This is the best camper conversion video that I have seen on CZcams. There are minor adjustments that I would make. Installing the L brackets for instance. Not using self tapping grabbers directly into the chassis of the vehicle. Instead, driving holes into the chassis using bolts, washers and lock washers for mounting the brackets then also doing the same for mounting the studs into the brackets. Using grommets between the holes in the chassis for the bolts. Then, using T brackets for cross joints. Using a heavier gauge sheet metal piano hinge then using a router to the size of the hinge and giving it a flush mount.
This was 48 mins well spent watching. I love it. Because my kids have grown up I wouldn't need the little bed, but I think that it would be great for mounting a TV and other things onto.
Great Job…. Exhausting work. I’ve got Highlander and that’s way to much work. Cause I’m just not going to tear out my seats and do all that. I put the seats down, inflate a sleeping mattress, that fits snug from side to side and from the very end of the back all the way to the back of front seats. Sleeps level and great.

Sometimes I look at these builds and think, "What do you do when you need to pee in the middle of the night?" I would wet myself, or worse, trying to wiggle out of that space to take care of those middle of the night nature calls. But then I am 6'2" and 70 years old. We just bought a Highlander, and I have been wondering how to make it work for just myself. I might have to just go with a roof rack to haul my Shiftpod tent around. Still working on it though......
Use a pee bottle
I do, even when I am at home. I am 70, crippled up and facing back surgery in a month. Wiggling makes me pee. I am an old crippled 🦚@@Doug762a Btw, great name. I have the same one.
