2.5x damage for npcs AND the player. What a concept. Vanilla difficulty won't give you any extra damage unless you reduce the difficulty, and even then it's just giving npcs less health along with less damage. It's ironic somehow.

Nah, it was just a self imposed rule that when his current character dies he restarts a new one. The mods that let him have an alternate start from the basic game and the 2.5x damage ones helped keep it interesting, but the permadeath was just him quitting and starting a new game.
