      At 1:21 minute, the Chief, did not KNOW what the government is doing??? The Government KNEW building was being building there, WHY come NOW when the homeowners spent Millions of dollars building paying for the home???? Wayward government at least "NOTIFY" the homeowners in advance, NOW, customers would have a reservation of buying properties, in Nigeria....

Look at what you've just said to the victim who suffered in this hash economy of this country to secure such a property let this, and it's been demolished without notice. • @raphraph3545
    @raphraph3545 Před 6 měsíci +5

    I don't know the modalities behind this exercise by LASG, but I believe it's towards enforcing town planning around Lagos. The state already deals with flooding problems even when it rains heavily for just an hour in certain areas.
    The ministry of town planning should also be held responsible for not properly enforcing town planning guidelines before these buildings were put up.
    This is perhaps a lesson for anyone that wants to buy landed properties for buildings to investigate the property thoroughly before committing funds.
    Do not build in areas where buildings are not permitted and build only in line with specifications by the town planning authorities to avoid these kinds of scenes

    Just record and document everything that they're doing now. It will be revisited in due time. If it is justified, we will know as time goes. If it not justified, we will equally know.
    May the souls of those who died as a result of the sudden demolition rest in peace. May those affected remain strong. The future will bring something better their way.

    This is a pitty, but one thing i want our Igbo brothers to understand is stop buying Land in Lagos and more so if you buy land in any States in future make sure you have genuine approved plans at lands office and make sure you don't bribe them there because this is one of the reasons, see most working in lands office know the Land is accusation land's but because you tried and bribe your way to get approve documents that is the reason and how on earth will you built a house worth 300 millions in a state that is not your mother's land remember Nigeria is not one politicians are only lieing saying one Nigeria,
    # Yoruba Nation Shall Stand
    # Biafra Nation Shall Stand
    # Arewa Nation Shall Stand
    All this coming soon..
    Nigeria will end soon and everyone will be at peace in there God given Nation then we became friends again...❤

    I genuinely feel for everyone affected by the ongoing demolitions and I pray they will somehow recover from this heartbreaking event, but please stop making this about ethnicity. Demolitions are being carried out all over the country including the FCT. Even in your own state of origin, your property may be demolished if built on an unapproved location.
    Having said that, the unscrupulous govt officials signing these approvals also need to be brought to book. It is not the citizens alone who should be made to suffer this unfortunate fate.

    When people over the years abuse hard drugs it's effects on the brain is that it makes them delusional and they start hallucinating over imaginary enemies. Ndigbo that came to lagos in peace to irk a living and plough back their profits in developing the place are suddenly perceived and treated as enemies. Slum settlements that house criminals are littered all over the city and nobody is demolishing those ones. The God that blessed twenty pounds in the hands of ndigbo will restore in multiple folds whatever they have lost in Jesus Name Amen
