I agree best way to cook a speck. Whole fish baked you waste no meat , also in backbone and skin and scales have loads of cologne. This is great for your health, omega 3s, and protein. You taste the fish not the grease fried in. Awesome keep it up.

Mom would make a similar dish, she liked to stuff the belly area with blue crab lump meat. She sometimes poured spaghetti sauce over it then baked it in the oven. Miss my mom, love on yours while ya got her... you only get one mom.

My grandfather was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman all of his life and he almost always had a little bit of a sunburn and dark skin he ended up passing away from skin cancer because he never wore sunscreen and it was a real bad way to go and he suffered a long time there at the end.

That looked delicious. Throw in a couple of blue crabs, baked potato and really cold beer and you have a restaurant quality meal. I just cleaned some sand trout, but next speck will get prepared that way or maybe with a crab or shrimp stuffing. Gonna get a mirodeen also.

I’m so pumped about my new trolling motor. No more fighting with the anchor. Seeing this video reminded me of what’s ahead. I’ve always drifted or anchored there. Great content as usual. The tarpon you caught get thick in my creek as well. I saw it took you a few days trying. I wonder what they’re doing in the creeks because I marked them in mine and they were doing the same thing over and over like they are spawning or something. I don’t know.
The wireless GPS trolling motor is awesome for sure! And they live in there , grow and head out in the Gulf to Spawn! They can tolerate that heat because they come up and gulp for Air

Where is a good place in ob/gs to fish for sheepshead from the bank? A catch clean and cook on them would be cool also if you like eating them.
State Park Pier is a good place. Defiantly! I will when the time
Is right, now is not the time to try for em, they’re more seasonal in Winter and early Spring. Not impossible to catch one this time of year but they’re just not something I’d go target until the water gets cooler.
