The worst Sheldon moment would have to be where he forces Leonard to wear an itchy sweater, until he returns a DVD, only to reveal that he found it years ago, and was trying to teach Leonard a lesson. Leonard must have the patience of a Saint to tolerate Sheldon at his worst.
Aw yeah!Seeing how red Leonard's torso was was horrible and I just wanted him to beat the crap outta Sheldon.
@Christopher Bingham Irresponsible?! It was a fucking dvd. If you think that's worth being treated that way, you're vile.
He would have gotten it off sooner but Howard butted in and made it worse
@@Cloud4012 agreed
Yes yes yes
No friends no matter how loyal and understanding would ever put up with sheldon that long
Leonard: When did we get a wall safe?
Sheldon: When there was no more room in the floor safe.
Leonard: When did we get a floor safe?
Sheldon: When we got the security camera.
Leonard: There’s a security camera???
Sheldon: Aquaman, protecting your home since 2012.
Penny: Oh my god, we’ve done things on that couch.
Sheldon: Yeah, you don’t have to tell me.
@Christopher Bingham as if installing a security camera in someone’s home without their knowledge or consent is nothing to be blamed for
@Christopher Bingham this home belongs to both of them, not just to Sheldon. When you live with a partner, it’s not polite to make such changes like installing a security camera without said partner’s knowledge or consent.
The only case in which this action is defendable is if you live alone, which Sheldon doesn’t.
The security camera isn’t that big of a deal, but he should have told Leonard. In fact, he was contractually required to tell Leonard about the safes, as specified by the roommate agreement about adding furniture.
Yeah, this should be on the list! A complete invation of privacy of both parties.
Sheldon went Big Brother with that one.
I’m surprised that it took until, season 12 for Leonard to slap Sheldon.
Ohhhh, but was the wait SOOOOO worth it! 🥴😁😁😁
Me too!
And let's be honest, that slap should have been a punch.
It was an absolutely hilarious moment when it happened though.
As a solid TBBT fan now, I like all the main characters. Sheldon has many scenes where he is annoying. But he has such strong redeeming characteristics that he is still watchable.
Whereas in The Office (US) I find myself hating the Michael character the more times I watch the show. I find him annoying with very few redeeming characteristics.
He should have slapped Sheldon more times than Marshall did Barney.
When he made Leonard get a rash in that itchy sweater having paid for the DVD. Amazing
Leaving raj in the underground with rats and Leonard's itchy sweater was brutal. Felt so bad for them.
@Francisco Leyva Martin yes it was what are you going on about
@Francisco Leyva Martin not no it’s yes
I always hated that Sheldon didn’t support Leonard when he was so excited to present their research to a whole bunch of other scientists. Like just because you don’t want to do it doesn’t mean you should deprive your partner of doing it. It was just as much Leonard’s research as it was Sheldon’s
There is actually an exclamation of why he didn't want that to happen in young Sheldon
@@hazelcawan9143young Sheldon isn’t canon. Nor does it matter. Sheldon’s behavior shouldn’t be excused away
I'm truly impressed that Leonard never punched Sheldon.
He finally got to slap him
I am more impressed the rest of his friends didn't punch sheldon as well
But he did slap him .
Im punching him whenever he does something stupid.
If Sheldon was a real person. He would been beaten up so many times.
He probably would have been killed
@@jackhorton9615 and all of that would have been well-deserved.
I don’t know how Amy managed to put up with this for 10 seasons. Also I think what should’ve been mentioned was when he broke into Penny’s apartment to clean it and when he feuded with Howard over a parking space despite not knowing how to drive and not owning a car in the first place, also when he insulted Leonard and Penny’s relationship and acting like his relationship with Amy was superior to any other couple should’ve been mentioned
Actually, Sheldon and Amy were together for 9 seasons. But I agree about trying to steal Howard’s parking space. How did they not get arrested for changing the name on it?
oh yeah the cleaning was weird and the howard parking spot was annoying especially when Amy and bernadette got involved
Because Amy is obnoxious too.
She's annoying to be honest.
He wasn’t really being mean when he cleaned pennys apartment
My theory is that Amy puts up with it for two reason. 1. She has such low self esteem she’ll except Sheldon for the monster he is. 2. The more likely, after about 3 years a tumor developed in her brain from having to deal with Sheldon so much that it altered her personality so that the part of her brain that realizes abuse has been destroyed by said tumor.
Sheldon Cooper: I’m not crazy. My mother had me tested.
Me: Really, because that list says otherwise?
I think who did said no to get rid of him.
@Christopher Bingham he can be if you get mad enough as he once got freaked out at howard when he barged in and sheldon got scared like he was about to die if they all stood up to him and stuff he would get scared
He should have been tested for Narcissistic Personality Disorder, IMO
Well Sheldon, clearly you cheated.
Honestly, the others should have just admitted Sheldon to a mental asylum.
Him keeping Amy's gift really pissed me off
Also when he's going to buy Leonard a welcome home gift from Stuart's store, he's going to keep the Aqua-man figurine for himself.
@Francisco Leyva Martin he was supposed to give it to Amy instead kept it he is a ass
I know and it shows that he has no respect for Amy's interests. Sheldon dismisses the first two gifts, which were really good, because they don't interest HIM. Then, when he finds a gift both him and Amy like, he calls dibs on it. In the end, it's Amy who has to compromise for Sheldon and Sheldon learns nothing. Yep, boyfriend of the year right here and I mean that sarcastically.
Yeah and it's infuriating that he bragged about it and seemed to consider himself to be a great boyfriend when he's one of the most insulting and least thoughtful boyfriends I've seen in a sitcom, I hated how he treated Alex and how he expected her to buy Amy's gifts like they were in the 1950s or something and he didn't even care enough to get them himself and didn't even care about Amy's interests, just about what he liked, his happiness and how he'd look.
@@heatherstephenson3559 cause he thinks he’s great refusing to see his flaws or just does not care and treats others as crap as they are not smart like him save for his grandma and some extent his mother
As an autistic myself, even I get appalled by some of Sheldon's behavior. Like I get he doesn't understand social cues and certain boundaries but even I wouldn't do any of what he does.
Only it’s not known he is that
@@skeletonwarrior1546 true
I’m autistic too! And although I liked this show, this has to be the LEAST realistic portrayal of it!
What Sheldon is makes me blood boil!
@@cameronmcewen9666 likewise
sheldon is a real hypocrite
bigger Hypocrite than I am, anyway!
I think the worst thing Sheldon ever did was make his "friendship" contingent on if Leonard SERVED him or not. Happened time and time again. Do what he wants, or hes not your friend. Not much of a friendship.
Sheldon is a problematic character, but there are some points I actually agree with him on. The whole Leonard and Priya thing may not have been nice, but Priya was intentionally making him uncomfortable in their shared apartment, and Leonard did not care. If they wanted some private time, Priya could have used her fancy lawyer money and shtupped Leonard in a hotel. She ended up shtupping someone else anyway!
Priya functioned in the show to make Penny jealous and move the story along. Priya gave Leonard an ultimatum about Penny, gave him a new wardrobe to transform him like a Ken doll, but was not committed enough to tell her parents about them. I've been through this with someone, and it totally hurts.
Well priya gives him his own medicine and that's pretty pleasing to see
While true, Sheldon's intentions weren't about showing Leonard the problematicness of his relationship
Sheldons whole “agreement” makes everyone a servant to him and makes everyone else uncomfortable.
Sheldon might be the show's breakout character, but people wouldn't find him very entertaining if they had to put up with him in real life. Honestly, we all must be sadists if we find his mistreatment of others fun to watch.
There are a lot of characters we find entertaining on TV but wouldn't want to hang out with them in real life. House, Sherlock, Harley Quinn, Homelander, but the reason we like, or love to hate these characters is because we enjoy watching them on screen.
i actually cant stand half the stuff he does. it makes the show hard to watch so i sometimes just turn off my tv.
The North Pole trip had shown that Leonard, Raj and Howard had a plan to kill Sheldon if they didn't find an alternative.
I guarantee you in real life someone would murder him
I still can't comprehend people remaining his friend lol
I would agree with all of these but number six. I could not stand Priya, so it tickled me to death that he got her back. End it did the audience also, because they cheered as he walked off.
yesss 👏🏽 👏🏽 👏🏽
Sheldon gets a pass about the whole Priya thing in my book. She's an abusive manipulator to Leonard and Sheldon's blackmail was essentially outing her on how little she's actually willing to commit to their relationship.
-
Yeah, Priya's tactic of pointing out how out of date and absurd the RA was is valid, but there were plenty of points where she and Leonard do stuff they don't even like just to rub Sheldon's face in it. If they had just done a couple things to show Sheldon how pointless his RA was and offered to come up with a more equal, less insane one to replace it, that'd be a different story
I’m not for or against Priya as a character but I have to point out the cultural relevance the show actually somewhat adhered to. In the Indian culture you do not date and introduce them to your parents until you’re ready to get engaged and married to someone. So Priya not telling her parents about a man who hadn’t proposed to her is not an unwillingness to commit to Leonard. Cases could be made for her other actions but not this imho :)
How about the time Sheldon hacked into his friends' laptop and transfer all the bitcoin they mined and saved it into Leonard's pendrive. Leonard ended up lost the pendrive, all those money just gone. Haha, the pain...
@Christopher Bingham Haha, but pen drives are easily lost actually.
#8 should’ve been an episode of its own, I really wanna know how he dealt with Sheldon 🤣
@Christopher Bingham we didn’t see it all, we saw the aftermath, I meant like how he reacted to Sheldon’s quirks
I think it's funnier this way. We don't know what happened but we assumed it must've been bad because of "Die Sheldon Die" written on the wall. It's sort of like how we never see Maris on Frasier but hear all about how skinny and evil she is.
I felt sorry for Leanord in the episode where he has to wear the red itchy sweater.
I also didn't like his reaction to Penny's pregnancy... 🥺
Agreed, it's even worse when you realise that Sheldon paid for the DVD all along, but put Leonard through hell with the itchy sweater for no reason than to mess around with him.

Was the one for me..Sheldon can be a sinister character
Number six doesn't count. Priya was being an asshole to Sheldon while she was a guest in his home, all he did was give her a taste of her own medicine.
Totally. Completely. Agree. And it was a wake up call that Leonard needed.
She was standing up for her boyfriend because Sheldon was behaving like a tool and making life horrible for Leonard in the apartment.
he not right 👉
Yes, she was wrong to hog the bathroom with leonard
See, this is why I wasn’t moved by his speech in the finale. He knows what he does is wrong, he just doesn’t care.
I honestly can't stand Sheldon. I tried but whenever he belittles his friends and other people. And when he tries to always be right regardless of who it is that he is doing it too. Especially when he does it to Amy.
I agree 100% he is always right has to get his way or he will make everyone miserable
@@johnboehmer8604 exactly it’s exhausting to watch. I feel bad for everyone in the show. They all deserve a medal and an award for tolerating Sheldon
I know someone like Sheldon, his names James he will say stuff that is rude and offensive, if he doesn’t get his way he will make peoples life hell and try to make people feel bad for it. He can’t see past his own hardheaded view point, the only difference is someone actually punched him for saying something.
If he was even remotely like Sheldon, he 100% deserved to get punched. I hope it was REALLY hard
@@ryanwiuff2374 he was out for a few minutes so I guess.
I think an honorable mention should go to all the times he "double-checked" that Leonard did something right. Is the tea x-amount hot, etc? Did you pick up the 17 things that I ask about every time we have Asian food? (Do they seriously not have a partially used bottle of the low-sodium soy sauce, etc?)
I’m so thankful that when I get sick, unlike Sheldon, I’m not a jerk. For example, when I had really bad cramps and my parents were on vacation, my best friend took good care of me by getting soup, crackers and ginger ale. I feel like I should have gotten her a “Thank You” card but I forgot. Is it too late to do that now?
No it's never too late to express gratitude.
Thank you, Tracy. I’ll try to find a nice “Thank You” card next time I go shopping.
Despite sheldon being my favorite (along with raj) in the main cast, he has done some pretty terrible things. The worst thing he had done was the itchy sweater, but no#6 shouldn't be on the list though. Priya was a big pain and I see why he went through with it
Agreed, I loved Raj and Sheldon and always felt bad for them. Yes Sheldon did plenty of horrible things and was incredibly narcissistic, he did some good though and had one of the biggest character arcs in the show, to go from having a regular routine, certainty on his chosen field of science, roommate in Leonard, no girlfriend to suddenly being married, choosing a different field of study, moving across the hall and making various other changes in his life, he made some of the biggest progress.
I never liked Priya, she wasn’t as kind as Raj and the itchy sweater and spoiling Harry Potter are top of my list.
@Christopher Bingham I get why but it’s still cruel when Leonard has allergies, I get that. Don’t ever say to a Harry Potter fan you can’t spoil it, obvi now it’s different but considering Leonard hadn’t read the book yet that was a major spoiler.
You know how Leonard threw the roommate agreement in the bin when that happened? Honestly, if I were him, I’d have straight up BURNED it!
Sheldon is the epitome of Insufferable Genius
Indeed, I believe he's the current page image on TV Tropes! 😂
@Francisco Leyva Martin he is a jerk

@Francisco Leyva Martin you mean actual genius right? not phd kinda genius?
@Francisco Leyva Martin i mean... there are knowledgeable and actual genius (creative kind)
for both of our understanding... can you tell me whats the different between knowledgeable and smart people?
Though an honorable mention the time that Penny made breakfast the first time she stayed over and because that day was not a pancake, or maybe French Toast, day he simply threw it away wasting food
Yeah, I really don't like how he treats Penny so much of the time when she was loyal and understanding with him as he shames her for the number of people she's been with, continually insults her intelligence (like they all do to her but he's the worst) and the ep where he tried to 'train' her was so insulting and controlling, I can't even believe it.
@@heatherstephenson3559 And when he decides to try to teach her physics, doesn't he start a file and label it something to do with gorillas.
Ikr, he was so insulting and disrespectful to her and even when he was slightly better in that ep, he still used it as way to insult Leonard's work and cause a rift between Penny and Leonard because he's the worst.
@Christopher Bingham When did he throw Missy's stereo out the window?
Yeah, my mom got really angry about that. She hates wasting food.
I can't watch the itchy sweater episode. It's so uncomfortable..especially when Leonard finally takes it off to reveal his red, swollen chest and belly. I just can't 😂
What's worse is that I read somewhere that wearing that sweater for too long could've sent Leonard to the ER, so Sheldon basically put Leonard in mortal danger just to "prove a point."
@Christopher Bingham yeah his aunt hates him
I remember Sheldon not saying sorry to the new boss. He got fired and now his mom has to take matters into her own hands.
7:34 YOU USED MY TOOTHBRUSH?!
13:21 You take that back.
The thing with the sweater should be on this list. The fact that it was deliberate made it one of the more awesome things that Sheldon has ever done. Plus, Leonard brought it on himself as Penny and Howard pointed out.
I could never ever be someone who could be friends with sheldon
Respect to the gang
I hated this character deep.
If I could kill him I'll do it with no hesitation.

Only 10, huh?
Flip 2 and 1. Simply because his thoughtless insults are the worst things he's done
I blame mrs.Cooper for Sheldon behaviour. She coddled him too much.
As a child, yes. As an adult, she's the one person who can control him.
Sheldon is egotistical, arrogant, entitled and selfish. I thoroughly hated that character from the first episode to the last.
So hating tam over nothing isn’t even mentioned?
What about insulting mrs Davis
@Christopher Bingham oh yeah
I can totally understand the pregnancy thing. If you don't like children a pregnancy isn't seen as a positive even if the other person wants it. I don't remember this exact situation but if it comes out of nowhere it's more of a shock for a person like Sheldon.
🤡
@Christopher Bingham You missed the point. Sheldon was being inconsiderate.
@@christopherbingham5092 He could of at least say "I thought you didn't want kids."
@Jeruben Rianvel He did say that, but Leonard was right that it might have occurred to him that maybe Penny changed her mind.
His worst crime is ... existing. He's a monster
This list could have been longer.
1000s long
@Francisco Leyva Martin not no it’s yes
Yeah, but then the video would never end.
Honestly Jim Parsons does such a bang up job at making me hate a character lol 😂
That just shows how amazing his acting is
I am intrigued to know what caused Sheldon’s previous roommate to leave. I think how he was rude to Penny about her pregnancy should be number one!
What about Itchy sweater torture
8:28 the laugh that always kills me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I think one of the most annoying things Sheldon has done is the episode of Leonard going to Switzerland on Valentine's Day that was supposed to be Penny. Like COME ON SHELDON!! Shut up and let it go!!!! It's Valentine's Day!! Going to Switzerland is romantic.
next: top 10 worst things to happen to leonard
Honestly, I’d like to see a top ten list of the worst Leonard has done.
I think leonard puts up with sheldon and thats why he didnt leave like Sebastian
I think leonard puts up with sheldon because he had similar experience with his mother
I loved watching Howard torment Sheldon like with the dress
@Francisco Leyva Martin screw that nobel prize and screw him
You know the irony here is that despite how much the characters and fans all complain about Sheldon, you realise that if it weren’t for Sheldon and if he didn’t exist, there would be no show - The Big Bang Theory would have flopped; Sheldon made the show and was a big part of what made it what it was and still is to all us fans.
At the same time, despite how much everyone complained about Sheldon, the fact was that they also couldn’t see or picture their lives with him not being in them. Amy also even highlighted this in The Cooper Extraction episode of season 7 where she pointed out how if it weren’t for Sheldon they all wouldn’t be friends and have their relationships.
Yeah
I came to that realization about South Park and Eric Cartman I don't understand how Eric Cartman gets a pass but Sheldon gets a bunch of complaints? I sometimes wonder what would happen if these characters were written out of the show even if it's just for one episode it would probably be total chaos coming to the realization just made things worse for me because as much as I hate Eric Cartman there wouldn't be a show without him it's probably the same way with Big bang theory
@Christopher Bingham
Thank you!
And as I said, why is it just Sheldon who was called out nearly all the time and definitely more than everybody else; there should be a top ten list or longer for nearly all the other characters for how awful they were and how they all did awful things to each other and even to Sheldon that were worse than they said he’d done to them or things he’d never even done to them.
In fact, most of the time when it came to how awful, mean and obnoxious Penny was, Sheldon was pretty much the only one to ever call her out and stand up to her, especially against Leonard, Sheldon always pointed out to him how bad she was and had the common sense and the backbone Leonard lacked to say all that Leonard never said to her which he should have.
And Leonard pretty much almost never even thanked or appreciated him for that and why? Because he cared more about Penny and getting in bed with her than he did his own friends.
And yet, they all still believed that they were better than Sheldon or above him.
Good list. But I think this should be titled Top 10 Worst Things Sheldon's Done To His Friends. Now we need Top 10 Worst Things Sheldon's Done to the Community.
That would be an hour long
How about when Sheldon not only complained about having to go to Amy's grandma's (I think it was her grandma, can't remember) birthday party, but abandoned Amy to go by herself so he could play Star Wars: The Old Republic? Though Leonard, Howard and Raj are equally at fault for that, since neither one of them even suggested that, if Sheldon couldn't go that weekend, they could just postpone their gaming marathon to next weekend.
@Christopher Bingham I'm not saying that video games are bad. Honestly, I love video games too. I even have my own gaming blog but that's not the point. The point is that Sheldon already made an obligation to go to Amy's party and, when you have an obligation, it doesn't matter if something better comes up. That's what you have to do out of respect for the people you made the obligation for. Also, when you make plans with your friend and you find out that they already have an obligation to someone else before you brought up your plans, you postpone the plans for later. So all of the guys were at fault for this, not just Sheldon. For example, tonight I am looking forward to the season premiere of The Boys. However, suppose that I had an obligation to go somewhere with my SO. Despite how much I am looking forward to watching The Boys, I would go with my SO and postpone watching it until I get back. The show's not going anywhere and would still be there for me to watch. Just like Star Wars: The Old Republic wasn't going anywhere and would still be there next weekend. That game is still around today and I know that because I have an account for it.
Says right to spit out right away after hearing what's in that flavor of snow cone!
Sheldon secretly uploading Leonard’s , raj’s and Howard’s bitcoin to a usb stick should be an honourable mention. I know he meant well, but you can’t just transfer a lot of money (to a not so safe place) without the actual owner knowing
@Christopher Bingham he didn’t know what was on there, if he did he might have been more careful, or put it somewhere where you don’t carry it around all day
@@esmeehabraken yep
Are you kidding? He didn’t mean well.
@Christopher Bingham and here you are again MY LORD
Seriously, this show should have been called “Everybody hates Sheldon.”
Where's the time he trained Penny like a dog that should have at least been an honorable mention
@Christopher Bingham I wasn't aware that treating a person like an animal was a good thing
@Christopher Bingham I know that I just couldn't think of another way to say that Sheldon shouldn't of trained Penny like a dog
I agree, that was absolutely demeaning and it showed how little respect he had for her as a friend and as a person.
@@suburbantimewaster9620 yep
@@IWishICouldThinkOfAGoodHandle I’ve been rewatching some episodes and, honestly, the guys don’t really act like good friends to Penny. Besides Sheldon demeaning her, Howard harassed her and, when Penny finally stood up to her, Leonard, instead of taking Penny’s side, made Penny apologize and used him getting her TV back from her ex as leverage.
I’m surprised Sheldon wasn’t punched more in the show. If I had Sheldon as a friend I probably would have killed him 😂😂😂😂
He probably thought he made up for it all with that sentence in his Nobel speech. "I apologize if I haven't been the friend you deserve BUT IN MY WAY I love you all." He's still justifying his behavior. Classic narcissist!
No. That could have been true but in this particular case, Sheldon being autistic makes his behavior much more understandable. If you watched the beginning of Young Sheldon, you would have seen that while Sheldon is (clearly) a prodigy, HE DOESN’T UNDERSTAND HUMAN BEHAVIOR OR SOCIAL INTERACTION. (There’s an episode where Sheldon and his sister are tested in various ways on the weekends for cash.) Sheldon still has this problem as an adult and it only changes a bit in the latter yrs when he’s with Amy for long enough for her to train him to not say certain things or to shut up at certain moments. That’s not to say that she’s taught him true empathy - you either have that or you don’t - but he is aware of the issue. When he phrases his speech in that manner, he’s actually being more truthful then ever bc he’s making it clear to his friends that he not only loves them but that he recognizes that he shows that love in a different manner than most other people.
That speech won’t change who Sheldon is as a person. It might make him recognize - to a greater degree - that he’s being rude or insensitive to others OR that other people are trying to relay something important to him; but there’s only so far that Sheldon can grow (or, at least, it takes a while for him to change).
I am extremely familiar w the concept of narcissism bc one of my sisters is, indeed, a total narcissist and can somehow make anything all about her. Sheldon can be selfish and self centered but he is not a narcissist and even when the show ended, he still had that childlike innocence around him bc to some extent, he still thinks and interacts like a child.
While I have yet to see the second half of this season’s episodes of YS, I can say that the prequel the writers are giving Sheldon show that he would DEFINITELY have done better if there had been a way for Sheldon to go to school (college) w other young prodigies rather than w teens at least 7 years his elder. Or if he had gone to “high school” w the same in order to interact w other young children w the same intellectual abilities. (Of course, that is JMO.)
Yeah, his speech was kinda overrated and a lot of what he said was too little too late and the fact that he didn't even listen to Amy's speech is so rude and even if all the main men are douchebags, the fact that he said 'if' I've not been a good friend was kinda frustrating rather than actually improving and apologising.
That's my Shelly
You blackmail your roommates girlfriend 🤣🤗
sheldon deserves all mortal kombat fatalities on him
I'm gonna absolutely have to disagree with the final episode one. To this day, I still can't watch it and it was a bad ending. They put up with Sheldon's shit every day of their life. The one day he has every right to be self centered (they won a freaking Nobel prize!!!) they suddenly can't take it anymore. Penny was the only one who was like: "Well, yeah. That's Sheldon."' And Howard and Bernadette wanting to go home to their children, even though it would take them days to get back there, was just dumb. If they had thought of that before they left, fine. But they were already there. The final two episodes are cringe worthy. And then Sheldon having his "moment of clarity" during his speech is extremely American, like see how emotional we can make this. The Nobel acceptance should not be about your friends, but about your accomplishment.
Interestingly, I dislike the finale for very different reasons, as I was super frustrated that he still got the prize and that everyone came back for the speech before they knew what he was going to say, as he did NOT deserve to get everything he wanted and the fact that he didn't even listen to Amy's speech is so disrespectful, I can't even tell you. All the men in the show are jerks but Sheldon's definitely the worst and the speech didn't feel satisfying as he didn't have to lose or sacrifice anything. It angers me even more now that I've seen the Brooklyn 99 finale with the kindest and most feminist white sitcom man, Jake, giving up his whole career (I get why but it's still bittersweet) while the others get to have careers and families and getting the cruel coma trick done to him despite his generosity, selflessness and sweetness.
Yeah, I know the shows are different with regard to their handling of sexism and many issues but now that I've seen both series and finales, they seem to highlight the unfair nature of things as it feels extra unfair that Sheldon got to have everything and got away with extreme narcissism and self-absorption and misogyny but that Jake had to give up so much even after going through a lot, including the cruel heist tricks and being so kind, selfless and feminist as he deserved a totally happy ending whereas it's about time that Sheldon had to go without something or sacrifice/lose out as he complained continuously and never took responsibility even at his cruellest, most thoughtless moments as they got exciting opportunities and met celebs all the time on TBBT but in B99, Jake lost out and sacrificed his job, despite being the loveliest sitcom man who supported and prioritised the dreams of his loved ones (unlike the TBBT men) and didn't even get to meet Bruce Willis once. The fact that Sheldon's so dismissive of Amy's field and got her removed from her own project and insulted her so often and then had to consider whether or not to exclude her isn't the best sign and if he had actually lost the prize, he would have probably blamed and resented her and tried everything to get it without caring if he hurt anyone else. I know that he was awful again in the finale to try and give the final speech a bigger impact, but he was just a super selfish, egotistical, rude jerk so his happy ending doesn't feel earned and it's frustrating that they came back anyway, not knowing what he was going to say, meaning that he gets everything he wants without deserving it. I also still can't get over him being controlling with Amy's looks and not even listening to her speech or showing any interest in her dress but expecting her to listen to him speak for 90 mins, I mean, the level of disrespect is unreal.
Apologies for this as you seem to be a big Sheldon fan, but I don't think it can be denied how sexist he was at numerous points throughout the show with how he spoke to/about Leslie, Alex and Mrs Davis and how he spoke about periods and fertility and harmful stereotypes and put women down specifically for being women, as well as how he spoke to Penny and Amy and on 'Fun with flags'. He also complained constantly and blamed others for his selfish actions and mistreatment of others as he thinks he's above everyone and everything. When they're doing their speeches at the very end, it's specifically stated that he wasn't listening to her and even that he was paying so little attention that he didn't even know if she was still talking or not and if that's not disrespect, I don't know what is. He also didn't want to see her dress but tried to control her looks (with makeup in an earlier season) but expected her to listen to him talk for over an hour. He also repeatedly dismissed Amy's achievements and success and didn't respect her or her accomplishments and even when it was trying to show some growth, he still insulted her and couldn't just be happy for her, even though they both got to go on Will Wheaton's show and Amy spoke about Sheldon loads in her interview but he still complained in the S12 paintball ep.
I've got one that I think is the worst: Taking Leonard's app idea and making it all about himself, then re-doing it after being put back on the team.
The worst Sheldon thing I know of would be the day he threatened Priya
I think Sheldon's Princess Panjali story told to Raj's lady-friend Lakshmi deserved a mention - going off with a friend's (sort of) girlfriend is not good behaviour.
Episode 15 of series 6, with the two huge Harry Potter spoilers, got me reading the HP books.
Cleaning up pennys apartment by trespassing
The sweater, how cruel it is, has a solid point.
This is how people with those kinds of "ticks" feel on the inside.
Out of all the episodes he has done, the pregnancy episode is the one that stands out. He’s a jerk, even though he never means to, he’s rude and never considered other peoples feelings.
@Christopher Bingham I thought George was going to lose his job anyway.
@Christopher Bingham my G you are in everyone's frigging comment omg Sheldon really resonates with you doesn't he? XD XD XD
What about all his rampant misogyny, sexism, and sexual harassment?
@Christopher Bingham How about episode 12 of season 6: "The Egg Salad Equivalency" Sheldon decides to "give a talking too" his female assistant Alex. When she asks what's wrong he says, "Oh, you poor dear. Your ovaries are squirting so much goofy juice into your brains you don’t even know which way is up." Implying that she confused and incompetent because she is a woman. Which is sexist. He then echo's his father's own misogyny by quoting this gem from him: "a woman is like an egg salad sandwich on a warm Texas day. Full of eggs and only appealing for a short time." A belief that women's worth is tied entirely to their appearance and having kids. Again sexist and misogynistic. A belief that he further reinforces by stating that as a woman she is "you’re a slave to your desire to reproduce." Again stating the belief that she is inherently inferior because she is a woman and women's purpose is making babies. Sexist. He then tells her look at that she should try to control herself by looking at pictures of the genitals of people with STI's, "When you feel possessed by amorous intent, may I suggest that you suppress it by leafing through this illustrated book of sexually transmitted diseases?" He then proceeds to SHOW her at least one such photo completely prompted by her. Now let's not forget that most of this is done AFTER she explicitly tells him that it's making her uncomfortable which makes the entire thing sexual harassment. Then when he is called into HR after Alex files a complaint he tells the HR lady, "I led her away from a life of sexual promiscuity by making her look at pictures of disease-ridden genitalia." Both confessing to sexual harassment by ordering/forcing her to look at diseased genital against her will but reiterating the sexist/misogynistic belief that women are inherently inferior by insinuating that without his help she would be nothing more than a slut. When called out by HR for his clearly inappropriate behavior he says, "I meant that all women are slaves to their biological urges." Yet again stating the belief that women are inherently inferior because men aren't slaves.
Yeah, I honestly don't know why anyone would try to deny that he's misogynistic (and racist) when so many of his lines are hateful, offensive stereotypes or statements filled with so much pure sexism. The way he that treated Mrs Davies and Alex (and quite often Amy and Penny) was appalling and disgusting.
@@katpocalypsemeow4554 And Leslie already thought he was sexist.
Fun Fact: Sebastian was played by Steven Yeun
So he can handle walkers but not Sheldon? LOL!
Oh i love BBT
the spoiler alert should of been higher, considering how many times sheldon explained himself of how much he hates spoilers but loves to spoiler shows, books, comets etc... its not a one time thing its thought out the whole show. that bugged the hell out of me, i would of thrown hands with sheldon for that sht
For me the worst thing on this list was the red sweater, diabolical. However, when he made his assistant look at STD pictures and the whole episode was just misogyny or when he gave the Roots discs to Janine were pretty horrible
@Christopher Bingham I used diabolical on purpose because of Amy, thank you for noticing. You can say Sheldon didn't mean to be mean with everything that he does. After all he only put bugs in Leonard's food as an experiment. 🤷♀️
Sheldon can be very diabolical
What do you mean “can” be?
The episode where he blackmailed Priya and Leonard because Priya exploited loopholes in his stupid contract is solid proof that Sheldon is nothing but a spoiled brat. If things aren't his way, he lashes out like a baby.
The more Sheldon opens his mouth, the more i wonder why anyone even wants to be friends with him in the first place.
Mistreating Amy should have been in the top 5.
Yeah, I'm with you there, there are just so many instances of him mistreating her and being inconsiderate and putting her down that the video would never end if it referenced every time he disrespected her or did something unforgivably bad.
The real evil that Sheldon has done is the spoiler alert , spoilers are evil
You forgot that sheldon keep changing the roommate agreement.
Behinds leonard back. So, He can control leonard actions or something.
Forgot what episode that.
I
0:16 I wonder who told sheldon that or if that's something he told himself and 1:15 he gives alex 2 grand and he doesn't know what amy likes
Honestly, throughout the entirety of the series, they should have had 1 friend to hang out with them who had the same problems with being socially awkward but with enough sense to do the 1 thing that would get Sheldon to think about his actions and words. They needed a friend who would consistently slap Sheldon upside the head whenever he says or does something inconsiderate.
@Francisco Leyva Martin it doesn’t change the fact that the bad things far outweigh the good things, especially with Howard. When he’s given any form of authority, he lords it over everyone else. Sheldon is not a leader.
@Francisco Leyva Martin a leader is someone who inspires people to do and be better. Most of the time all Sheldon inspires is the desire to end his life. He took up the position as a professor in the university and the moment that he was given any form of teaching, he throws it in the students’ face and belittles them. If he’s in a position of power, he pushes any form of manual labor onto someone else, usually Leonard. Sheldon is just a man child who has no true appreciation for how much everyone puts up with him.
Howard stated it himself, if Sheldon were to put in the effort to be a good teacher, then he’s willing to work with him as a student.
@Francisco Leyva Martin alphas don’t exist, Sheldon is rude to everyone around him. He needs to learn to appreciate everyone around him or he won’t have anyone left.
@Francisco Leyva Martin there are no alpha males when it comes to humans. Sheldon is not a leader because all he cares about is his own needs and desires, he almost never considers everyone else’s needs unless they’re life threatening, and even then, he would never put himself at risk to save any of them.
Sheldon has gotten himself incarcerated because of his attitude.
He claims to be an adult yet essentially throws tantrums when things don’t go his way. He uses shampoo for children because he doesn’t know how to keep it from getting into his eyes. He is not an adult, just a man child.
How about where sheldon gets what he deserves bad things
The worst thing Sheldon did, was exist. Also living with Penny and Leonard when they were married.
The Bitcoin Lesson. Fun With Flags, Amy and the Czeck Republic. Destroying Howar's security clearance. Drunk award speech.
@Christopher Bingham As usual it isn't Sheldon's fault. Bazinga.
Yeah, I couldn't stand the way he talked about Amy after the break up, it was so hateful, dehumanising and misogynistic as well as being insulting and invasive with how he implied that her only worth/value stemmed from motherhood/fertility, that was so messed up.
This is probably why Sheldon's family (Save for his mother) almost never visits him, his Twin Sister only visited once and one appearance in his wedding, he shut his brother off until their reconstitution, meemaw just once to confront Amy (sort of).
It's been said he is one lab accident away from being a supervillain
99% of what sheldon does is awful
I saved the blackmail to Priya, she manipulated Leonard, she felt ashamed to tell her parents that she was dating him and was making everyone leave Penny aside
I'm sorry but she deserved it
Poor Leonard
He kind of brings it on himself for always staying with him he should punch him and leave
@Christopher Bingham he might have never even tried to make the bomb
Sorry, but you missed his worst moment.. his worst moment was when he made Leonard and Penny's wedding day all about himself by showing up uninvited to the live feed and harrasing Amy about where they were in their relationship.. the guy couldn't shut up for the maybe 2 minutes it would have took to see his best friend get married and caused everyone else to miss it too. Nothing about that scene was funny.. and the forced laugh track makes it even worse.
Sheldon being Sheldon is the worst
to be fair when sheldon does treat penny badly its because she intentionally pisses him off
Don’t forget everything that he did in young Sheldon when he decides to be a bully to to Georgie and the father didn’t even know,
In young Sheldon though his whole family sets him straight,
My favorite is when Georgie sets him straight,
Have you seen the finale of the 5 season of season and when Sheldon couldn’t do his homework because of his family bickering about Georgie having a baby I think that’s when it started about Sheldon shouting his brother out from his life,
Hope you don’t mind but this storyline will be awesome for days of our life’s for Lucas and my new character miles Jr Horton ,
Bill Horton had an afair with miles mother and gave mile’s away when he was just born at a foster care,it’s not a comedy it’s a drama,
First of all Christopher would you like to have someone that likes to be smarter then everybody including you,?
Sheldon likes to be smarter then everybody nobody would like that,
That what I call a bully
@Christopher Bingham so what I mean come on don’t you remember on the Big Bang theory when he got sick for the first time on the show?
And everybody left
Gee I wonder why everybody left
Think about it man,
Sheldon may be scientist
He can never be smarter then anybody I could give him wwe wrestling quiz I know he will fail haha
I would hate to have a person like Sheldon in my live
