Thank you for posting this gem!
Polly Jean, you're my star.
I bought it when it was released 20 years ago. I listened to it all summer long. I still come back to it after 20 years, that's why I'm watching this documentary right now in 2024. For me that what music and artistic expression is about. One of the most important albums in my life. A raw masterpiece for sure.
xxxx.
This is literally the first time that I have sincerely enjoyed reading the comments. 🤩
Thank God for Polly Jean Harvey.
incredible sound quality
That tiny shiny slinky blue dress... she got a LOT of use out that in 1995... not just Leno, but 'White Room' TV show in UK, and many live shows. #KillingIt!
xxxx.
The very beginning

Perfect
Very cool to see behind the scenes! Thank you
She's absolutely brilliant 👍🏻 ive been listening to her music since the 90s. 💯👍🏻 She's one of my favourite musicians.
❤
Enchanting.
there is no laughter in the garden
polly jean harvey more like polly queen harvey
I have fallen for Polly and her music quite late on. Since the White Chalk lp. I was, previously, more than a little afraid of her. She seemed to me like some sort of sex-witch. Metamorphosing into a pixie/sprite, more suitable to a goodie in Lord of the Rings than a dark goth uber evil demon destroyer. She is so natural and lacking in any kind of pretrntion or snobbishness, I think she is so talented and genuine. A profoundly great artist. Very rare and precious and valuable. ❤
She's just insanely cool.
What a ridiculous interview but for the time it makes sense. Bogus
I really love Polly and all her music, shes so gorgeous and has a badass attitude/character GodBless her 🤘🏾❤
Love the way the band got into A builder's van at the end of the interview Weird but funny
Erika is watching, from California, this walking, I'm leaving u today. California, leave it. Caaaaalifornnniiiiiiiaaaaa. How cruel was Ye to think that I could make u change, ooooooh, oooooh, oooooh, Cslifornia killed me, Cslifornia killed me, California, I think it's time to leave, I thought noone had stayed, I think it's time to leave..,...,. I will not!!!
A boyish thing to do to play that sort of guitar? I guess this guy has never heard of Sister Rosetta Tharpe? I guess that way of playing is regarded as a masculine thing to do but PJ Harvey certainly wasn’t the first to play like that. Don’t know what his point is really other than some people regard it as a bit strange, which is very strange to me. It’s like saying women are rarely aggressive or something - really weird.
Heart beats out of my chest when I see these past videos of this Goddess
I love Uh Huh Her! It’s probably my favorite
What a beautiful mind she is!
Before the HD changeover

GOAT
This interviewer gives off massive douche vibes.
What a genius team they are together here.this is very good & great to see too.
i think its a good interview and i find it funny that many seem to think the interviewer is doing a bad job when essentially he succeeds in getting to what the band thinks about themselves
🎯💯
Simply beautiful. And wayyyy! Out of the norm.
Terrible, inane interviewer
She's lovable in her honesty and her rugged individuality
Alright as soon as he said MANLY instrument as if instruments was ever for one gender irritated me. How she kept herself calm is not only respectable but admirable. Wasted her time to be honest. I would ask her more about the band and how they’ve come along during tours and the song writing process rather than the boyish remarks.
🤍💙🖤
🖤💙🤍
I'd love to just sit and have a conversation with her. She's so uniquely amazing!
This lady sang 'lick my legs I'm on fire'. She is whole and perfect.
