Considering that we are getting the two Blu-ray's volumes for Season 1 in October & November of 2024.
I doubt we would get Season 2 in Fall 2024.
At earliest it would be Winter 2025.

This season of 7th Prince covered 41 chapters of the manga, with the outro covering part of chapter 42. That means it was averaging about 3.4 chapters per episode. The next arc is fantastic, so I was really excited to hear it already has a second season confirmed.

Surprised this got season 2 announced. My boy Lloyd magical wonders isn't done yet. But yo Lloyd just performed Holo purple except without much destruction behind it.
It felt like a longer moment in the manga, but the part where Lloyd's mana came out and the demons really understood what they were dealing with is my favourite part of this scene. Underneath that cute exterior is a genuine eldritch horror and I am here for it.
At first, I thought that the darkness was just the multiple blackholes keeping them from seeing the sunlight. Then I realized why Grim and Guisarme were freaking out. And then *I* was freaking out.
The music is on top even after this episode 😂😂
when Gisearme said do you know how mutch mana you need just to conjur 1 and Louyed letting 12 hit each other to just see what happens and not even be faced by the mana consumption xD and then revealing his mana to to Grim and Gisearme and grim is even more shocked then when he found out that Gisearme was a deamonlord
Lloyd was being savage this episode, not only did he erase all efforts for Guisarme after he used the mana in the atmosphere to summon Mortal Sphere, he wasn't paying attention to anything afterwards because he was in the middle of sneezing lol. The way he sent Guisarme into the void with the most minimal interest was cold, he really was disappointed in Guisarme and no longer wanted anything to do with him after he took away the potential out of a magic user.
The only minor interest Lloyd had was if Void could kill a Demon.
Poor Grim, too. After that sneeze, Lloyd stopped suppressing his mana and scared Grim for life.
The absolute terror in Grims words and on his face said it all.
The worst of all reactions you could get from a powerful enemy is probably boredom.
Even more so when you're talking about Lloyd, an absolute curiosity-driven menace.
It highlights what Lloyd values and what not.
Yes the demon was INSANELY strong... but it was based on the fact that.. well.. he is just strong.
No creativity or anything. just powering through with pure might.
Lloyd can do that too but its boring. He was hoping for something more interesting but all the demon could do was flex his magic muscles.

That was really something, for the first time lloyd legitimately faced everyone properly. A great moment. Then to find out jade's intentions, absolutely fantastic, he bet on the possibility that someone like lloyd would stop that demon and even save his friends. I actually almost cried. Now for the action,ngl he was like gojo, that boy alone is the honoured one. Lastly my lowkey favorite moment, talia getting the brother buzzed, shows she getting better with her magic already. There was so much to this episode, I CAN'T WAIT FOR SEASON 2!
I’d bet that he was banking on Lloyd specifically. He put a lot of stock into that rumor about Lloyd.
Ren graduated from exhibitionist to maid. Like, that' better, more clothes.
Also I do admit the bathing scene is funny from the fact Lloyd just ignore the rest and just has a badass moment.
As for Lloyd maturity, I just think that he is very self-aware of his own weirdness, and he understand what is normal to a certain extent, he just doesn't care to follow those rules, doesn't make him any less an adult from his previous life. he cares about things, it's just that is life is dedicated to magic so he has no reason to care about things he doesn't care for.
Oh, and Lloyd and that crazy burn be like " I was disappointed in the effect, like I am disappointed in you right now"
He was a teenager in his past life. Dude died in his mid to late teens, wasn't an adult yet. Also, so what if he has memories of his older life, his brain is still that of a child's and all that entails. He will still haven childish emotional responses and childish desires (which he has shown multiple times) because his brain still hasn't fully developed yet.
We do not call child geniuses in the real world adults because they run business and get degrees by the time they are 10. Lloyd is in the same boat.

I am sad to see this go but thank goodness I saw earlier that a season two was announced so there's still more to look forward to. I'm surprised this turned out better than I thought it would, I thought it'd be something I wouldn't enjoy too much initially but now I am looking forward to watching the next season lol.
What I like about this show is Lloyd isn't really all-powerful. He is overpowered yes, but his enemies are too. How the fake Jade was an actual threat to him and that he didn't win alone was so refreshing to see in a power fantasy.
If your ultimate attack gets poofed out of existence and the enemy is bored, it's time to go home. Rest in peace, Jade. He and Lloyd would've been best buds. At least the assassins get to enjoy a good life working for Lloyd.
Also, the way my jaw dropped with the sheer quantity of Lloyd's mana was vast enough to block out the sun... I'm so glad a second season was announced because I want to see more insanity and shenanigans.

Jade had the last laugh. I really do love the chibi style throughout the series.
I’m betting money that it wasn’t rigor mortis that locked Guisarme in Jade’s body, but his last act!
Technically speaking, he always care about people. It just overshadowed by his love for magic that make his act of helping others seems like he simply look to them as tools when that is not the case or fully the case. His perspective about life is quite interesting which would be explain further down the road.
What a great episode and ending to this season/arc of the show. It was so funny how the demon lord’s ultimate attack just got canceled by Lloyd. As he already had mastered that spell, which made the demon lord both so terrified and pissed off. That he did not take the spell that serious, as it was just another spell that he could experiment with. Then Lloyd just ended that man with that black hole like spell.
Also liked the scene where Arnold makes Lloyd realize the responsibility of taking on those assassin guild members as his servants. As it was a pretty serious scene even for Lloyd. Then the tea party was great as well as Albert was getting hit on by that busty assassin chick. Who made him drunk by her power.
But my favorite scene I have to say is the one with the most plot during hot spring scene. As I loved how Lloyd was once again set between Sylpha’s boobs. And especially in how casual he was about it. I really hope that season 2 to give Lloyd the same amount of plot in that regard😏

I am so unbelievably hype for Season 2!!! Very happy with how they adapted this anime, but man I wish the OST was made available because that was my biggest surprise with how good some of the tracks were. Especially the track during the final moments of the fight and at the grave too.
I hope season 2 gets 24 episode. season will be so good. And I really hope we also get a 3rd season

-Actual development on the guy when he takes responsibility for le assassins and gives Ren a nice, heartfelt pep-talk? Check.
-Best Bro Albert who is top candidate for the throne as long as A) nothing sus happens to Lloyd, and/or B) You Don't Get Him Drunk? Check and double check.
-Enemies that display proper amounts of despair when confronted with Lloyd's curiosity, or worse, his boredom? Check.
-Grimm crying his eyes out when caught in whatever magic-justified insanity Lloyd causes? Check. Give the little guy a medal for enduring all that shit and still wanting to hang out around our lil' magical calamity.
-Sylpha and Tao? Check, please. That "Slypha's long reach" gag when Lloyd joins the steamy scene... gold.
-Lloyd not even blinking when in Sylpha's questionable embrace? Check.
-Ren being an absolute cinnamon roll? Check. Hope Sylpha doesn't "teach" her the wrong stuff (vain hope, I know).
So glad there is a season two. Because I just want more well-animated, batshit crazy 7th Prince. This show is that good indeed.
Lloyd’s sister is so funny riding on the fenrir, casually eating the demons. Chilling with the local animals getting the deets on the best hot springs.

I hate when I have to precede my recommendation of a show with big IF, and there are some big sus moments for sure, but it's absolutely one of the biggest surprises and best shows this season, and keep in mind this season is STACKED.

This was definitely a show. While my opinion of the story, its characters, and presentation haven’t changed since the early episodes I did like what I saw throughout the season. Guess I’ll tune in for season 2 and see what happens next.
to be honest i dropped the manga waiting for an anime of this because every panel had so much going on. The production will have no problem filling every frame😅
but it did cut of alot of stuff and tbh manga is more immersive than what anime depict

When switching media information has to be adjusted for the platform for better or worse.
if there is a light novel there would also be information that was cut because the amount of detail that has to bring the concept to life injust words word be insane.

I liked the anime so much immediately after watching that last episode I started searching for light novel. Turns out light novel doesn't have translation and web novel has translation so shit there are doubts if it was made by human. I guess there is manga but I really would prefer reading LN. One day it will really annoy me into learning japanese.
Well from what we know is Lloyd's backstory Lloyd was mostly alone in his past life he had only one real friend ironically enough Albert the second Prince now his loving older brother
I feel the anime studio for this manga had an easier and tougher job adapting this manga. Easier because the manga panels server as a great storyboard already that they don't need to adjust too much. Tougher because of the SFX, the transitions and the fight scene need up be spectacular for this to work. And I think they nailed it.
Lloyd might be crazy and a magic nerd BUT he does care about the people around him. He will destroy anyone who hurts them.
Not if Lloyd thinks the person doing the hurting is a magically interesting and has the potential to further the study of sorcery

I don't know man I don't see Lhoyd making the Assassin guild as his retainers because of purely empathy. I can easily see Lhoyd's magic obsessed side trying to experiment with the Assassins guild ability or tweak their abilities a little bit. So he now keeps them at a close distance
Thats his excuse. Mainly he started liking them and wants to protect them for Jade who he has deep respect for and his work in his magic.
If it wasn't clear, it was explained last arc that his love of magic and people are one and the same. Magic is his way of communicating with interesting people, and the human desire to aspire to greatness is what enamored him. His sense of human value and well-being is warped because of how OP he is, but he still cares for them to live.
i have only a few things to say to this it was satisfactionary some may not agree but for me it lived up to the manga reader (that is me) expectation yes im throughly content and im happy about it

Season 2 yeah I'm am definitely looking forward to it. 👍I just hope they change the ending like make it better, because in the manga right at the last ended, it really sucked. They could have done so much better. I still liked the manga, it just ended in a weird way. And honestly I was hoping for more chapters for this manga, and a better boss fight.
Turns out Mushoku Tensei wasn't the only anime with a similarity to JJK this season.
This joke would have been better if 7th Prince aired first tbh.
But wow to think they announced season 2 this quickly. They didn't even leave any teaser unlike 100gf so I thought there wouldn't be one but hey, I ain't complaining. Lots of hype sh*t is gonna come next season with even more ridiculousness, I can't wait.
The only thing missing from this season was a rematch between crazy elf maid and Lloyd. When they last had a match Lloyd was copying her abilities to match her. Then it was later that episode or next episode when he scanned her more serious style when fighting the demon. I wanted to see them two train again when she has to face herself actually at full power. I was expecting it at first, the they walked around it for two episodes, avoided it then everything got caught up in the the story of the blighted ones. And then it ended. Beyond just how much I enjoyed every individual episode, this part alone is what I'm most anticipating for the next season
There's no context in which a match between Lloyd and Sylpha would be a fair fight. Lloyd could nuke the entire area and there's no way Sylpha would be able to defend herself against his magic, and it goes without saying that Lloyd is no match for Sylpha in a sword fight, even if he's able to copy her movement. The outcome of the match simply depends on how much magic Lloyd is allowes to use.
@@germsspices It's not a fight I care to see. It's just the reaction from her as a character to Lloyd being on her level with swordsmanship alone that I want to see. Talking about how much magic he's allowed to use proves you had no idea what the fuck I was talking about anyway so I don't know why I'm bothering wasting my time replying

I have a bad feeling... Why do I think that Lloyd will try to turn these former Assasins into same magic maniacs like himself... I find it Lloyd matured so sus that ... I just cant accept that respect of Jade and seeing their potencial is all it took to agree... I think he already has concrete plans or experiments he wants to try and while I dont think he will harm them I just cant shake that bad feeling.
He talked to Ren how her poison could be used to make medicine & how they're two sides of a coin. I'd wager he has similar ideas for the rest of them to figure out ways to use their magic in different ways. We did see Talia get Albert drunk simply by sharing her buzz with him.
Its not a fun anime without atleast a little bit of ecchi...😅😅 (Im talking to the reincarnated with an appraisal skill anime)
