@@evangus no we haven't been there...this is our 1st time hearing of it.
Plz visit Beto Carreiro in Penha . The best Park tematic in S America. Is Like a Disney in Brazil.
another thing, we all love you in Brazil, but here is a COOL TIP Brazilians wont give you BARILOCHE, and possibly PATAGONY... Man you made this far think about it! strong dollar over there also!
All that rain was from a typhoon that passed by the state you guys were in previously Rio Grande do Sul and it dumped a ton of rain along with some really strong winds!
I have to say… the place you visited where the vendor was selling chimarrão, the blades you saw are used to cut the Brazilian BBQ meat, in the south they usually have Chimarrão and Brazilian BBQ together in the winter.
It does look a lot like the Dubai skyline. Wow, Brazil really is very modern and diverse! I would really love the tropical rains and strolling the beach in the cooler off season. Thanks for taking us along! Special place, glad you’re enjoying it. 😊
Thanks for rolling w/ us 🙂🤗
Go for it!!!

You guys are doing us brazilians a great favour by showing the country to the world... thank you
You guys are treating us nice. Thanks for watching! You have a lovely country. Problems just like everywhere else but all in all a wonderful country indeed!
@@TheYarbroscome to Brasília
Haha. Whenever i tell Brazilians i am moving there they get upset and say “dont come here” so its nice to read a brazilian happy that outside people are in their country.
To end your tour of southern Brazil I would recommend Curitiba,Foz do Iguaçu and Blumenau.
Thanks for the recommendations!
@@TheYarbros u must go to Iguazu Falls, this is one of 7 natural wonders of the world

Spectacular. Thank you for showing me around Brazil. All of my 2024 vacation will be spent visiting these places in Brazil. Muito Obrigada.

Balneário Camboriú is Very Nice
@letsgrabcoffee, I'm Brazilian and I support you in your vacation planning in this most tropical and diverse country in the world. Try to imagine yourself and your friends or family in the North Region, penetrating into the heart of the Amazon Forest on those typical rafts from that region, or visiting some cities in the Northeast, visiting the most incredible places and enjoying the typical food and the coexistence of the Northeastern people , it is very interesting to visit the Center-West Region where the capital of Brazil is located, the Pantanal of Mato Grosso, you cannot miss visiting the Southeast, that's right, anyone visiting Brazil would let you know the traditions of Minas Gerais, the Christ the Redeemer in Rio or the neighborhood of freedom where the largest Japanese community outside Japan lives, finally, closing with gifts, you need to schedule visits to Florianópolis and by car go to Bubai Brasileira - Balneário Camboriú, in Santa, I need to go to Gramados, Canelas are cities in the south of Brazil typical of the European region where German and Austrian immigrants build houses, but in that region from June to August it snows a lot and the cold is very strong. Now I need to practice a little Portuguese and feel a little bit of what it is to be truly happy.
I am getting so many ideas for my future Brazil trip with some friends.
I love watching your adventures. You have such a refreshing personality, the enthusiasm, and the happy and calm souls you guys exude. I wish you were my traveling friends, instead lol
I'm looking forward to many more videos!
If you love Pizza and Culture, go to São Paulo!
If you love the heat, go to Bahia!
If you love the nature, go to the Amazon!
If you love the future, go to Balneário Camboriú!
If you wanna fall in love, go to Rio!
Que maravilha ! Vocês estão aqui ! Sejam sempre bem vindos a nossa linda cidade ! 😍😍😍😍🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
Thank you!
You guys have seen of Brazil by now than most Brazilian will ever see in their lifetime. I myself lived in the U.S. for 24 years and I definitely have seen more of the U.S. than Brazil although I'm Brazilian. I'm glad to be back in Brazil and enjoy it more and be able to see the beauty where I couldn't see before. You guys have fun and enjoy life!
I think that in most cases, if you want to play any sport you can go talk anyone and ask “can we play the next match?” just simply asking “a gente pode jogar a próxima partida?”.
Most people are nice and will let you play with or against them.
Of course, what a way to meet ppl too.
Go see the Iguazu Falls in the city of Foz do Iguaçu, you're gonna love it!!!
I want to so bad....one day we'll be able to go and do everything we want!

unfortunately on the part of some Brazilians from other states, due to prejudice, as it is a country people and the region is not as developed compared to the others, but it is the region that has the most culture, incredible local foods such as cassava flour, tapioca and hominy. .

Indeed!
That part of Brazil doesn't have tropical weather, it's subtropical. It gets cold in the winter, even subfreezing temperatures and snow. Yes, there's snow in that state. Enjoy.
Interesting thanks for the info!
But you should clarify that it can only snow a little on the top of the mountains and not in the whole state (below a certain height above sea level, it cannot snow because, like you said, the climate there is subtropical).
Nordeste, Maceió calor de 30 graus
Damn I was born and raised in Balneário and went to study at the uni in Floripa and is so cool to see you guys discovering and enjoying all the places that always felt so personal, I've moved to europe a couple years ago and you filled me up with saudade de casa 😂
I tell the true I don't knows my only country?
Thanks for showing us some of the spots that we don't usually see in Brazil. You have some good finds. Happy travels 😊!
Thanks for watching! Brazilians have given us great recommendations on places to visit

You guys now more of Brazil than me, who lives here for 42 years 😅
Voces esqueceram Foz do iguaçú/PR.
The view from those cable cars looks so beautiful and relaxing!
It really was very relaxing.
The tallest building is the One Tower with 295m high. This is the tallest residential building in Latin America and is located on the south bar, next to the second largest building, the Yachthouse. A new 500m high building will be built soon, and will probably be the tallest strictly residential building in the world. Thank you for making such a beautiful video about our beloved Balneário Camboriu ❤
Our pleasure to be in such a tranquil place!
Can a foreigner live there when i get a visa?
@@K-10-limitless All foreigners are welcome to Brazil, and having legal documentation gives you access to various government benefits, such as access to the SUS (Unified Health System), as here in Brazil most medical care is free. If you have children, it is important to have the legalization documentation in days to be able to enroll them in schools, courses, etc.
@@K-10-limitless Yes, although I think one of the requirement for permanent resident status is being fluent.
I'm brasilian and i like the way you show my country.
I lived for 1 year in Balneário Camboriú and I've never been to this place with such a gorgeous view from above. I hope you have a good time in Brazil guys. Take care!
Thanks for watching! I hope it was a memorable year!
I was born in Blumenau, them i moved to Itajai, after a few year to Camboriú and lastly to Florianópolis where i lived for 10 year before moving to the USA. My family is still living spread around the cities i mentioned before. But the city that I miss most is Camboriú. The whole state of Santa Catarina is amazing, and you guys should visit the Serra do Rio do Rastro.
South Brazil actually has humid subtropical or warm temperate climate. In the higher areas, it's temperate oceanic. Love travelling with you!
Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
It's so cute seeing you guys trying to pronunce some Portuguese words. Amazing job!
You need to come back to this city in high season. It's insane! The city is infested with millions of tourists. It's chaos, but quite fun during New Year's Eve.
So glad you guys are having a good time!!!

11:51 _Chimarrão_ is the name given in Portuguese to an infusion that in Spanish is called _mate_ (because is made with the crushed leaves of a tree called yerba mate).
Yerba mate (ilex paraguariensis) grows naturally in the southwestern region of the Atlantic Rainforest (a jungle that originally stretched from parts of southern Brazil, northeastern Argentina and eastern Paraguay, to northeastern Brazil, always around the Atlantic coast; and today only 3% of its original territory remains).
_Mate/chimarrão_ contains caffeine and is drunk in Argentina, the extreme south of Bolivia, southern Brazil, southern Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and, for several decades now, Lebanon and Syria. Today there are yerba mate plantations in northeastern Argentina, southern Brazil and eastern Paraguay; where they let the yerba mate grow to the size of a large bush and no more than that. Also, is the only region in the world where this is produced.
Supposedly the Guaranis were the first tribe to prepare this infusion, using hollow gourds as a container where they placed the crushed leaves of yerba mate and hot water. It was through this people that Spanish and Portuguese learned about the infusion, but it seems that other ethnic groups in the region, such as the Kaingang (that were living in the area since much before Guaranis arrived from the southern part of the Amazonic jungle), already chewed the leaves of that tree before _mate_ was created as an infusion.
The current container where the crushed leaves are placed is called the same as the infusion (chimarrão/mate), and after the herb is placed, hot water is served (just for a sip) and drunk through a metal straw. Every time that a small amount is drunk, the hot water (which is usually contained in a thermo) is served again and it is drunk again, and so it is repeated until there is no more water.
Thank you!!!
@@TheYarbros If some day you want to know a little more about this infusion, there is a CZcams channel called Circle of Drink that was created by an American guy that was introduced to _mate_ while living in Argentina, and over the years created a company that imports yerba mate into United States.
On his channel, in addition to promoting his business, he explains a little about various things related to _mate_ to people who don't know about it. In fact, during the pandemic lockdown he was living in southern Brazil, working with local yerba mate companies. Right now I don't know where he is.
