When this video showed up in my notifications, I had to remind myself "who is this guy and why am I following his vids?" So I watched some of your older vids on student learning and the web. Then I remembered, "Yes, he's the creative genius anthropology prof who inspired my interest in disruptive technologies." You, sir, are an artist who happens also to be an outstanding anthropologist. Thank you for sharing your compassionate worldview.

OMG!! You've done it again. Inspired me to rethink my passion for teaching. I didn't tell you I got a new job!! Start in July at UAlbany. Applying anthropology to teaching music courses. Ethnomusicology as the study of all music in all places. Go ANT101!!!

I found myself smiling through your ANTH 101 introduction, remembering why I love studying people and the societies they make.

Do you know anything about an obscure show also called THE ART OF BEING HUMAN? Was on mostly in the afternoons early 1980's on PBS.Was on a few times I recall a university class might have made it. Can't find any record of it.Do you recall such a show.

Wonderful video BUT why is business always the foil to following one's passion? Take some time to listen to entrepreneurs and you'll find out they're in it for love of humanity and its diverse offerings too. Maligning is dead, long live anthropology
