I appreciate it.
Citizens have barely any purchasing power with the majority living in poverty but yet with high prices for basic goods.
I miss Lebanon 🇱🇧 so much❤ thank you very much for sharing this beautiful video
Them stairs was kicking your ahh this video bro 😂. Always an inspiration, man. Love, brother
So happy you came to our country! The dark sauce in that sauce was probably pomegranate sauce that we add to Fattouch salad (we call it "debs el remman" = "molasses of pomegranate"
Looks like was a good day! All the walking but stairs all over and is get for exploring. Loving the videos, full of info. Feels like we are there with you!
The white rubber represents a sign of someone young who died unfortunately. It is mainly done in towns in the mountains ⛰️
Excellent reporting! Love your style of reporting! You need to show us the Airbnb! Love to see the insides of the places
Yes indeed!
Great video! Thank you for sharing your view/ perspective as well as giving some tips for future travelers.
I really love your videos bro. Very clear and clean
Your videos are very relaxing to watch
Thanks for the video, the places you visited I wrote them down, wow those prices.
I live in the area and this guy is very accurate. bravo 👍👍
Just found your channel… amazing videos!! I’m from northwest Washington… stay safe out there 🤛🏼💯
Thank you Sly nice video
i loved the crystal museeum and the food looked so good
7:40 the sauce is called "dibes el remmen" its a pomegranate molasses. It is used frequently in salads and lahme b ajin and kebbeh to give a sour taste
Thanks for sharing
The dark sauce on the salad is pomegranate molasses. Awesome video! Thank you for sharing
Hi Sly, see if you can go to a Lebanese Wedding because there weddings are so beautiful!!!
Thank you, sir
Coll video bro keep up.
the salad you ate is called fatouch it's a traditional Lebanese salad if you are still in Lebanon you should also try the taboule
I see you back in that gym. My man!!!
I honestly thought the prices will be much higher 😅 for the gym 25$ per month is really good tbh. As for the restaurant $20 per person including salad, Appetizer, main meal, water and coffee is really cheap... 15$ at the grocerie shop for hummus, bread, cookies and box of apple juice is also reasonable. The Mangos are expensive true. But other than that all the mentioned prices seemed reasonable especially now that the whole world is in inflation, comparing these prices with other countries it's really cheap
The price on the mangoes was crazy work 😮lol
Dark sauce could be pomegranate, or sumac .. sounds overpriced
Probably both.
Yup, Bou Melhem in Sin el Fil is a little bit overpriced.
@@zackjohnson9204 expensive is a relative term. The comment is probably from someone who has a better idea of the usual cost in Lebanon for that dish.
also the sauce on the fatouch is lemon oil pomegranate molasses you should befriend a local if you are still here
The first thing I think of when I see minerals is comics too!
Beit Beirut Museum is open when there are exhibitions only for the current state, and you can visit the 1st floor exhibition on the forcibly lost and missing persons from the Lebanese Civil War on Thursdays-Fridays from 3:00 PM till 6:00 PM till next January
Or you can do the Green Line Walking Tour with me on Saturdays and you'd know the story of this museum and walk inside of it properly👌🏼
Good video, skinneys summer market is owned by English
Yo sly key to surviving steps, as I learned in Mexico, don't walk in a straight line, walk in a zig-zag, and you are done in no time.
you are in sin el fil area, everything therfe is expensive, by melhem restaurant is really good , my wife was teacher in the american center nearby, and the yellow building in front is the municipality of sin el fil you will be always welcome to go inside
he was over charged big time damn
Do you think they have a separate menu for some foreigners?

Can you use visa for Uber and restaurant? Or it must be cash?
All in the warzone lol my guy adventurous
What war zone? I DONT HEAR ANY ROCKETS FLYING OR BOMBARDEMENTS,
CARS ON THE STREETS LIKE NORMAL.
What you thought was soya sauce is probably pomegranate molasses :)
What bank do u use in USA for the atm fee reimbursement up to $20?
When I had lived in Lebanon for a short while, as an American with little exercise I had to walk up and down stairs constantly so I was winded out LOL but I got used to it hah😄
yeah, prices have changed the last year. just moved here - ill still take these prices over the states though lmao
The place you had lunch in is next to my house 😂
It is municipality of sin el fil so you can film it normally
50$ per month??? bro i am lebanese, i pay 15$ a month for my gym, and it's still expensive compared to others in my area
Did you paid in usd? Ive heared you should exchange your usd to local currency in black market. You will pay alot if you pay in usd.
Damn they charging more than planet fitness
Hi from Sénégal 😊 I'm mixed African n Lebanese origin however have never been to Lebanon but the start of your video I'm shocked to see so much trash around n this seems like a decent neighborhood 😂 i wonder what's next 😂
bro you should have contacted a guide
Always buy groceries that have price tag on it , never buy from small places they will scam u
👍🏾👍🏾
Beirut is beautiful. Can you please tell me how much you pay for the place you stay in. Can you also show me the place you live in your next video? Thanks. 🙏 11:53 12:52
Airbnb between 12 to 15 usd pre day
@@alix3610 many thanks Alixo🙏🙏🙏
You need to get a Schwab account. They reimburse all of your atm fees.
Not the uber taking the long way to charge more
white ribons it means someone near is deceased recently
I was there in 2021. The crisis was at its start back then and the prices were still nor catching up with inflation. The country was as cheap as Ukraine and the non-schengen balkans. Now the country is as overpriced as it used to be before 2019...
what markets did you go to? don't do that. There are grocery shops in every corner. Or you go to Spinney's, might be cheaper.
Lebanon is statistically the angriest country in the world so be careful bro 😂
It's expensive because most things on high standards.
White ribbon they put it when a young person or kid die , or if in muslim region they out as sort of decoration to welcome people coming from the HAJJ
Bro don't use dollar to pay , get dollars and exchange it to Lebanese lira via exchange stores not the bank because they will give u way less money , so u payed 18$ in dollars, if u used Lebanese pound it will be like 6$
Ahhhhh! Good advice!!
Dont forget to eat some hummus and kebabs too.
Do not pull out in lebanese lira they will charge you the official exchange rate.
THAT LOOK THOUGH 😂
Are you still here man?
Special set of skills for the guy in Germany...😁
if you need anything about lebanon ,i m lebanese you can ask me :)
Where are the most beautiful Cedar trees ))
@@RovexHD northern lebanon ,above bshare town ,i think you can also find in other regions
I think you just got robbed on those mangos.
where are the average salaries start from?
Probably around 200$
He got overcharged hard
Their currency is almost zero so
.......probably like 100 bucks a month or something, in dollars
@@demri123no.... the public sector's minumum wage is 400$ not including transportation and gasoline. As for the private sector its at 350-800$ + 100$ transportation.
Is it safe over there?
Unless you are shia or a mad mullah.
Yes
Great videos man. Just a little tip for you. If you want to buy something from market and you think it's expensive, just ask cashier. How much is it? He will check it for you then you have the choice to buy it or not.
Depends where you are wouldn't go close to Syria/Israel
Any place you see women walking alone at night, is safe. His prior videos show this.
Urban is so expensive 😭🤣
Brother don't tell me your using your USD cash in stores ? Exchange the cash for lira!! That's why you're getting extorted
You got rigged
Its ok fo food otherwise it's land of corruption and crimes ...... you name it !
What does lineage have to do with its current economy, infrastructure and development? 😂
@@UncleHoCMexcuse to be prejudiced.
The French colonized Lebanon yes, but did not mate with or replace the Lebanese people. So this is just untrue, the Lebanese people have west Asian ancestry, not European ancestry. Learn history
Beirut is a very poor city there is No proper system there is No proper public transport system it’s financially finished
bro I used to excrete juice and just drink until I found your channel and now it's night and day for me. I'm now in Uzbekistan with no gender surgery and it's all because you
