    Hey Beat Hackers,
In this week's video, I'm teaching you all about how to use cue points like the best DJs! Now some of you will already be familiar with cue points but I have started using them a lot more lately by color-coding cue points on all of my tracks! Let me know if you think this technique is helpful for when you're DJing in the comments below!
This is a great tutorial for anyone who is learning how to DJ and how to set cue points on your dj decks.
    See you all next week,
    Phil

That's okay... it's time. I've got hundreds of songs I've ripped down in mediocre quality and a smattering of different markers and hot cue setups which I really don't even use much anymore because they don't make sense. The phrasing of the music always makes sense, so your tip about setting markers by color in the same fashion across the board makes great sense, so -- like your cross drops -- your tip was perfectly timed. Hey I've been DJing electronic music for a bit longe than 10 years on Vinyl I think it was tougher back in those days, you had to know the song and read the vinyl waves to mix, I bought a Denon controler a couple of years ago and Ive just come to realise that everything has changed with digital music making it easy to mix and have mor time to chill but Ive also notice much more tools and be able to mix much much cleaner than back in the 90's on a nightclub set, I have a question for you.
Have you bought the course? whant your opinion.

wait till u see my video. Your all wasting your time if you using any software apart from vdj.Your all years, decades behind. Your gonna find that all music although 4/4 does not mean that the first beat is on bar. Also some people make tracks and do something fancy like drop the beats out before the end of a sequence, or change tempo, but don't adjust it so it falls back in line. Oh no what ya gonna do. Use vdj and you can fix it. Variable bpm is standard. Color coding isn't a dj hack, it's essential, but u need software that has features that. oh yeah serato has no features u have to add them. VDJ uses colour to show vocal, beats , bass. why u ask, cause you can make accapellas on the fly, strip any part of a track. VDJ allows you to allocate colour to buttons for any reason u wish, i patty u all. im buzzing, but whats his excuse, y use serato when it's shit

Really great way of using cues. I think in deep house and progressive sets where I mix for 1-2 min it's not so helpful but with Drum n Bass sets this style of cueing makes mad sense 🥳🥳🥳
