    So happy you came to our country! The dark sauce in that sauce was probably pomegranate sauce that we add to Fattouch salad (we call it "debs el remman" = "molasses of pomegranate"

    7:40 the sauce is called "dibes el remmen" its a pomegranate molasses. It is used frequently in salads and lahme b ajin and kebbeh to give a sour taste

    the salad you ate is called fatouch it's a traditional Lebanese salad if you are still in Lebanon you should also try the taboule

    I honestly thought the prices will be much higher 😅 for the gym 25$ per month is really good tbh. As for the restaurant $20 per person including salad, Appetizer, main meal, water and coffee is really cheap... 15$ at the grocerie shop for hummus, bread, cookies and box of apple juice is also reasonable. The Mangos are expensive true. But other than that all the mentioned prices seemed reasonable especially now that the whole world is in inflation, comparing these prices with other countries it's really cheap

    Beit Beirut Museum is open when there are exhibitions only for the current state, and you can visit the 1st floor exhibition on the forcibly lost and missing persons from the Lebanese Civil War on Thursdays-Fridays from 3:00 PM till 6:00 PM till next January

    you are in sin el fil area, everything therfe is expensive, by melhem restaurant is really good , my wife was teacher in the american center nearby, and the yellow building in front is the municipality of sin el fil you will be always welcome to go inside

    I was there in 2021. The crisis was at its start back then and the prices were still nor catching up with inflation. The country was as cheap as Ukraine and the non-schengen balkans. Now the country is as overpriced as it used to be before 2019...
