What a great and enjoyable trip and video. Really liked the way you showed setting up camp. Don’t get me wrong I love watching you catching those smallmouth but taking us all the way to the campfire was great. Keep up the great trips and videos.

Man I was on the Ouachita river a couple of days ago and hooked into what would have easily been my PB smallmouth. I threw a ned rigged crawdad into a fresh laydown, felt the bump-bump, but had the rod in my hands kind of weird, got a not so great hookset, then the fish swam straight to the surface and jumped like 3 ft in the air. If I was a betting man I'd say it weighed 3 lbs. Absolute monster for that river. Shook his head while flying and spit out my hook. I was crushed. Was a really dark brown with beautiful vertical stripes. I'm going back to that same spot soon for hopefully round two.
Dang man! Been there before with a largemouth. It hurts deep. What a rush though. You will have another chance my friend. Tight lines!
