Emeth also seems to resemble Oars in the dramatic sense. As Thriller Bark was the lead up arc to the Sabaody Archipelago arc, another arc the Egghead arc kinda has been paralleling. Back then we had the very dead Oars being reawakened by the use of a devil fruit's power. Now we have the iron giant being introduced to us "dead" and reawakening by a much nicer devil fruit power in Luffy's. Even more ironically, it was shadows that awakened Oars, while it was the sun that awakened Emeth.

There has to be a limit to how far away the drums can be heard or Iron Robot would have awakened when Luffy transformed on nearby Wano. Which could explain why Zunesha didn't hear Joyboys heartbeat 200 years ago.
I kinda think a passive person had the nika fruit, a d clan member who wasnt a pirate or marine. Someone who was just happy with living a peaceful boring life who so happened to eat the fruit. He was able to unlock "gear 5" but nobody or the government knew because he was just a regular person who wasnt sailing the sea's
I'm betting that either A.) Someone had the Nika fruit and brought Emeth with them to do some silly, wacky stuff to the Celestial Dragons; or B.) Joyboy actually returned from the past and maybe left Emeth around Mary Geoise in preparation of an assault.
I'm also curious if Imu had the Motherflame around this time, and Emeth somehow assisted in destroying it until Vegapunk recreated it. It could be the case that Emeth saved the world 200 years of flooding until Luffy could be born.

I think Joyboys crew was from Elbaf and the original Joy Boy was a giant. The WG , Big Mom, even Kaido with the Numbers, the great powers of the world all seem to have an interest in giants, not to mention the giant straw hat on marijoia. Zunesha and now Emeth are 2 confirmed Joy Boy companions and they are both HUGE!

My thoughts & opinions of the chapter:
1. Assuming Yamato wants to prevent Wano to go back to the dark age that Kaidou & Orochi started, do you think she will make amends to the people her father wronged until now?
2. If Usopp & the others are late, then this may lead to a possibility where the Egghead arc will end with the Strawhats being split in 2 groups. Now the question is whether the Elbaf arc will begin with just one of those 2 groups heading there, or they'll find a way to meet each other before the arc starts?
3. It is no surprise that the Iron Giant - Emeth will team up with Luffy & the others during the next chapter. However, i now wonder if this may confirm my theory that the incident from 200 years was caused by a Nika user at the time, whether or not they were extremists like Hordy or Arlong.
Not likely zunisha heard the drums of liberation after 800 years. Which means there were no more nika user since then.
200 years ago someone may have just done an experiment that failed successfully.

This got me thinking about why Emet apologized to Joyboy immediately after awakening to Luffy's heartbeat. In this chapter we got to know that Joyboy told Emet to act when the time is right and Emet went on a rampage 200 years ago on Marijoa when the time was not "right" which lead to his capture and then sent to Egghead making him apologize right after Joyboys heartbeat was head by him. Which makes him saying when the time is right before his punch on Warcury who even Joyboy is frightened of.
The idea of the speech bubbles being similar to Zunesha's makes me wonder if Emeth would use the Voice of All Things.

17:49 Roger and his crew found and read the final road poneglyph while it was still on Fishman island and then it moved so I don't think Emeth knows where it is, especially since its been asleep for 200 years.
The final Road Poneglyph was at Fishman Island when Roger found it. So if it is inside Emeth, it was placed there later.
When I first saw the Robot, Alphone Elric was the very first thing I thought of. Emeth could be just like Alphonse in the sense that its the soul/memories of a real person that's been uploaded to the robot to keep them alive after a grave injury or something.
I just re-watched Punk Hazard. I know its a super long shot because its a common color to use for liquid inside of vat. But when Law took out the SAD room the substance seemed much like the green liquid that is powering the seraphim. I know it's infused with some form of Lineage factor but I wonder if it powers them as well

Emeth is the part in joyboys crew that franky is in luffys. Franky is on the way to be more robot than human and Emeth has transformed himself more and more into a robot and can therefore survive the time. He lost his will to fight when Joy Boy died, but Luffy's appearance reawakened his fighting spirit.

So we don't know if any of them are that old or older, just that Mars was around 200 years ago and the others know of that attack on the capitol in particular. I still think Saturn 5 is the oldest, with Mars 4 2nd oldest, followed by Warcury, Gandhi, and Ju Peter.

My point was more that Mars has either been given a vision of the Iron Robot, or more likely this does confirm he is at least 200 years old. It doesn't mean he is 800 years old, and it doesn't mean anything for the other 4 elder stars, just Mars said he recognized it.
On the note about sacrificing someone to get eternal life, what if all the Gorosei were members of Joyboy's crew and they betrayed the crew, sacrificing each of them in one way or another. like one members soul being placed in the giant robot, or Zunesha being changed into an elephant and cursed to wonder the seas.

My theory for emeth is that in the void century an awakened user of the shadow shadow fruit that moria has in the current timeline put someone's shadow(it could even be the shadow of one of those ancient demon giants, an anscestor of Oarses into that mech to save the person from dying and give them a chance to keep on fighting in the war, or just with the idea that he will survive for 800 years to deliver a message to the next joyboy. and the user being awakened would allow the shadow retained its personality amd maybe even to be put into innanimate objects like the robot, but if he had to wait for 800 years in the first place, he wouldnt attack mary jois 200 years ago, where as if he was put in the robot as a last resort to continue fighting, it would seem reasonable for him to attack mary jois the moment he woke up and realized all his friends are dead and 600 years have passed and he's just been sleeping, the rage would surely make him go straight for those who wronged him

With all the stalling for time the show has to do to avoid catching up to the comic, you would THINK they would LOVE to adapt those cover stories into the show. I know I'd prefer to see that to recapping that time they recapped the last recap.

So ive been thinking something for a while now, taking into account the tragic setting around zuneisha, what is she was actually a zoan elephant user who lost her will because of what happened to joy boy, take it as her being consumed by the devil fruit resulting in that titanic form, similar to what happens with chopper and his beast form, taken to a bigger extreme tho.

The iron giant looks to be a creation made by multiple awakened fruit users. For example Jiki Jiki no mi (Kidd) combined with Baku Baku no mi (Wapol) could build an iron giant. Who could give it life? Could Opi Opi no mi (Law) do it? I think it could.
Oda has done interesting cover stories from time to time during or after an OP Arc. Yamato will gain the Wano citizens' trust and show she's her own person, and not just like Kaido in any shape, form, or personality.

Something to also think about.

I sort of wonder if devil fruits were always “devil” fruits. If the elder stars do have fruit powers, maybe they have ones that weren’t corrupted.
I also have sort of wonder if Joy Boy’s Allies were the ones who used the ancient weapons and that’s the crime of Zunesha and why the giant apologizes.
If so, it could be why they inadvertently lost the war. They flooded the world and the World Gov cursed devil fruits, and those things combined lead to Joy Boy sinking/being defeated.

What if the Buccaneers we're like a toned down version of Joyboy. Maybe their bodies have near unlimited strength like big mom but are being held back by thinking they are only so powerful. A mental block, they can't imagine a more powerful version of themselves so they bottleneck their power.
