Joke's on you, I've already been using it for like 6 months. It's pretty good ngl.
The draconic tree sentinal is ectually optional. After reaching Altus and beating Radahn, Mimic tear and gargoyles, you can reach the deeproot dephts. After beating Fia's champions, you can use a teleporter in the arena to get to Lyendell. It does take some time, but if you ever do a run in the future for wich you want to get the age of the duskborn ending it might be a faster way.
The only problem with this is you skip one annoying boss by fighting 2 other more annoying bosses.
Why yes, instead of fighting 1 horsey boy (with at minimum Rennala and godrick), you fight godrick and radahn, mimic tear, 2 of the most annoying bosses in the game, try not to die just traversing deeproot, and 5 invaders

Meteors are a save, not an attack. Carian slicer is an attack.
I was gonna add that it isnt just ranged attacks, all attacks beyond 5 feet from a prone target have disadvantage
Fun Fact: Most of the Gravity Spells do physical damage alongside magic damage meaning that they can be boosted by spells like Flame, Grant Me Strength as well as Consumables like the Bloodboil Aromatic. The Blue Dancer Charm also works with them due to this reason.
P.S. This run would've been extremely easy (even more than it already was) with the Night Comet and the Staff of Loss and heck, the Death's Poker would've made this entire run into a joke so I'm kind of glad you didn't use them. Also, I'm hoping you'll finally give Burn, O Flame! a chance in the "Leveling Faith ONLY In Elden Ring" run.

Fun fact: if you go to Fia's location underground and beat Fia's champion you can skip the draconic tree sentinel by going through the portal. Which technically means you can beat the game without ever entering altus platau

Hey, a little tip while you're picking up a bunch of items like at the Caelid Chairs or graveyards, if you block it skips that little pick up animation which speeds it up a little. Does it do much? No. But it *feels* like it does a lot, which is what's really important let's be honest

For those unaware: Use the magic gravity rocks from a distance. Tracking increases as you get farther from the enemy, and they clump up together

Hmmm...looking at it, you're right. There's definitely the possibility to make that work, especially two-handing it.
That does mean beating Rykard... but it's not weapon-locked, so Serpent Hunter is on the table.

You didn't fight Rykard here, but I remember you complained because the earthquake on other runs, you can just use the serpent hunter spear (or any decent shield) to block the quake. It will eat your stamina but is a guarantee, the serpent usually give you time to recover after, but some times it just combo and you're F.

Great thing about moonlight Greatsword is it scales off intelligence but doesn't require a lot of mind since you're using the R2 Heavy attacks
Carian Slicer is my favorite spell. Itâs a) actually good and b) melee magic so⊠yeah, itâs fun.

Great run sir been watching these for a while. Love seeing mage runs with rock sling being used, then I like to mention a meta with it that some may not know. If rock sling is cast with a staff that is in your left hand it will have nearly infinite range, if you can lock on then at least one rock will hit, the closer you are the more rocks hit obviously. I use this trick mainly on the rune farming bird in Mohgwyn Palace, I donât use a bow.

IÂŽm sure someone will already have mentioned it - but just to be sure: In the academy, you donÂŽt have to roll the big ball AT ALL. There is a safe spot to the right. You run there, wait a moment, then runn through. ItÂŽs just about angle of incidence and reflection. So pool billiard, basically. Once you stop panicing it is super easy. Also, there is usually a message at the exact location of the safe spot. Cheers ! PS: Never forget jump attacks and most AoW are non-parriable, and Moongrums shield kinda sucks. The rocksling should have been able to easily guardbreak him, for example.

For the Red Wolf, instead of summoning, you can pick up Comet in the area nearby the boss arena. Hits hard and you should have enough stats to equip it.

@@tulokthebarbrarian2033 I think so, my big brain mage used it and it went brrr pretty severely. Especially on human sized enemies, it doesn't break their stance but it staggers them pretty nice

Honestly as a dex/int sort of guy (Though Dex/Faith in elden ring) I kinda love the playstyle. Nothing comes for granted. Cast at the wrong time? Boss' got a twelve hit insta kill with your name on it. Yet it you play perfect bosses feal like they're easy. Also, your staying too far away. Boss ai is designed to punish that, its better to stay somewhat close and only get distance when your using a big spell. Godfrey shade is actually a good example. For rock sling at its slowest, Stay about an axe and a half away 9 times out of 10 he'll just swing twice and you'll still be safe
Can you do a run as tim robinson? I'm sure you could figure out how to do it. Probably involving tables?

I feel like Carian Piercer is rly underrated and I never see anyone use it, even though there is a lot of practical applications for it, esp on enemies with janky hitboxes. Hell, there were a lot of sword sorceries I feel could've been p fun to use in certain situations. Though I will admit, that is my opinion; not gonna assert it's the best way to play, but it would've been cool if you gave more of the INT only spells a shot. Still enjoyed the vid regardless

you probably thought about this, but there are a lot of Int weapons in the game, and by using radagons soreseal and either the dex talisman or the millicent prothesis you can weild the moonviel for weapon gameplay in this int only run

Great run as usual. Generally shard spiral works a little better when you donât charge it and just chain cast it as many times as possible but it can feel a little underwhelming for all the hype

It's funny because everyone seems to agree Godwyn was a pretty decent guy too.
I tend to hide behind greatshield soldiers when I play a spellcaster. They effectively tarpit just about anything that doesn't have high damage AOEs while I throw spells at it.

I think the reason why you were missing Ranala so much was because you were too close to her with some casts. The rocks are really dumb owed to the fact that they're rocks, so high IQ actions like "changing direction" or "moving down" takes them a while. Usually the further away you are the better the chance you'll get all 3 rocks hitting the same stationary or slow moving target.

Iirc the Full Moon spells ABSORB Elden Stars, completely removing it from the fight before it becomes an issue, so in thus case it would be better than Thops Barrier as you didn't have the stamina. However this does require you to time it so that the spell attaction of Ranni's Dark Moon is active at the same time as Elden Stars.
Also I think that a Nidoking run would be a fun one, Nidoking has a crazy expansive movepool to pull from. Sure there might be a little overlap with Charizard, but here's a small sample of the things that you'd be able to use:
1. Rotten Breath (Toxic/Sludge Wave)
2. Dragonfire (Flamethrower)
3. Aspect of the Curcible: Horns (most of its Horn attacks)
4. Aspext of the Crucible: Tail (Iron Tail)
5. Zamor Ice Storm (Blizzard)
6. AoW: Earthshaker (Earthquake/Earth Power)
7. AoW: Horrah Loux's Earthshaker (Earthquake/Earth Power)
8. Winged Greathorn (horn based attacks)
9. Marias Executioner's Sword/Regalia of Eochaid (Horn Drill)
10. Rock Sling
11. Stone of Gurranq
12. Beast Claw
13. Giantsflame Take Thee! (Fire Blast)
14. Fist weapons in Cold, Fire and Lightning Affinities (Elemental Punches)
15. Dragonice (Blizzard)
16. AoW Vow of the Indomitable (Protect)
Im sure that there are other options that i didn't mention, but this should give you ab idea on how flexible this could be. However the armor is going to be an issue as i have no ideas there.
How about a Hornet run in honor of Silksongâs delay. A âweâve got Silksong at homeâ run, if you will.

In a run like one of these, one could only make it work on the Endurance run with one of Marika's talismans, Stargazer Heirloom or with the Cat Imp Head equiped
Godricks Great Rune would also help
It would still feel, like forcing it to work, out of pure stubbornness đ

So, you probably asked it rhetorically, but the beast torch not working on the bats is kind of a theory I've been teasing since I put down the game. I imagine they don't fear the beast torch because despite their beastlike appearance they're not actually beasts. Much like the beastmen of Farum Azula they are an entire, intelligent race of people who share beastlike qualities but are advanced enough to not lost heart against the repellent! They, like the beastment, have an entire language and sing and speak and seem to have some sort of culture (that never really gets dived into in the game unfortunately.)

Pro tip: If you ever struggle with moongrum, try parrying him, he has basic ai that normally means he walks up to you and r1s, parry as he does and he gets demolished
if you run on the right side of the boulder stairs the boulder never really goes there except for a few points so its a free way up to rennalaâs boss room

You don't have to roll on the ball stairs in Raya Lucaria!
You can run to the far right side, continue upward until the ball bounces against the railing, then run the rest of the way safely. You can easily get through the door just before the next ball drops!

Ffs, USE THE NIGHT COMET! It's BY FAR the best projectile spell in the game. To get it you just have to run around Sellia a bit lighting the fires until they remove the magic wall in the center of town that block it. The Staff of Loss (found in the same place so no detours needed) also provides a huge boost to Night Comet's damage (more than the Jellyfish shield) making it one of the most damaging spells in the game, it casts faster than the rocks, you can chain-cast it and enemies don't react to it being cast (if I remember correctly, it also doesn't get parried by Radagon). It is functionally the Carian Blender but ranged. It is so good it carried me on my ever playthrough against Malenia.

So it's because of the Tiche blade beam. It takes away 10% of the max health, but only for like a minute ish(idk the exact time) when the debuff goes away it LOOKS like it heals, but it's just getting that 10% back
