- Experience a Japanese bullet train (or Shinkansen) and Japanese food! I hop through 6 cities on a bullet train, and show you all the Japanese meals and snacks I ate.
The first couple of days are with my family, then I hop from Fukuoka (south of Japan) to Sapporo (northern Japan) with @LisaNguyen.

I'm Jeanelle, your world traveling, foodie friend. I love spotlighting international foods from my travels and my kitchen, blending my passion for eating and learning about new cultures. No boundaries, just incredible dishes and recipes that you can make at home. I used to be afraid to experiment in the kitchen, but I’m here to show you that cooking and baking can be SUPER simple.
🌍 I was born in the Philippines before my family immigrated to the United States. Having the best of both worlds allows me to share the incredible food that my family cooked, as well as the melting pot of cultures that I’ve experienced while traveling.
Let's explore the world through food and discover your next favorite dish! Thanks for being part of the Jeanelleats family, let’s eat, explore, and create delicious memories together 🍳🌈
🍓 WHOOO we're back for year TWO! Which dishes or snacks in this bullet train journey were new to you?

Your mom says ask pauline
😊
Off subject,
Do you sell ube slits or cuttings?
Girl you're not alone Everytime I take the BART train from San Francisco to Oakland I think that the tunnel will collapse and the ocean will get us😂😂😂😂
❤
In the US we have a thing called “veggie straws” they look like straws and have the illusion that they are good for you. Hate to say it’s just another empty calorie snack for kids. Clever marketing though.
YES I agree! I totally forgot about those. I used to eat them all the time as an excuse that it’s “salad” 😅
@@Jeanelleatsomg hiii
We have the Kiddylicious ones in the UK too. They taste pretty good, but there's hardly anything in them, both bag and substance!
Omg I love veggie straws sm
They’re good and they make me feel better about my eating choices. 😂
I had so much fun watching this, Jeanelle! I know it took a lot of effort, so thank you for taking us with you on your trip. Shinkansen hopping from Fukuoka to Sapporo must have taken a lot of planning. So jelly of all the food you tried. From the snacks and takeaways to restaurant meals - did you manage to finish all of it? Because if yes, I'm super impressed!
Nearly all of it! I had help from Lisa though!
I love the aspect ratio on the full length videos! and especially the continuity compared to watch assorted shorts! I really hope to see more content like this from you! You're incredibly skilled to make such videos! 💕🙌
wow! thank you! I am trying to make more long for content for you all so this comment is extremely encouraging! 😍
Please keep at it! I'm subscribing so I can be here to see! 💕 @@Jeanelleats
This was so fun to watch! I remember my first bullet train ride and eating. They had to snack cart from Tokyo to Kyoto. We brought Bento meal from the train station, but couldn’t resist the snacks from the cart. This makes me miss Japan so much! I will eat with you guys there on a future trip 🤤
i believe it! can't wait!
This was a trip ! Please do your 30 days bread series again ❤
I think I will! I gotta schedule out a time when I’m home for 30 days 🎉
14:33 Just FYI, the Japanese “salad” flavor is actually “salad oil” with salt. It’s never meant to taste like vegetables. For example, most of the light colored salted rice crackers(not the dark brown soy sauce flavored ones) are salad flavor.
Yes!!! Do it again next year!!! I’m here for it🥳🥳🥳🥳
Everything looks so good! You're makign me soo excited for my Japan trip 😍
Train hopping in Japan looks fun! Thank you for the video!
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for another fun video!
Anago(conger eel) and unagi(eel) look similar but they are different species. The package says anago, so if you expect richness of an eel, it should taste different😃
AHHH that makes so much sense! Thank you! So which one is the richer tasting one??
@@Jeanelleats Unagi is the richer and fattier one. On a side note, my ultimate unagi place is called Uemura, located in Hitoyoshi, Kumamoto. If you have a chance please give it a try.
Imagining the ittle joy of opening the decorated box and eating all of them. I bet the movie of Ghibi studio winning Oscar award makes its clear viewpoint...
The bullet train is definitely more fun than riding a plane
I’ve never been on either😊
I'm soooo hungry now. Btw I love how you all are so respectful and quiet on the train. That's something that I had issues with traveling to Japan with a tour group of Americans lol.
I’m very jealous of your family, it seems like you all care for each other so much.💗
I love your videos the first shorts i watched was you and lisa continue the great work 🎉❤
A lot of fun, very cool slice of life travel food vid. Cheers!
This was very cool. I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the food and snacks you, your family and Lisa tried with you during your bullet train tour of Japan. (A bucket 🪣 list wish trip of mine as well!) Until I can get there, this in the meantime was very interesting, informative, interactive and thoughtful! Thank you 🙏 🙏 🙏 You’re awesome! 🤩
In Hawai'i we sell the veggie Pretzel in stores. I grew up eating them and the other flavors. So good!
Right?? I’ve been missing out on them…we ate through the two packets 🥗
@@Jeanelleats they have them at Don Quijote. Next time you're in Hawai'i check that store out and Palama market next store. Palama market get good Korean food and snacks. DQ is all the Japanese food, snacks and other Japanese stuff.
Very well done and intererstingly made. As someone using trsins a lot in Germany I liked your presentation a lot.
This was so fun to watch! I want to visit Japan one day!
Great journey, nice video, watched the entire video. Thank you
I'm glad to find this! I just decided to go on my first solo trip to Japan.

Hi Jeanelle, welcome to Taiwan! Hope you enjoy your time here with the good food, coming from a Taiwanese-Australian 😂 Make me miss all the food there 🇹🇼
I absolutely LOVE the food in Taiwan! Thank you for the warm welcome 🥰
Will you do a mochi video? Gonna love it
Lisa is your sister😮 no wonder I thought you guys sounded alike😂❤❤❤❤
hahahah. Lisa and I aren't related. I just happened to ride the train with my sister and then Lisa on separate occasions
I hear the Shinkansen Bento are pretty legit
Be great if the subtitles where in larger font if u going 2025
Great insights in bullet train travel ❤
Thank u for sharing 0:15
What do you do with the bento boxes after eating?
I'd love to see 30 days of match😂❤
Oh herre gud!
It's probably because I am painfully...American...but I couldn't get into warabimochi when I tried it.
And oh my God Janelle and her sister look so much alike. At first, out of the corner of my eye, I thought it was her
That zunda mochi looks outstanding! Does Japantown in SoCal sell it?
i'm not sure but we actually found a one at our local Tokyo Central. We haven't tried it yet tho!
Bento boxes need to become more of a thing in America
Please do a 30 days bread challenge
What kind of leaves are these
❤❤❤
I've been watching your videos for like 3 years and only just realised I'm not subscribed 🤦🏻♀️
thank you so much for watching anyway! I really appreciate it!
I regret i watch this video 3am

Where is the bottled hot corn soup
When
Itsu
🤤🤤🤤🤤
Anyone catch the recipe?
You Did not get hot corn soup😂
LOL! Lets just say by this time, I was tired of corn soup!
Nice report~😻ニャ~
It is not a flex people to skip diner because you ate lunch
*Momiji manju
AH is that what it’s called?
@@Jeanelleats Yea, I think Momiji is the name of the brand, but the actual food is called momiji manju. It's a variant of traditional Japanese manju
Ive never understood how these influencers can eat so much. I can only eat twice a day, or maybe 3 if the meals are smaller. I see them eating giant bowls of ramen, pork buns, bento boxes, sushi, and just so much food in each sitting. It makes me sick a little, so its hard for me to watch a whole video. I like the videos, dont get me wrong, but I dont like that they make me sick
I'm pretty sure they eat with other people ( mostly other creators) so they actually only have like two bites of everything and share it amongst themselves.
@@coffeecoffin598exactly what you said PLUS a lot of editing
I never understood how they keep their skin so flawless when eating all those greasy, sweet foods🙈

I wish I could go on a trip like this! But until then, it’s really cool to experience it through this exceptionally well done video. I know it’s a lot of work - thank you for sharing with the world, the final product is worth the effort. 🤙🏼
wowowoowow. Thank you! You’re so sweet!
