I appreciate it.
This is what youtube is for not that over edited out of touch content where the influencer is in the center of the frame. You just want to say can you move ! . With you and other that go in the real life , real neighborhood we get real interaction where ist no longer tourist - local but human-human level. I like the POV filming. Really lets me as a viewer relax and just enjoy the view.
SAME! More travel vlogs need to do this style of POV filming. I want to see the city and hear commentary of personal experiences. Not watch someone get dressed a million times! 😂
Couldn't do an intro at the airport because that beat was BANGIN!!
You couldn’t even get out of the airport, and there was a party! Lebanon has been high on my list. Get in, and enjoy the beautiful people, food, and area during one of the peaceful times.
Since the war in Gaza/Palestine.. started it affected lebanon after that there were less tourists in 🇱🇧 well done 🕊
Nice video! Just a small correction it's "Lira" not "Libra" lol
Try to visit the countryside and other cities such as Batroun (A tourist coastal city), Ehden (a Mountain town with beautiful views that will shock you) and Byblos(the longest continuously inhabited city in the world). These are safe to visit now as they are in the North of country and don't have any threat of being targeted by war
Also Libra which the original word
Love seeing the world through your eyes man
Love your channel Sly. Im living through your travels. Thank you for sharing these amazing videos 👍🏽👍🏽
I'm glad that you mentioned that women are walking alone.. I want to visit Lebanon
White female, visited for a week in 2018. Walked day and night. The most dangerous is traffic and pavements, be mindful of your steps.... people are just amazing, thinking what they're going through, they are deep in my heart. I want to go back soon. As it so happened, I ended up in South Beirut in a mini van (servis taxi) with Hezbollah guys. Incredibly respect- and helpful, made sure I got to the right place safely.
yup! with the situation Lebanon is going through most countries would be a wild west in crime. truly beautiful people.
Love what you doing. Stay safe out there.
Damnnnn... when you got to the mobile store... that was a block near my place!!! :D
Appreciate the content and the exploring around . It's always great to experience the nuance of daily life in all of these countries via your videos
Let goooo!!!! Yea sly bro I been following since you had NO subs dog your perseverance and consistency is an inspiration as I get ready to start my CZcams journey 🙌🏾 big up Fam love from Cali

Keep up the great work brotha!!
This is so cool, thanks for this boots on the ground perspective!
what is the beautiful glowing place straight ahead at 4:35? you were going the right way!
Very interested to see the kind of content you come up with from Beirut. Wow.
The city doesn't look like a walker's paradise. 🙂 Love your videos, Sly.
Love you Sly! Great videos

Looks alright, I saw a vlog from Jason Billam in Beirut in 2022. I've forwarded this to my Lebanese friend.
Thanks for sharing
Another great video Brother
Hi sly, loving your video! Can’t wait to watch all of them, you don’t need to change money much you can use USD , and rate is 1500, but most places giving you. 90000. You can use CC at mall etc at 90000.
Thank you, sir
Power goes off hours in Damascus everyday! So when you have a take advantage of it, love watching
Hey Sly dig'n your content brotha man New Subbie Sup2 from Sydney Australia 💪💪
Nice thank you 👊🏿
I’ve left Lebanon last july! I’m glad to see traffic lights are still working!
Welcome man, hope you had a great time, hit me up next time you come around I will take you to the beautiful south.
We love you from lebanon 🇱🇧❤️❤️❤️
the supermarket is huge!!!!
so interesting and authentic
Love your channel. My dream is to visit Lebanon one day!
Brilliant man just found your channel are you just travelling?☮️❤️
its Lira not Libra. The Lebanese Lira mate 🇱🇧
Nice 🤠
Looks like Tel-Aviv. Maybe a less sky-scrapy.
2:46 as someone whos lived in lebanon and left before the explosion, i can confirm that power cuts in lebanon is a common occurence
lebanese palestinian here :D, The country only has a few hours a day of electricity a day and sometimes you don't even get some. SO yes very normal,
1 month 20GB Internet and 2$ would cost you around 15$ assuming you already have a sim card. Advise, use the application and recharge from your Credit Card to get around shop commission fees.
I had heard that many businesses are just showing rates in US dollars now. Did you find that to be the case?
We say Merhaba as a greeting in Sudan and Eritrea as well.
The roads are pretty clean
Wow enjoy bruh
Yess!!
You should go to Egypt all of those bags of junk food, and groceries would come up to $5 USD or less. I feel like Lebanon aren’t accustomed to a lot of black tourists, so when they see you they’ll inflate the prices.
what are you talking about the prices at the supermarket or most kiosks are on the signs.
Fascinating - cheers from Israel
I love Jews, but can't stand Israel dude. This is coming from a Lebanese person. Stay out of our country bro. The world will start respecting you guys again when you (your govt basically) get yourselves together and become a more civilized nation.
Free Palestine you wicked people!
@@freshness_ah7534Not all of them are bad people, blame the leader not the actual people
9:00 if you bought it without a picture of your passport, then it’s a good price.
I think $26 is good! I paid about the same
Welcome man....have in mind that this crazy entity called Lebanon is in war in its Southern border.. meanwhile in the center and the North are in drinking dancing mood 😮🎉..i see that you have been in Ashrafieh neighborhood, a Christian majority one
Hey bro, you should go to Taiwan to have bubble tea 😅
I see them sour patch kids at the bottom! Yes, I'm judging you. All that work out you had me doing in Cali.
Kootos to you your becoming Sly Indieees
Could you make your videos longer 😅
Most probably the area you stayed at is achrafieh which is Christian based area so you won’t find a lot of hijabis but other areas are Muslim based so you would iys pretty mixed
Just get an E SIM!
6 gigs for $26 is crazy expensive compared to Somalia like you can get unlimited 4G high speed internet for $18 a month 😂
so you saying you got black market bills? 😮😂 you brave sir. thanks for showing us around
What are black market bills?
Bro did you go here in 20204?????😮😮😮😮😮
I am living in Lebanon, if u need any help, let me know
What! you bought no beer? 😱
Right! A friend and I were looking into going to a beer festival there, several years ago.
damn.. lebanon still seems hopeless. my goodness the government is incompetent. smh
In an alternate non violent universe i could visit there 🇱🇧❤️🇮🇱
Very expansive phone services
don't exchange just use dollar
My dad is from Lebanon but he tells me not to go??
Yeah you can't blame him, the country is currently somewhat in shambles, if it wasn't for the government the country would be one of the best countries out there due to it's tourist places and such, but ofc greed gets the best of everyone
who the hell exchanged 15 000 for 1 $? they scammed u. Its 89 000 LBP for 1 $ and not libras, it's Lebanese pounds or Lebanese Liras.
I LOVE BEIRUT ❤❤❤🤍💚🤍❤❤❤
Me hearing bombings all around because im close to the mountains and border:👁️👄👁️
your first day of visiting the Middle East
Cheaper than the USA
Lira not libra anw welcome
Lebanese Lira... not Libra
You should have talked about the 15 yr civil war they had from.1975- 199,0 .which led to total destruction.lebanon never totally recovered.leb is half muslim , half christian , and most muslimd not practicing
15 $ 20 gb of internet in all lebanon.
Lira not libra, 😂
Watching this video so far my take is Lebanon looks dirty congested and extremely chaotic and unorganized 😮
You are correct. In this video, Sly happened to be in Ashrafieh, the friendliest and most civilised area in Beirut.
Overall, Beirut and the country is littered, highly polluted, crimes, shootings and theft you name it.
Wooahh Beirut Lebanon.. Now there's a name that was linked to turmoil my entire young adult life growing up... It's like mothering Ukraine today 😂
It's only that way because of Israel
@@AtreVireLOL, has nothing to do with that
@@AtreVire Lebanese political parties, their militias and supporters are to blame as well, you clown.
Who's responsible for the Beirut port blast, Lira crisis, power cuts and fuel shortages, sewage and waste management and the ABSENCE of an elected president and government?
How do they treat black people in Lebanon? I know they treat the Syrians and Palestinians very poorly
Syrian refugees are being physically attacked and Palestinians were massacred during the civil war
@@forestman2382 the syrian and palestine refugees, have destroyed our country. Most recently, a group of syrians attacked a politician while robbing him. They took him to syria and killed him, despite telling them “Please, i have kids”. his name is “Pascal Sleiman” if your interested. Another example is that in lebanon you can only buy 2 packs of bread at most at a time, but syrians refugees, well, they have a lot of children, so 5 of them go in, buying 10, and leaving non for the lebanese people.
to sum up everything, this is still the base of the idea. but you can see what i mean.
leave now
Thank you, sir
