Great review. Always liked the look and theme of this game, looks high quality, Iv never purchased it though due to the gameplay looking rather dull. Maybe I'll get it at some point, but it's currently not high enough on my wish list.
Been umming and ahing about getting this for a while, but think I’ll give a it a miss unless I can pick it up cheap - cheers for the helpful review and saving me a few quid. I already have Parks, which does similar things and also looks great on the table.
You’re welcome mate. If you’re after another game with more weight then Francis Drake has a similar Tokaido thing where you’re moving along a track getting resources but you can’t go back. It’s a great game with stunning production.
3 out of 5 is too much for this work of art. I love it, own it and never play it. It has the MachiKoro problem with the over abundance of pieces and parts that don't really help when the game is this simplistic.

It’s like a decent painting. You don’t look at it all the time but when you do it always offers something interesting.
