When I recommitted my life to Christ as a younger woman, I'm grateful that the Holy Spirit himself begin to speak to me about how I was dressing, because honestly I think a well-meaning over zealous person in the church would have said something to me not being Guided by the Holy Spirit would have had me feeling some type of way, and that's why I use the word spiritually mature.

It's not just your women it's other races as well. What drives me bonkers is at my church (im white)some of the women who are in ministry positions wear tight leggings showing every bump and lump (and trust me they're not all skinny) and 4-5 inch heels. There are two older a-a women (ones dead, the other no longer goes to a different church since her husband died) who attended my church (pentecostal, ethnic--white, African American and African (cameroon, West africa) and I loved how they dressed! I always looked forward to seeing what they wore, and they would wear those amazing African prints. But it wasn't just what they wore, but it was how they carried themselves; they had charisma and they walked like they owned the place. And I didn't ever see other women carry themselves like that at church.

2024 this is still needed. How to teach women to basically dress modestly . And men really do respect when you dress modestly. You can leave all this other stuff for at home . And the privacy of your own home between you and your husband❤ but just like if you had to go to work in an office setting, you cannot trust a certain type of way. It has to be business attire. So when we come to church we mean business. Basically we're not here to play. So these are things that need to be said by the church on how we need to conduct ourselves and dress. It's not just your women it's other races as well. What drives me bonkers is at my church (im white)some of the women who are in ministry positions wear tight leggings showing every bump and lump (and trust me they're not all skinny) and 4-5 inch heels.
There are two older a-a women (ones dead, the other no longer goes to a different church since her husband died) who attended my church (pentecostal, ethnic--white, African American and African (cameroon, West africa) and I loved how they dressed! I always looked forward to seeing what they wore, and they would wear those amazing African prints. But it wasn't just what they wore, but it was how they carried themselves; they had charisma and they walked like they owned the place. And I didn't ever see other women carry themselves like that at church.

2024 this is still needed. How to teach women to basically dress modestly . And men really do respect when you dress modestly. You can leave all this other stuff for at home . And the privacy of your own home between you and your husband❤ but just like if you had to go to work in an office setting, you cannot trust a certain type of way. It has to be business attire. So when we come to church we mean business. Basically we're not here to play. So these are things that need to be said by the church on how we need to conduct ourselves and dress. Also the men with their tight pants and their open shirts and they're extra cologne and hugging and touching a lot that needs to be addressed as well by the mend

I haven't seen or heard Juanita Bynum in years. I stopped watching popular church, sick of what it has become. I am an intercesser, praying for my family and my children's friends. Today, I was listening to a pastor, who was speaking about this very thing and Juanita Bynum's name came up in my spirit. I shook it off and went on. Later when I was looking up a recipe on CZcams, a rendition of this with pics of Christian women dressed like she is describing came up. My spirit was jumping! Yes!!! Finally!!! I'm praying for you. GOD is everywhere and we need to, as CHRISTIAN women, be different. I could not figure out why I can't listen to A LOT of these new "gospel" artists but now I understand because even before I'd see the way they dressed, I felt something shift in my spirit that turned me off from sooooo many of these "gospel artists!!" No anointing. No conviction. No word....NO GOD!!!!! I feel nothing... I do see a bunch of entertainers though.
