- Tristan Vukčević is projected to be a 2nd pick in 2023 NBA Draft, the 7"0 Serbian showcases huge potential, that warranties attention from NBA scouts. Whether it's Sacramento Kings in a constant motion offense or Denver Nuggets alongside his countryman Nikola Jokić, it will be interesting where Tristan Vukčević end up playing.

"fuck you everybody" Best quote ever
You’re a wizard, Tristan🧙🏼♂️
He's another Dragan Bender / Nikoloz Tsikitshkvili
Being famous for ruining their draft class😂
@@mr.sinjin-smythor Bertan😂
@@fuchengduan2508buddy what? This aged like ur grandma, poorly. Go check Tristan V’s PPG in the nba and talk to me
welcome to DC nice video too
“Fuck u everybody” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 we need too keep him overseas for another year with that coach and work on him strength and defense
Honestly this is a great analysis, shame he was picked by the Wizards though, hopefully they'll know how to develop him, I really like his game
being drafted by the wizards basically ended his career before it even started, as a life long wizards fan take my word for it
Honestly, they can use him since KP left.
he'll hopefully get more minutes
Job well done with the content. Very informative in just a few minutes.
Done better than most Americans.
He's another Dragan Bender / Nikoloz Tsikitshkvili
Lmao nah he’s another deni on the wizards 🤡
His Dad was a great player too, he was Captain of my team in Italy, Crabs Rimini
Amazing potential. Reminds me of Kukoc.
His game fits this era on NBA style ball... much more of a fit for him than playing Overseas. Just came over and he is already playing big minutes. Showing good offball awareness plus pick and roll, once the 3 starts falling he can honestly be tough in 3 years IMO
your videos are fire, after seeing your americans don't understand euro ball vid on my recommended I had to watch more. keep it up.
Future star for sure
Wiz 🔥
He is from greece too and he will play for us in the olympics
the thing is he’d have to be really damn good to be worth hiding on defense, not saying he’ll be the next Davis bertans but if he’s not good at defense, struggles with nba pace as well as rebounding and big man responsibilities I question his value to a playoff team, I hope he rounds out his game tho
Looks promising
nice video
He'll be just fine in a shooting league..
So we got another Porzingis
Where did you get that?
He wasn't drafted Top 5 with the intent to be a starter.
With that said, having a player that can shoot is not a dilemma, especially when the shooter isn't expected to protect the paint and help form a make-believe Big 3.
@@itonlyhurtswhenyouliewe got that because American can’t analysis European basketball players like second round drafted Nicola Jokic.
We just never know
@@mjmj1840Jokić is a hard working guy, while Vukčević is lazy. Slow for PF, weak for C. He spent year and a half under Europe's GOAT coach who basically gave up on him.
hell no
Another Dragan Bender / Nikoloz Tsikitshkvili
If he becomes playable on D, I see shades of Dirk.
Nugget needs to sign him.
Was hoping he would fall to Indy at 26.
This guy will have to live in a gym next year in the NBA
He’s a steal
If he becomes somewhat playable on D and boards, I see a poor man's Dirk Nowitzki in the J and how he moves on offense. .
He's lazy, that't the biggest issue. Real Madrid gave up on him, and then he went to Europe's GOAT coach, who gave him a chance to play, even in some very important games, but he didn't improve at all for almost a year and a half. He has talent, but is still trapped between positions (slow for PF, weak for C), poor positioning under the basket, weak in matchups, but all of that can be fixed, especially as he develops physically, however, he's not ready for hard work. Maybe that changes IF he goes to the NBA, because that's what all young players want, but I wouldn't bet on it.
Another Dragan Bender / Nikoloz Tsikitshkvili
poor man's dirk? how poor is this man??
Jumper reminds me of marc gasol
just see what gregg popović is saying about željko obradović
Željko Obradović basically gave up on this guy, so that doesn't look too good for Tristan.
@@markomarkovic5729 hahahahahahahahaahha
Miami please buy a second rounder for him
Blazers with their 2nd round pick.
Nice video thanks.
Can’t help but think once again the wizards are reaching and once again a draft is wasted.
No such thing in the 2nd round. We would normally draft some guy with zero upside. Draft and stash is the hallmark of good teams. Yes I'm a wiz fan too
@@BelovedChatter
Yes there is a such thing as reaching in the 2nd rd., that happens when you draft a player with "upside" that completely bombs, ahead of a surer, more proven prospect. And no draft and stash players aren't a hallmark of good teams.
Just be honest with yourself and think of the many international players drafted and then stashed by Ernie Grunfeld that never cracked an eight-man rotation or never ever set foot in an NBA arena to play professionally?
Can't think of any 2nd round player drafted by Grunfeld and then stashed that was worth a damn outside of Tomas Satoransky, who was a slightly above average overall player.
@@itonlyhurtswhenyoulie finding an nba player in the second round is a win lol
@@vincentchauvet6654
I agree. Never suggested that it wasn't
@@BelovedChatterhe's not a draft and stash, he's gonna be on the wizards next year
😮yeah we also have good serbian player here avrage 32.9 points per game named NIKOLA SON OF A VIC
what makes him different from andrea bargnani
I watched lots of clips of him, and everything said in this video is right... and even better, since it's fair to assume that he'll put on muscle over time if he's in the NBA. The _only_ issue with him - but it's a big one - is that from the clips I've seen, if he were in the NBA today, he would be *_dead last_* among all NBA players as a defender. He'd be the #1 worst defender in the NBA... and it might not even be close. His defensive reaction time is glacial, and even when he finally decides to go, it's like he's wearing concrete shoes. Defensively, he might as well go stand in the corner like a traffic cone.
The fact that he's a pro, on good - and now maybe even NBA - teams tells you how good his offensive skills appear, given how god-awful he appears defensively. If his brain and feet can just speed up to the point where he's merely a bad, rather than atrocious, defender, then he might have a nice career in the NBA. I'm rooting for him.
I am Partizan fan and yes you are right, his defence is terrible, but that's not the only problem, he is most of the time not focused even on the offensive end. I cant count how many times i saw him hit 2 3 pointers in a row and acts like he won the game by himself, and then f up everything in the next 3 minutes. Talent is there yes, but he is far far away from being a good player on an nba team. He lacks discipline, something that nba requires. Also lets see next season if he can perfom in the euroleague.
@@nikolanikolic7873
That's not encouraging to hear.
But like most NBA prospects, he 's still virtually just a kid, so you never know how much these things might change. Maybe he'll find it in himself to learn the discipline and the competitive/professional attitude of a real pro. Maybe study & coaching & drills & experience will lead to a significant improvement in his defense (to where it's merely bad).
I hope that he, and all the young men (teenagers!) drafted that night, find a way to fulfill their potential... and Vukcevic's potential is enormous.
He looks great in the NBA for now
@@ThatGuy-hy9sr
Great is a bit too strong, but yeah, he looked much better in the season than when I watched him before it. I would watch during the season and think _Is this really that same guy?_ . He looked so much better. Great, no, but absolutely significantly better. Again, all these kids are young... ya gotta stand back and give them a chance to grow. Sometimes you get a nice reward for it. (Consider Avdija's growth from his rookie season... it can take time.)
Uncle Zeljko didn't give him enough minutes because Partizan were playing to win this year.
Next Dragan Bender. I think he'll be a bust.
well he's going 42nd so he can't really be a bust
He didint play in europe idk how he will play in nba
He looks like a problem
Dragan Bender 2.0 / Nikoloz Tsikitshkvili 2.0
@@mr.sinjin-smyth might be better
All European players are bad defensively? Have you ever seen nba basketball no one plays defense 😂
guy is delusional
So his floor is like Davis Bertans?
Overall best basketball players come from the Balkan countries
He ain’t Serbian. He is from Montenegro.
So, Serbian. Thanks for clarifying that.
No he is not anywhere near Jokić
thats not the point smh
You don't say!
Још је млад ,напредоваће
@@lockedinzee when they say Scary Potential, another 7'0 Serbian, on what other player from Serbia do you think? Second rounder, 42 pick, hmm🤔
Jokic was weak too, but Jokic had to spent another year after draft to get into shape. This guy will have to do the same, and spent another year training to get into best physical shape. Player like this will be close to useless in the NBA right away. Jokic actually did exercises for a 'strong man', like flipping the tire strengthening his shoulders and back out of all things.
