    I usually would say that this would be excuses in most situations, but Divorce and being away from your kids could take a toll on anyone. I think that is hugely affecting Dame. Imagine being in a house with your wife and kids every day for 10 years plus, and one day everything just changes. Hopefully he finds peace.

Yes, he is an elite perimeter defender, but in the playoffs, he was unable to get his shot and has a limited offensive game. Even when Bucks won that championship in 2021, Holiday shot terrible except for a game here and there. With Middleton being in and out, Bucks had to get an elite scorer to pair up with Giannis.

    "It's definitely lonely because I'm such a family guy. My life is my family. After games, I would come out and my whole family would be back there. My kids coming out of the playroom. My mom, my brother, my cousins lived there, you know what I mean? My best friends live in Portland. So I would come out, we would go to dinner. They might come to my house. After practice, I might go to my mom's house and just chill. That's how my life was. So, I mean, I'm fine because I'm grown. But it's definitely lonely. I'm filled up by those people." -Dame Lillard back in February. If he went to Miami, how would this change all his family and friends living in Portland? Was there some agreement they would all move out there if he were traded there? We don't know that and everything is speculation but in the same interview he acknowledged he made a big boy decision to leave his home and go compete. Yeah, the nightlife is better in Miami but is he really the guy who wants to go out to clubs every night and party with people in their 20s anymore? Again, can't be answered but to have Milwaukee trade Dame for peanuts after the season, if the Bucks, fail is ridiculous.

    Why is Dame getting a pass ? I think he needs to slender down a bit. The difference between Dame and Steph is that Steph is just as great off the ball as he is with the ball. Sometimes you have to sacrifice . Maybe Dame should run off more ball screens to get easier shots. Double screens , back doors.

    • @marktrail8624
      @marktrail8624 Před 13 dny

    • @dnative93
      @dnative93 Před 13 dny +1

      Bro sometimes you have to be willing to adjust and flow . Sometimes it won’t work but you continue . What if Dame running off more screens begin to open up other parts of the team game that it actually raises the overall team . I believe Dame is a championship player . Lebron had to learn to play in the post more in Miami to open on different looks for the team and ultimately help add to his overall game. I’m not saying he should play exactly like Steph . I’m just saying just add more ball screens with him coming off angles and spots on the court he want. You can’t just ignore Dame running hard off a pin down screen with another screen coming ready to pull up off the dribble . You gotta trap or now they can fake the pass and get an easy layup. Maybe this the destination Dame grows his overall off ball offense (no Diddy)

He's always had a nonchalant lowkey persona about himself, look at when he hit the game winner on OKC, he didn't smile or celebrate with happiness like his teammates did. Dame was never a jolly, always laughing & smiling type of guy. He's said so many times in the past that if he could play with any current player, it would be Giannis. And he's said in interviews that when all this was going down, & Milwaukee popped into the picture, his agent asked him "What about Milwaukee?" And Dame okay'd it, he said he was interested in that.

    A. Smith. He thinks he makse sense but, that brother makes no sense. Dame could have had his family with him this season. And...if they can't be with him in Milwaukee, they gonna be with him in Miami.....or anywhere else. Mumble jumble
