That hair is easily older than his son, but it obviously wasn't even a hard call. This is love that will be passed on not only through his son, but through anyone around this family's incredible Aura.
Idk my hair grows longer than that in about 6 years and the kid is 7. Some people grow hair quickly other not so much. Doesn't change anything though. Very sweet of him to do that. Hope this video helps them raise more money.

Ps I'm a man and I've never known a woman personally who grows hair faster than me. By 15 years at this rate mine would be by my knees

It's HIS son so he can do whatever he wants. And, ever think the boy looks miserable because of his illness (not being able to play with his friends, feeling lousy all the time) and not because of the camera in his face? My point, don't jump to conclusions because you (and I) DON'T know what he (the son) is feeling. And just because you don't like "fuzzy feel good feelings" doesn't mean others shouldn't.

Memory, who is “they”. As a premed and researcher, your comment seems to undermine the years years of research that goes into this science. All across the world there are hundreds of research centers. I did Cancer biology research and if it seems like a cure that should have been found years ago, then it would have. I also worked in a hematology oncology department and yes, patients do recover from certain forms of cancer.
Overall, your tone is so judgmental that I can’t figure out for the life of me what YOU are doing. Who is tying your hands and telling you you can go do research and find the cure. The people doing this research are just like you. You don’t even need a PhD degree. Join a lab, take some science courses and stop judging the hard work people put in from a far where you could also be doing the same work they are.
You are part of the “they” you talk about. It’s humans just like you doing these studies and research everyday. Not some weird alien species. Humans just as capable as you. But it’s easier to point and talk and go.
From what I know, total cure is unlikely possible some even say impossible (but I'm optimist that human will eventually find a way for it) since cancer is not a single disease, its like solving continuous arithmetical problems meaning each cancer in every patient behaves different (has to do with complicated genetics) but now chances of people recovering from cancer is tremendously higher than ever before. Although not completely because you could develop another cancer in the future after you're completely treated free of cancer.
Anonxfg right and the problem also is that various people react differently to the same treatment/chemo. For example many people have recovered from Breast cancer based on the treatments we have however there are those who don’t successfully recover given the same treatment. There are many treatments for a number of cancers out there and people have recovered. However what the science is is that cancer is based on the genetic level. The types of genes that have mutated. For example the BRCA1 gene is the most common type of breast cancer and there is a treatment for that.
People don’t understand what it’s like to treat something on a GENETIC level. This isn’t an infection or something. It has to do with the mutations caused by an impairments in your genes. So every gene can vary and for some reason the same people with BRCA1 gene might react differently to the same treatment. So it’s not an all in one solution it’s an N-1 solution meaning every treatment/solution has to be differentiated for each individual since the same cancer is appearing different in different people. Genetic therapy is rising currently so everyone can get specialized treatment.
If you compare to what we had 20-30 years ago, cancer treatments have come far and really grown. It’s just not going to be like research finding answers every few years. There are also FDA regulations and most drugs take around 10 years to be researched, tested, and ultimately be FDA approved.
@@Maureen-MO yeah unlike pathogenic diseases, genetics related diseases is scarier in my opinion. What makes it scarier is that your life is a ticking time bomb and you know when you will probably die in your deathbed unlike pathogenic diseases which is unexpected. Just that psychological-anxiety and depressed feeling people be going through when their doctor's says "you have cancer".

This brought tears to my eyes. Mon 10/4 will mark the 3rd yr anniversary of my granddaughter Myla's passing from leukemia... 10/12 she would have turned 3yrs old. There is nothing more sad than to watch a child suffer from cancer. I was just telling my son last night how proud I was of him and his wife for how they juggled work, everyday life, and taking care of and loving her through the entire process up until her homegoing. What this man is doing for his son will walk him through the remainder of his life and is training for how to love HIS children through life's strife. In the mighty name Jesus he will be healed and I pray that we will see an update of his bell ringing ceremony to commemorate him being delivered from cancer!!!

Sorry god won't hear pray, but human like me do. No god can be heal disease, only sciences and medicine do support and suppress the diseases and help with the symptoms.
STOP this nonsense. Its chemo and medical doctors that went to school for years and years that are going to heal that kid, not magic. Its nurses working 12 hour shifts late into the night that will sit with him when he feels bad and clean up after him when he is sick. And its going to be a life time of preventive care and monitoring that keeps him healthy the rest of his life, not holy water sprinkled on his head.
You spam this stuff on every video, it is not helping kids with cancer. What WOULD help them is all the Christians in America realized they are supposed to be empathetic towards ALL people and pushed their congressmen for universal healthcare. What WOULD help is if Christians in America stopped halting medical progress, and for the Christians that are all for medical progress to call out and combat their fellow believers who _do_ slow things down. What WOULD help is combating laws that allow people to hide their mistreatment (including that of children) behind the premise of "religious freedom".
