Amazing. She's clearly highly intelligent, hyper talented and hugely successful, and yet she manages to remain entirely unpretentious, and communicates so patiently, so well and so clearly her artistic visions and techniques. One of a kind, a magnificent artist.
PJ is an incredible artist. She is one of the most unique musicians that are still currently relevant AND pushing things forward. She is something to treasure. I will always be a PJ fan because her music is gold.
Patient, articulate and diplomatic responses from Polly. It must be a pain hearing the same old questions when you are promoting an album. She is just a fantastic talent, and a lovely human being.
Totally agree with the hunt for instruments. Some songs really come alive with new types of sounds. Prodigy is a great example. Really never heard some of those sounds before. Never really seen an auto harp before but it's pretty rad
I like her. She is very intelligent. I love the fact that is not too political. She seems like someone who is real and rational. Someone you can have a constructive conversation with and not be too over opinionated and pompus.
In the next life, I plan at least a century with the woman of my dreams. Here on Earth, just to thank her for the joy of music would be a dream come true.
PJ Harvey is a singular brilliance and she does exactly what she explaims there on 'Let England Shake' -nothing worse than pompous political posturing disguisedi as being passion for humanity -she eschewed it by embracing the nuances but not at the expense of raw imagery: Real
It has always been a riddle to me, why England with that big history of rock-pop-etc-music has had so little output criticizing their bloody criminal past. I dont think there is a second country in world history with such a bad record considering genocides, war crimes, slavery, etc etc. Shaking my head.
We were very good at conquest, yeah. Cultural, military, financial, you name it. Many tried, but we knocked it out of the park! Big deal. As for our record with slavery, we ENDED slavery. We went round the world stopping others from practicing slavery, at great expense.
I could listen to her eat a bag of crisps. She's fascinating and captivating in equal measure.
Well said..👍🏻

This lady sang 'lick my legs I'm on fire'. She is whole and perfect.

She's absolutely brilliant 👍🏻 ive been listening to her music since the 90s. 💯👍🏻 She's one of my favourite musicians.
Everytime she speaks her thoughts you can easily become drawn in and get lost in time.
She has a very beautiful and inspiring outlook on life.
She’s so intelligent I can’t help being fascinated by her her music and what she actually has to say
I love everything PJ does.
I'm sure "articulate" comes to mind for many, but I find her so concise and artistic in her approach and and just *lovely.* Thank you Polly.
I love PJH, she is so enigmatic and truly charismatic.
still very young. In mind and appearance.
What a wonderful human.
I love her Somerset accent

I love listening to Polly talk about her work, it's crazy how little she's asked about her actual work

don't agree with the views on hunting
@@Jamesp1972 - not even for instruments?
One of my favorite albums, strictly because of its lyrics
So sweet
GREAT ALBUM.
I just found her and I suggest you find her too.
She's a lovely girl
She's bad ass
Oh my (lover) polly jean ❤️❤️🤗
Let England Shake blew her fans and critics away. No surprise that she won the Mercury Prize.
She really reminds me by the way she looks and talks of that figure that turns up in the very first scene in Jarmusch's "Dead man"
My favourite album of hers is Let England Shake
Annie Clark and Polly need to do a record together. It would be amazing.
Good call

Love her, but my gosh we live In pampered times.
Do Pj Harvey have a Greatest hits album? If so? What's the name of the album?
she seems slightly agitated by the interviewer.
I liked the questions and the brilliant answers anyway.
I wonder what she would say about England, Britain today? hmpth
Probably not what you would assume. Lol.

It makes sense the US spring out from there.
And what wonderful, blameless country do you hail from?
Who cares, go to college for that crap
