  • Male is slimmer body and has the white breeding dots without the white dots you can tell the difference.
Female has no white dots and is much fatter than the male.
Also the female has bloob like on her vent and males will not have the bloob. The 2 were put back in a much bigger tank after the video was over

Return her back and get your money back. That happens a lot with fish from PetSmart. Most of time the fish that they get already come sick and a lot of personal who work at petsmart don't really know how tell if they are sick or not..

+seeyou414 they are very ignorant with most if not all of the animals. It seems as if they hire people just off them liking animals or saying they've had a pet once...I did so much research and I found out she was stressed. They said she could be housed with a oranda goldfish. Come to find out that wasn't a smart move. My son noticed nipping from my oranda on my shubunkin. My oranda literally nipped so much that it nipped the middle of her tail off. The oranda was being aggressive because it wanted dominance over the tank and the shubunkin was faster. Hence meaning my oranda only getting half of what it wanted when it came to food. I will do my research from now on and only purchase my fish from licensed sellers who are experienced and full of knowledge about every fish they own, instead of what's on the info tag on a tank.

How old are they now? and how long? I just gotten my shubunkins and they are about 3 1/2 inches. Their wonderful and very interesting pets and i learn something new about them everyday.
