I must have caught it before it was. 🎉
As much as I love the Horse Guards, I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour. I'll never be able to see London in person so your wanderings make it like I'm walking with you.
John, thank you for all the time and work you put into these videos. I’m from USA and I have learned so much from you about your wonderful country and you do it in such a pleasurable way. School was never like this. Love your laugh and how you put “info” about the crazy people you see. What a wonderful imagination!!!!
42:50 love all those clever birds waiting for visitor treats
John, I am on Hospital today so I want to thank you for a much needed laugh. You have no idea how much you and Captain Frank make our days filled with laughter. Thank you, from across the pond. 🤗❤️😁
This park looks like a view from a gorgeous oil painting. Again, thanks for sharing this with us. ❤❤❤❤
A stunning video best for a while, horses ,wildlife and guardsmen what's not to like.
I could honestly spend 12 months in London and explore everything and still not see it all. Such a beautiful place to live. You are very lucky. All those tourists. The food places in the park looked packed with people. The economy during tourist season would bring a fair amount of money in. But the views really out do anywhere else in the world. My number one pick to visit for sure
Loved the walk this morning 😅
Every time I see the balcony at Buckingham Palace it reminds me of Our Late Queen last appearance on the balcony 🥲
Absolutely stunning walk!
Agree - Thank you, John, for the wonderful walk around London. All the greenery and that park - glorious!
Spectacular! stunning! How fortunate you are to live where you do. And who knows, maybe the policewoman will take a walk to the pond with you someday🙂
Great video as usual. Thanks for the tour.
Just think about taking a plot of land, designing every detail, like placement of buildings, the architecture, the road/walkways, the spectacular fountain, the greenery/forestry/waterway and of course Buckingham Palace the main feature, is a wonder all on it's own. How this came about, so very many years ago, had a brilliant vision, that attracts throngs of people from around the world, is mindboggling.
I am very glad you are being careful in traffic. As it would extremely pi** me off if you were a sizzling pancake on the tarmac, then what the hell would I do everyday. I would be forced to move to London and hang out at horse guards which I would love but I cannot compete with your magnificent narrative.
Excellent John!! I understand that, i still watched it all again coz i loved it that much. Also i love your commentary and your lovely wit 😂you crack me up. Thank you John Stay Safe ❤❤🇬🇧🇬🇧
John your sense of humor is great.
On well these things happen ! I'll try and remember what I said on the original 😁. I'd happily pay £4 to sit for two hours in a deckchair taking in the glorious sunshine , sights and sounds around the park ! Go to the Palace with those crowds ? No thank you ! My worst nightmare 😶 So thanks John for going on our behalf 😘. Now you're slipping John, what was the name of the squirrel , did you get a close look at his paw ? Was it Nutkin? 😂😂😂. I hope the couple from York ( beautiful city ) got to see their son after you took them round . As always John many thanks xxx
Beautiful morning walk through the parks. You are so lucky to have such lovely parks in the heart of the city. I prefer travelling during the off season, it’s not as crazy busy with tourists. Thank you for a grand morning 😊👍🏻
53:29, NO! I would be screaming in this mess. I do NOT do crowds! The pelicans are fascinating. It was a wonderful walk, John. I have always enjoyed the walks, thanks for sharing. Stay safe!
The park was beautiful. Thanks for taking us through . Great video, nice to see London.
I grew up at Millbank, so St James’s Park was my local park and had a great childrens playground. More info on the pelicans:
“First introduced to the park in 1664 as a gift from the Russian Ambassador, over 40 pelicans have since called the park home.
Isla, Tiffany and Gargi, and our more recent new additions Sun, Moon and Star can often be found basking on their favourite rocks in the middle of the lake. You can often see them being fed between approximately 2:30pm and 3:00pm each day, next to Duck Island Cottage.”
@botticellirejectbotticelli2668 thank you for information on the pelicans. Made me 😂 laugh of all the parks in London had pelicans.

Thanks John! I really felt that I was there today looking at the lovely walk down the park, not sure in this life time I’ll ever make it to London but thanks to you and other CZcamsrs I’m able to see it in the eyes of others(more like filming😂)
I enjoyed the walk about the Mall it was very interesting, thanks.
Great timing the Irish Guards marching back - that's your reward after your good deed helping the couple from York.
Plus horses and troopers. Nice chatty police from out of town, safe journey home for police.
John, thank you for this splendid footage, the park is magical and with your sense of humour oo lala 😂

Hi John. Linda from Florida. I love the horse guards (horse owner myself) but thoroughly enjoyed the walk this morning especially the walk through the park. Absolutely gorgeous! Certainly different from what you see in Florida. Thank you for all your hard work.

@LondonCityWalks.
Been thinking about your employment prospects. So after some serious considerartion I thought what about a career in 🎥 film?¿?¿?
Or maybe 🤔 hum oh I know voice-overs?¿?¿?
Hope 🙏 that helps.
Thanks for the walk through sunny glorious St James Park much nicer than just walking up the Mall. Thank you.
One question from an older woman…..Where’s the restroom? Lol😊
Some distance: either Westminster Station or Trafalgar Square!
Your storks are actually pelicans😂
@45, wondering, are dogs banned, haven;t seen a single dog walker yet
John, come on over to the Republic of Texas and you can play with my horses all day long!
Will pray for you to get a great paying job.
Okay so there's two of the same video but this one ended short. I thought I was going crazy when I saw the other one... 😅
Is it true that the King's Guard can't get married or have children.
Hi
To be fair to the idiot he stops immediately, gets off the road and doesn’t argue whining about disrupting his precious time history in the way most runners and cyclists do. I wonder if he came out of Green Park and somehow got onto the road without knowing what was happening there. Benefit of the doubt. Not guilty. (But don’t do it again)
Oh John. You are awful. But I like you. If you’re old enough to remember the great Dick Emery
" Hello Honky Tonk " 😂😂😂
You are not inarticulate. Or was that a joke?
Thanks John takes me back to my childhood living in Chiswick. visited many parks my mum used to take us out a lot especially in school holidays we used to go a lot to Kew gardens as well, I was chased age 3 by Chinese geese I was so small I ran and hid under a Japanese maple to get away from them. I was terrified they kept hissing at me. Happy days!
2nd time watching. Love it, but glad im not in that horrific crush. Thank you for your courage! Xx
