I've been playing for many years, and although I'm not slow, I'm not fast despite practicing in all kinds of ways. The sad reality is that we are limited by the physical capabilities/limitations of our brains. It's hard to hear and accept, but we all have limitations, and most, will never be able to shred like this guy regardless of what they do. If all it took was just hard work, dedication, the right mindset, etc we would all be professional dancers, professional singers, soccer/basketball players, bodybuilders, etc. Practice and hard work will make you better, but only up to a certain point where is just diminishing returns, you will be limited by your own brain. It's the brain that plays guitar, the hands are just an extension, a tool the brain uses. We all have different brains. To assume that if one just practices hard enough and puts in blood and tears, you can become as fast as this dude is naive AF. If shredding fast was as simple as just practicing, hard work, and dedication, there wouldn't so many searches and people trying to achieve it. Its the fact that is difficult and very few can do it right, why is so sought out, and just like having an aesthetic physique, you can workout as hard as you want, you may never look as good as someone who just has the right genes. Similarly, some people are born with incredible brain power and neural connections that allow them to excel at instruments. Chances if you have been practicing for many years and it hasn't happened yet, it never will, this is a hard pill to swallow, no amount of practice will do it. It's like trying to compete with a Nigerian sprinter who was born to be fast, you can train, work harder, you'll get faster, but you'll never reach him regardless of what you and is fine, is not meant for you. Shredding fast is not meant for everyone and everyone wasnt born to be able to do it
