For those who don't know why the food processor turned red:
Turmeric has a natural property by which it turns red whenever it comes into the contact of any base for instance, soap water. Turmeric is a natural indicator to tell whether a solution is acidic or basic in nature. Turmeric turns red when it comes in contact with a base however it remains yellow when it comes in contact with an acid.

For anyone curious who doesn’t understand Italian, that is a very popular “degreaser” in Italy used in cleaning to clean of grease and stains everywhere. I have a suggestion. Hot oil or butter. I noticed that when I cooked in a pan with turmeric stains and added butter to the hot pan at first the stain was still there, but then I wiped out the pan and added butter again and there was definitely less. Obviously be careful, especially with plastic.
