Great video, Hans!!! Man, the whistle/whine on those mowers make mine sound terrible. Ha ha, they really do a nice job even in that tall stuff! 1025R is impressive!
Thanks bud! I like that sound too! It did a lot of work for me while I was there. Doing that was all very therapeutic though. Good for the soul. So worth it.
@@noelstractors-firewood57 very few 2Ns were built the choke rod out the front. And most that are still around have been changed. Unfortunately the loader is blocking a couple details that would decipher what it is. The I beam radius arms were used on all 9Ns and the 2Ns from 1942 to mid 1944. More then likely the tractor pictured is a 2N. 9Ns were made for not even a full 3 years and the 2Ns were made for 6 years.
Hi Hans! That was rather therapeutic to see the before and after. Is that big white building the barn? Nice piece of property, are you going to buy it? Plenty of land for tractors, no doubt! 🇺🇲🚜👍
I am going to try and acquire it with time. I guess we'll see what happens. It's a fun little property. There are two barns. The white one and there's another red & green one. Lots of room for tractors! Congrats on the RC! I had talked with the guys briefly about me getting while I was out on the road, but it was closer for Connor. Very nice tractor! Glad the gang could get it for you.
@@TractorHoarders Hey buddy, hope your weekend is going well. I hope you end up getting that property. Do you have family close by? How old are the barns? Thank you so much for considering picking up my tractor for me. I really appreciate the Relics gang coming together to help me secure my dream tractor!
I have mowed actual alfalfa hay with the purple blooms on top at my uncles 3 acre place with my JD 1025R! ended up leaving tiny windrows with each pass from the discharge chute!!!
The 1025r is just purring along sounds like. How is the loader on it? Before and after Good Job! Hope it gets new owners who will love it like the couple who lived there I bet did.
I hate to cut grass when it's not dry but sadly sometimes you don't have a choice im really thinking about buying a jd 3036e since i already have a jd 170e but the 1025 is really a nice tractor it's a hard choice between those two tractors
I’m sure you’d be happy with whatever you choose. The 1025R is way higher selling so if you plan to keep it a long time, parts would likely never be an issue to come by. It will also have the highest quantity of aftermarket accessories just due to its popularity.
Not yet! In my next trip out, I'm going to try and get it running. Something happened to it and it's been sitting the last 7 years I believe. It'll be fun to try and get it going. By the way, I still owe you my response to the pocket challenge! Life has been busy lately.
@@TractorHoarders No worries on the challenge. You have bigger fish to fry. I have to split my 8N. The ring gear is disintegrating in the bell housing.
Hey DUMMY SQUAD, do they sell new human EYES and EARS at your local walmart now? You know you can lose an eye or two using a trimmer and no eye protection right kid? What did you say? What? Ear plugs? What???
Freaking awesome man I’d love to spend a day mowing a huge place like that!
It was a lot of work and very fun at the same time! Thanks Frank.
That must have been SO satisfying, great job helping out 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
It really was satisfying! I worked there seven days straight and could have used more time.

Thanks for the video
Thank you!
Fun video!
Thanks Jason, I thought it was fun too! It was quite the job there. Wish I would have got more video, but it was just a lot of work to get done.
I thought I was doing a good deed mowing the widows lawn in the neighbor hood...I'm a piker..lol
A good deed is a good deed!
man that tractor and weed eater are both beasts!!
They are for sure!
John Deere 1025R
and
Echo 3020-T
They did amazing!
Wow. Quite a job. Nice 8N Ford there. Thanks for the video.
That's a 9N or early 2N. Not 8N.
Jason1Pa, can’t see very well, but I don’t see a choke rod out the front grill. So could be a 9N. I’ll have to brush up on my identification skills.

Jason1Pa, thanks Jason.
It was quite the job! There was so much not captured on video. I worked there seven 14 hour days!
Looks like a nice piece of property
It really is! Just needs a little love.

If the ground was so soft and saturated, I would have lost the weights on back and the FEL for less damage to ground. Good vid. Lots of work.
Lots of work, but it was enjoyable work!

@@TractorHoarders Did a purty good job. ran as bout as fast as what ya'll were doin here, mabe a tad slower

The loader works amazing and it’s one of the handiest attachments that I own. It’s such a good little tractor.
👍👍
anyone else see the mouse run out at 3:48? haha
Haha, good eye!! Yes
What blades are you using on your 1025R?
These are just the JD standard blades that come on the 60D deck new

Ground wet through... Tractor sinking so the guy mows it with a load of weight on the back and loader on the front
Is that old Ford N series tractor following you home?

i wonder how a ZD1211 from kubota would do with that grass
I bet it would do pretty decent
Next trip call me. I’ll get Skyline and deliver it to the job site….
Deal!! Would be good to see you and catch up too!
Hardly any ruts at all, LOL LOL LOL. Just drive a freakin' M1 Abram's tank all over the yard next time. Looks terrible guy.
Um, the brush hog is the correct tool for this.
Sure is, but the mid mount mower got it done! Didn’t care to bring the bush hog with me.
You need industrial size
Way to wet to mow. Indentation in yard left.
I agree. It was so super wet! But, it's a farm and not a golf course, so no harm done.

You guys aren't setup for mowing grass at all Jesus, you're way to heavy!!!
This isn’t a golf course. Big tractors have driven over the whole property for years. It’s a farm. No harm done, all good! 😀
