  • Gambians celebrate landmark 15th Organization of Islamic Cooperation Summit with jubilation and honour as leaders convene in Banjul for two-day summit.
    At the heart of this summit, themed "enhancing unity and solidarity through dialogue on sustainable development," delegates from 57 Islamic nations will engage in pivotal discussions on pressing matters within the Islamic world. Among the critical topics on the agenda are the Palestinian crisis and the ongoing Israeli conflict in Gaza.
    Furthermore, key documents, comprising the Palestinian resolution draft, the Banjul statement draft, and the final summit document, will undergo scrutiny at the Council of Foreign Ministers' session before deliberation and approval at the summit.
