SABEEL Ahmed should explain the Quran the Sunna and the Hadith define Islam. According the the latter Muhammad was a slave trader and he used to loot the caravans of non muslims. He worked as the servant of a rich old widow and later he married her. He also married a six year old girl and also his own daughter in law after forcing his adopted son to divorce her. Inspite of this Muslims say that he was the greatest man who ever lived. If anyone does this today the police will put him in jail.

Then Allah, Most High, sent down regarding that:
" And women already married, except those whom your right hands possess (iv. 24)" (i. e. they were lawful for them when their 'Idda period came to an end).
Hadeeth was narrated by al-Bukhaari (2542) from Ibn Muhayreez who said: I saw Abu Sa’eed (may Allaah be pleased with him) and I asked him. He said: We went out with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on the campaign of Banu al-Mustaliq, and we captured some prisoners from among the Arabs. We desired women and the period of abstention was hard for us, and we wanted to engage in ‘azl (coitus interruptus). We asked the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and he said, “There is no point in doing that, for there is no soul which Allaah has decreed should exist until the Day of Resurrection but it will come into existence.”

I love his work. Such a beautiful way of Dawa. No arguments no debate. Why can't more people do this? This should be globalised. If only Muslims in other countries like India would have done this. It's good that there are laws against intoxicants in Islam. I have seen more than a dozen alcoholics in my 2 week rotation in psychiatry who have lost everything they had. Smoking is the single most important risk factor for most cancers and comorbs. Hope these menaces could end and people could live healthy lives.

Intoxicants as in plural, not just alcohol. Every intoxicant that harms the body is prohibited.
chapter 5 verse 90
"O believers! Intoxicants, gambling, idols, and drawing lots for decisions are all evil of Satan’s handiwork. So shun them so you may be successful."
Again intoxicants in its plural form not just alcohol.
They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ about intoxicants and gambling. Say, “There is great evil in both, as well as some benefit for people-but the evil outweighs the benefit.” They ˹also˺ ask you ˹O Prophet˺ what they should donate. Say, “Whatever you can spare.” This is how Allah makes His revelations clear to you ˹believers˺, so perhaps you may reflect.

1) Forget Islam for 1 min. When was slavery abolished by the modern world & be honest now....
Modern form of Humans have lived for over 200000 years now, but bitter truth is slavery was abolished only 150 years ago (for 99.9% of our current existence or more) slavery has been the norm & acceptable across the world. Slavery was formally abolished after the 13th Amendment was adopted as part of the United States Constitution in 1865 by Abraham Lincon (feel free to verify that he too ironically owned slaved before that). So every human race, region, country, ethnicity in the whole world traded slaves until very recently. There are countless literature on it as well and if you're honest - you'll find nothing but truth in it. so was the worldly norm that existed before islam was carried forward during the life of the prophet? yes, they were carried forward and wasn't illegal. In similar capacity, the norm of the world has been that males could (it's not a compulsion, but an option) to have sex with mistress/concubines/female-captives that they possess. Slaves had many rights as well that had to be fullfilled by masters. These traditions are well documented in non-islamic historical books as well - so you're more than welcome to search yourself and if you're honest - you'll see that's how the world used to roll back then, not just the Arabs, not just the muslims.
It is pretty understandable that in year 2022 most of it isn't applicable nor makes any sense since humans have made so many reforms, banned slavery and new advancements. we're past slavery and I am glad that we are.
@@aamirahmed5897 Letter to Philemon in the Bible condemns slavery and it was 600 years before islam. Because you are brothers in Christ, you are equals. Muhammad bought and sold slaves, including female ones because of his lust and depravity that also led him to marry baby Aisha and r@p3 Saffiyah after killing her husband Kinana and her father and brother at Khaybar.

Your best place is CZcams if online. Dr. Zakir Naik..and youll see other channels. Be careful of the information relayed sometimes. Outside the internet I would suggest going to a mosque/masjid, there are brothers that will be more than happy to help you get anything you want.
