it's possible but the timing is difficult
I’ve been parried using the slicer, it’s absolutely possible. Even with piercer too if I remember correctly

Not to brag but around 70 attempts have been made to parry me when I'm using Carian Slicer and all 70 of those attempts have failed. I don't ever remember a single person doing it successfully. My conclusion is, you shouldn't even try to parry slicer, it is too fast and you have to parry it by predicting when the opponent is going to use it, and even then the timing is tricky.
@@ezequielvalenzuela2874i think you have to try and parry the actual staff rather than the slicer itself. it’s my main melee weapon and i’ve been parried before

This is all at 99 INT while casting with the Carian Regal Scepter. Yeah, I'm not surprised it did that much damage.

Just made a similar build yesterday. Slicer + Piercer + Hammer is amazing
I’m 4 minutes into this video and you’ve done what I haven’t seen with most mage builds and that’s not spam the same spell just to get the hit. A great pvp man that has dignity that if I saw more of this I would give respect to Int builds.

Hey man GREAT VIDEO! Youve got some great content, but I was wondering why would you use the mask to boost your dex? Wouldn't you benefit more from some other helm? Correct me if Im wrong this is a genuine question and Im just trying to learn all the little stuff that can alter your ending results like soft and hard caps, point distribution, buffs, stacks, stats ect. But I wanted to ask cause you obviously look like you know what your doing lol

Hey, ik this is an old video but a quick Q : does having carian wand increase carian slicer/piercer even when you dont cast it with the hand that wand is in? eg used it on regal scepter wand while the carian wand is in off hand

Chase im nee to your videos but might i recommend adula's moon blade or carian greatsword. When you were in the tunnel with the blue with ruins greatsword. A wide seeeping aoe spell wouldve been useful there. And it procs frostbite very quickly u may have gotten a kill off one of them

On my first playthrough i ditched the weapons for a second staff. Lusat‘s is great for the slicer since it‘s for free anyway

We often see you use pure caster, but barely see you play as a battlemage relying as much on melee as your spells.

I notice you use the blade based spells in your primary hand even though your staff that buffs them is in your off hand. Does simply having the staff equipped give them the boost?
It does indeed, as long as it is out you get the buff regardless which tool you use to cast

I run 99 int 99 faith with death staff. No consumables other than wondrous physick. Getting over 5k damage per attack using comet. Very spammable too
