    HI, love your videos thank you. If I need to make individual name patches, is there a way to do bulk amounts with different names in each one. Any tips and help would be very much appreciated. Or do you have a video showing something like this?

    Thanks for that x I’m very new to all this x if I wanted the badge to be iron on, I just add a layer of, for example, Heat n seal or similar when the badge is completed?? Thanks 😊

    Love your videos!! Could I please ask approximately how long it takes to embroider the patch to have the final product? (not including creating the design)

      Hi! Thank you for your comment. For a patch the same size as the frog in the video which is about 6cm wide it takes about 12 minutes for larger designs between 10cm - 15cm it usually takes between 20 to 40 minutes to stitch out but it all depends on how detailed the design is.

    Thank you for video! I have a question for the 3d method. Does film water soluble? If it is I’m wandering what will happen with the stitches if film will melt?🤔😄 And does this method work for iron on patches? Thank you 🙏!

      Hiii thank you for your comment, yes this works for iron on patches. The film in the video is B film/badge film by Madeira Threads. It isn’t water soluble but it does melt away under heat. Once the design is embroidered on B-Film it won’t unravel as long as you put a satin stitch boarder around it. The stitches then support themselves. You can do the same thing with water soluble stabiliser however I have better results with the B Film

    Do you need an upgrade on scissors? Those scissors didn’t look very sturdy… 😔

    @shantel4676 Před 2 lety +2

    Hi! You should put an affiliate link to where you get all your supplies including your embroidery machine on all of your videos. I’d love to know where you get your thread, what kind of thread it is and info on your embroidery machine.

      Hi! I get my embroidery machines from Midwest Machinery in the UK and all my threads/backing from Madeira Threads. They are really great reliable companies selling quality products I absolutely recommend them

    This is gonna be so useful! Do you have to digitize patches any differently for each of these methods?
    Also, in your most recent vid, you mentioned getting a laser cutter to use for your machine. Funny enough, I have both of these (but acquired in the opposite order lol). Definitely make sure to have a solid way to vent any gasses. LMK if you need any help setting it up, i'd love to share what I know!

      @pinkbirdembroidery8281  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi! Thank your comment. I’m going to need all the help I can get when this laser finally arrives 😅 the only real difference worth mentioning in the digitising process is check what underlay stitches you are using, for example, on the B Film you will need a much denser underlay, if you are appliqué - ing then a standard underlay stitch is usually sufficient

    Do you know of any USA equivalents? The b film seems to only be available in the UK

    • @pinkbirdembroidery8281
      @pinkbirdembroidery8281  Před 2 lety +1

      I don't sorry! But I'm sure Madeira have a distributor in the USA it might be worth contacting them for more info. Alternatively I know a lot of people use water soluble stabliser and get the same outcome, I just personally prefer B-Film as it feels stronger.

      @pinkbirdembroidery8281  Před 6 měsíci +1

      @@morirsonando-greatlife5029 it might also be called Badge Film, I get mine from Madeira Threads, you can also use a few layers of water soluble stabiliser and get the same effect as water soluble stabiliser also just tears away like B film without having to wet it
