Really appreciate the effort Jiri puts into speaking English when it clearly doesn't come naturally to him, so many fighters just depend on a translator but it's so important in connecting with an international audience.
Important for who? Paulo costa and plenty of other fighters learned English and still get paid dogshit money. There’s absolutely no huge reason for them to learn English

Jiri is a top class act, people may make fun of the samurai aspect (which is total bs, he is living the warriors life according to a samurai, he is a LEGIT samurai) but giving up the belt really told you everything you ever needed to know about him.
I pray he continues to gift us his presence in the octagon, we do not deserve it. But we need it.

Sayif has to be one of the best, if not the best, MMA strategist/analyst in the game. Also, such a great communicator! This man's a gem in the sport. Can't believe he's not getting more exposure, or has only recently started to get more attention by MMA media.

I was hyped for the brazil card soley because i thought we were going to have a london/paris/dublin type atmosphere. Not even close. Safe to say they aint on par not even close. And another thing,if leon looses to usman in london , we aint leaving our guy in an empty stadium.

Just to bring in some context , imo the main reason that the crowd was so numb was the whole tv deal change in brazil . Here Globo is just so much bigger than other channels and now that the ufc left globo for the UFC fight pass format Globo simply did not promote the event , so most of brazil mma audience didnt even know the event was happening in Rio . The audience in Rio was mainly rich ufc hardcore fans. PS: comparing those events to UFC paris is just not fair , Brazil is continental country so is not that easy to travel to rio just to watch the ufc.
Rockhold makes a tremendous point ..Dana is like the lion tamer who keeps the animals in cages and under fed and deals with them so the suits can run the big top tent and count all the money ..with Dana gone The circus will have to start feeding the lions ..and those lions are really hungry and they have been starving for a long time

Glover was better vs jiri. That fight clearly has deteriorated Glover's overall abilities plus his age. However jiri vs Jamal wud be a sweet dream. Whoever wins will hold the division for abit.
