Never understood why they didn't make the library the third room.
tru dat my guy
Yes it doesn't make any sense!
Maybe books would be a health code nightmare? I still can’t figure out how Rainforest Café manages. How do they clean?
@@TiffanyAllen1784 They wouldn't need to be real books. If they can make it look like it's snowing and have a floating enchanted rose, they could do the same with books.
Kevin Adams Projections of books or 2D wallpaper wouldn’t be particularly convincing. The thing that makes the library so incredible is its grandeur. I imagine a scaled-down version would be disappointing. Imagineers will have no doubt considered it. Presumably there’s a valid reason for going another way.
I’m sure at some point next year they will go back to quick service lunch because of how popular it was but times are tough right now 🤷♀️
To whoever is reading this: I hope you have a wonderful day!
And you! 💐
XOXO Nicole the same to you!!
Best Wishes!
Thank you! I hope you have a wonderful day as well! :D
This restaurant is very beautiful, but I don't think it's very "picky eater friendly", especially during dinner hours. I do think it's worth it to dine here at least once if you're a fan of the movie. I couldn't decide if I wanted to dine in the Ballroom or the West Wing, so I went on two different days during breakfast. I had a nice time taking in the atmosphere, but I wouldn't dine there again just for the food alone. This place really is all about the atmosphere.
At $62 per person, that atmosphere is cost prohibitive, unfortunately.
I wish they did not change the lunch menu to be an expensive pre platted meal. I liked the regular quick service much more.We ate here for lunch for years and now we will not return.
I just texted my best friend who I go to Disney with saying our trip to BOG this past November was our last 😕
Same for us. I liked the variety of the old menu and it was so delicious!! Not going to drop that kind of $$ on those types of foods.
I believe it's only temporary because of the circumstances
It's only temporary, when the park goes back to normal lunch will be quick service and breakfast will return
Us too. My fam and I always book BOG for breakfast or lunch and we love it but with the price fix.. We won't go back. Not worth it in my opinion. So hoping they will bring back the QS again 🤞... We love using our QS credits here.
My husband and I went for dinner last August on the first night of our honeymoon trip. They were very tripped up by his chocolate allergy. Everything was tasty and we did split a wine flight. The Beast walked in right as a table across from us in the Rose Room had a proposal. But in the end we definitely would agree with you AJ at the price point it was a one and done. Definitely too pricey for lunch.
My favorite experience the last trip was actually eating dinner on the front porch at Tony's. Great place to just take in the Main St USA atmosphere.
Not going back til long after this is over but I'm still doing my usual browsing hotels etc just because it's a good distraction.
I love the 1991 “Beauty and the Beast” and being a foodie, I would love to eat inside the forbidden West Wing, but for that same price, I’ll eat far superior food at Boma or Yak & Yeti.
Breakfast is really good at this restaurant. My family makes it a must when we do Magic Kingdom. We will be going next year when things are settled. Cinderella’s Table for lunch or dinner!
I love your videos! Really makes me feel like I’m there 🥰
Sweet Dreams Bake Shoppe agreed
Yup!
exactly why i watch these
Be Our Guest breakfast was one of our favorite meals we had in Disney! I hope they bring it back someday🤞
NessieMay 💯! Only temporary for sure! Next year!
This was one of my favorite places for lunch. So sorry they changed that. I won't be going back unless they change the menu back to the way it used to be. Way too expensive.
As a HUGE Beauty and the Beast fan, eating at this restaurant was the highlight of our trip. I would most definitely go again. We had the dinner, which I thought was very good. Meeting the Beast was one of the best parts, so it kind of stinks that you cant do that right now. However, I probably won't be visiting Disney at all until after the craziness is over.
Veronica Dowdy, my wife the same. We go next year with twice the money! Agree with you. Not till this crazy is over.
My husband and I went there on Saturday for lunch - definitely agree with the one and done statement. I totally think it was worth it, we weren't mad about the price being set as it was for the experience we got. Some fantastic food, wine and top notch service but there's just so many other places we want to eat at that I think it will be a while before (if) we return. Definitely a must for a special occasion lunch/dinner though!
I want to thank you for preparing me for my trip (returned Tuesday) your information was extremely helpful.
I find these videos to be epic! What I mean is you all are on top of it! I can’t believe how much I know compared to hardcore Disneyland/world fans. I keep sharing these to help my friends. Thank you guys so much!
We were just there last week and loved it. I think it is worth it going for the first time especially for dinner
We used our QUICK SERVICE DINING PASS to eat breakfast and we loved it! I originally had decided to pay out of pocket for dinner and booked a reservation.Afterwards I looked at the menu and I knew my finicky kids would probably only nibble & pick at their food at best. Food I’d just spent $30 on! Since breakfast was included with the quick service we did that instead, the menu was much more palatable for the kids and my wife & I LOVED it! It’s really sad that there’s no breakfast anymore (or dining passes). Until the dining pass returns we probably won’t be dining there again, unfortunately.
We just booked our reservations for my birthday for the first time! Thank you so much for this informational video like always AJ!
Nahiku Passi, you won’t be disappointed!
Great thorough video. Thank You❤️
Thank you for this new update!
You have helped me to pick between Cinderella and b&b. Thanks so much!
My family loves watching your videos! And we have never been this week! You all deserve 1 million!
i loveee the quick service lunch so i booked a reservation for my trip in a week. saw that lunch had the dinner menu and quickly canceled. that food is way too heavy for mid-day august in florida 😬
I think at the minute people aren't going for once in a lifetime trips so just stick to places that have the food you love. Experience dining like this isn't a high priority right now.
Why don’t we have one of these in Paris? WHHHYYY? 😭 If Florida gets the Ratatouille attraction can’t we have this?! It’s almost criminal that the French park has almost no references (the scene in the fairy tale canal boat ride barely counts) to Beauty and the Beast.
Yes, hopefully they will get a transplant of the new Beauty and the Beast area going into Tokyo. The original Disneyland Paris really needs a new E-Ticket ride, but I suppose covid will not work in its favour.
@@marcussheen Their primary focus right now is on the Studios park expansions, then there's the Disney Village renovations to handle. After that, their original agreement when they bought the land includes a third park that they're supposed to have started working on by some time roughly in the next decade, or they lose the land, so I doubt we'll see much done in Parc Disneyland any time soon....
I understand the excitement of eating in the castle, but if I'm going to go all out for a meal, I'll go to Epcot and eat at M. Paul's. We ate there a couple years ago and had our socks knocked off by the experience. It was quite expensive, but it was worth it! The wait staff is from France so you really feel like you're there. And, since we got a window seat, we got to see the fireworks. A total package. It was simply a fabulous, fabulous night.
We ate in the west wing back when it first opened and afterwards got our photo with the beast. What a fun time!
We love BOG....it’s definitely a must for us when we visit...we do lunch mostly but sometimes dinner too...just love the atmosphere!
The atmosphere has changed, your meal is set, and the Beast just walks by.
My husband and I loved the dinner we had there in January!
our original ADR's back in May had this for lunch, and I was looking forward to it, but now, eh? Maybe we'll do this one for dinner instead.
The room that Belle designed looks awesome. I would totally love to eat here. Beauty And The Beast is special to me because it is the first musical I ever saw on Broadway,
We’ve had all 3 meals here on past visits. While I really did enjoy it, I agree that it’s definitely not worth that new signature meal price tag. I’m glad we’ve been several times because we probably won’t be going back.
Lunch as a Quick service was so Great... a very Good Deal and Food... Hope they will bring it
back
They are trying to squeeze the money out of you, and not give you all the disney magic. If the cut their prices, more people would come. But they think the 1% will pony up.
For all the beauty of the castle I will not dine there again. I worked so hard to get two reservations and was sooooooo excited and between the food and service I just cannot deny my disappointment. Although the manager was gracious in listening to my complaints and fully seemed to understand I wanted my experience to be dinner at the castle (not a conversation with the manager). I stand by my opinion that he was deliriously kind and wonderful, and if it was in his power to change those experiences I am certain he would have. I hope the changes go well and should you get to dine at the castle that you have a magical experience.
I’m going to Disney for 5 days mid August and the 2 Magic kingdom days I was able to book a be our Guest restaurant dinner for both. I’m a huge Beauty and the beast fan (I hate the live action) and always get as many dinner reservations as I can. Honestly, with all my food restrictions this is definitely one of my favorite places to eat! Sure there is plenty of yummy food elsewhere for less $ but I go in knowing full well I’m paying extra to see the beast and dine in the castle. I used to eat at Cinderella‘s table when Belle was still there just to get a photo with Belle. Obviously this isn’t for everybody but for me not being able to ride everything that I want and do everything that I want due to physical limitations, the addition of Bells’ Village, the castle, and the extra photo opportunities make it totally worth it to me!!!!!!!!!! And yes, I volunteer for a spot to carry a goofy plastic cut out so that at the end I can get a photo with Belle in the enchanted tails with Belle attraction. I’m an adult but it’s still fun to imagine and have fun in the happiest place on earth. :)
Thank you for these updates it’s making my anxiety about this upcoming trip ease. Thank you for keeping us updated and sharing your tips and tricks!!!!!!!
I’m going to Disney this Christmas but I hope everything is better than what it is now! Any tips? I went there last Christmas 2015 but I don’t remember much so I need a couple tips so I don’t stress and overpack and etc. I also love your videos! Keep up the great work :) ❤️
❣️👏🏻❣️👏🏻❣️ Another great video! Best B-roll on DisTube!
I had the best scallops I’ve ever eaten at Be Our Guest
Lindsey C me too!
Ohhhh! I love scallops!
I am planning an epic disney trip in 4 years. I know that's far in the future but i want my children to remember it for the rest of the their lives so I'm waiting for my youngest to grow older.
@@melodramatic7904 Good for you! Infants may smile and cue at mickey and mommy and daddy well feel good. But you want yours to remember, and enjoy. Good for you.👏👏👏👏
I’m so disappointed this has been changed. I’ve tried for our last three trips since it opened and have never been able to get in. That pricing is way too much for our family/budget.
Ma chère Mademoiselle, it is with deepest pride and greatest pleasure that we welcome you tonight. And now, we invite you to relax. Let us pull up a chair, as the dining room proudly presents, your dinner
We love it and when we we're there it's on the dining plan. When we are at WDW we don't eat anywhere unless it's on the dining plan.
The last time we ate at Be Our Guest the dessert trio included a Raspberry Macaroon rather than a Lemon Macaroon. We really loved the Raspberry one. It’s a shame it’s gone. It was the best macaroon I’ve ever had. You would really need to like raspberry because it had a very strong flavor. I’m not a lemon fan at all. Hopefully the raspberry one will come back for our next trip. Thanks for sharing.
I still miss the menu from when the restaurant first opened a few years ago...I liked the options more than the fixed dinner menu they have now. It would be cool if they bring that back.
I had breakfast there last year and that was great
Love your videos! I’m supposed to go in October
Hop the Magic is there for you.
Dip the bread into the French onion soup, just fabulous
Just like at TGI Friday's. Oh my.
I'm so salty. I canceled my disney birthday trip for October 😭 nothing would have been the same. I miss it so much. We'll go next year
Have been here a few times for both breakfast and lunch and it was one of my favorite places to eat in MK! However, at the price now I don’t think it would be worth it, even for the amazing atmosphere
Dined there in 2012 and it was a one and done!
At a set meal, $62.00..it a none and done
@Make it happen channel Set meal, @$ 62.00 not geting to meat the beast in person. Makes it a none and done.
This video is making my bird chirp so much.... he loves it lol
This was a lovely video c:
Please can you do a video on the best vegetarian/vegan dishes x
"If you can say 'lifelike' to an animated movie." Well, you said it!
Don't think I'll do lunch (or dinner). I've done lunch every visit since it opened. This is a great time for a break!
Was there last summer. Great experience but desert was disappointing for the money
I just went this past week and as a HUGE beauty and the beast fan I was speechless, I even cried as I saw the ballroom for the first time… HOWEVER, I agree, prices are ridiculous, thankfully it was just me and my brother so we paid 130 dlls but this was one and done for me as well, loved the experience though
Hi. I've eaten there three times. Dinner with immediate family before I was married, lunch with me and my sis (we were amazed with the rose and how the waitstaff found us sitting the west wing because we can sometimes be very easily impressed and sometimes naive 😁) and then dinner again with my now hubby. Each time was great. But all those visits were before the pre fixe meal change. Not sure if I would rush to return but at least it looks like a lot is included (I may have spent that much anyway because I def remember getting the charcuterie and dessert the 1st time I went)
Agree with the vlog- experience and theming is better than the set menu food
I've been to be our guest restaurant in 2019 and it was a good experience but wouldn't go back I think one and done is enough
At these prices none and done. No Magic.
I'm still waiting to see if anyone has tried to use their Tables In Wonderland card during lunch at BOG. It was previously only valid during dinner when it was table service but now lunch = dinner for pricing & service, so shouldn't the discount be applicable at lunch?
Thumbs up for DFB guideeeee
I am curious, I am guessing that Disney has discontinued all of their buffets, including my two favorite at the contemporary at the wave and California Grill brunch. Have you heard anything about these coming back in the future?
I really hope eventually they change it back to QS for breakfast and lunch 😭😭
🤞🤞🤞🤞hope they bring back fast service when we eventually get to rebook!!
Going next weekend and have reservations what are your opinions on rather or not to go
*not really a beauty and the beast fan
*really just going for the experience
*going for lunch
Be Our Guest was such an insane let down when I finally got to go.
I couldn't get reservation when we went in 2016, we got a reservation for 2019. I had waited years to eat there and all my Disney friends were talking about how breath taking it was.
The food was meh. The waitress ignored me when I told her I had a dairy and nut allergy (which I had to tell her, every other restaurant I was asked) and it felt like every course I had to send back since I couldn't eat it as served.
It was my only negative experience in the trip. 🤣
This video is from a year ago but I’m looking to make a reservation now and as of July 2022 the lunch is still pre-fixe
Try the grey stuff, it’s delicious!!! Lol!!! 😂
To me the French dip was awesome. Seeing that they only have the dinner menu we won’t be back. Also the fact that you would have to drop over 200 for a party of 4
Was so excited that we scored lunch reservations for February, Then I Saw This Video!!! Not so excited anymore. There is going to be a lunch reservation available in February if anyone is looking.
We love to stay at Pop Century!
man, me too! Im joesing for a tie die cheesecake now! it's been too long! :)
I’m so glad I have been able to eat there 2-3 times because unless they change the lunch menu back, I won’t be dining there again.
Question when it comes to adults ordering children's entrees. I know they're probably going to charge you the adult price; do you get a larger portion? did they give you hassle about it? ( asking for an adult picky eater who much prefers children menus options)
So Dessert is included? A cast member told me that it was not included when I booked, but a drink was? 🤗
It was my understanding that Pris fix meals should include appetizer, main entree and dessert- maybe beverage, Im not 100% on alcohol
I love your videos
Very Cool!! 💗
that is so cool.
We ate there on 7/30/20 and definitely did not receive the level of service I had expected for the money. One of the servers clumsily set our soup bowls down and spilled some. They brought my wife the regular soup instead of the gluten free version she had requested. My wife’s entree arrived at least 5 minutes after mine and my daughter’s. One of the servers asked again what she ordered after bringing us ours. No one came by to ask how our meals were a few minutes after getting them (standard practice at any decent restaurant). We were not asked if we wanted any refills. Food was good, but definitely overpriced. Not planning to go back again.
Cool video!
I would totally go if 1. it wasn't still so expensive, and 2. the pandemic wasn't happening which puts Florida into a hotspot. I mean reservations and bookings aren't being made for dates until several months from now, so who know how all this could change by then.
Now that it’s all dinner, do they take Tables in Wonderland all day?
I was there this time last year🥺 And we went to Be Our Guest for lunch😢 Missing this sm🥺🥺
I will probably walk out if we dont get to eat in the ballroom... thats the only reason I want to eat there. I'm going mid day on a Tuesday so hopefully it won't be a problem
Recent visit 11/2020 . Save your money, $62 set price per person and you don't even get a tablecloth on your table. If your seated in the huge middle dining room atmosphere is lacking. Beast comes out about every 30 minutes walks around the room for a few minutes then disappears. Food was acceptable , but for the price was expecting more. Disney didn't deliver on this one.
Can older kids order from the kids menu?
Do you know if i can order a kid menu even if im an adult?
No you can't
Last September my family and I went to Disney, I didn't get to go to be our guest I was taking a backstage tour of Epcot at the time but the rest of my family went to Be our Guest for Lunch and none of them where that impressed.
IN THAT ONION SOUP ONCE MY NANA FOUND A LITTLE PIECE OF LOBSTER CLAW IS HER SOUP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL !
If Be Our Guest is a one and done. What would be your pick for the same experience in WDW where you'd always go back.
Liberty tree travin.
Can we see what you look like? Been watching for so long, I feel we need to see your face at some time to know who is always talking to us.
AJ we love your videos and all the information you give us.....,but,the music is too loud and makes it difficult to concentrate on the audio...it s as loud as your voice ...Please,Please, turn the music accompaniment down.
Thanks AJ.
J.
no no no the photography is very much important too, lolol thank you for bringing that up
I'm upset. I loved breakfast there, and the lunch was great. Dinner has been hit or miss on the 4 times I have had dinner. It's getting a bit pricy for me. I will take Skipper Canteen any day from now on .
Heck a turkey leg is very good, and only a bit over priced. $11.xx
We ate dinner at BOG before it was turned into a signature dining experience. It was meh. I was floored when I had heard that they had turned it into a two credit meal because I just didn't think it was worth the single credit. Maybe that's the reason that they took away the quick service options because honestly that was the only way I would eat there.
Many of the signature diners are Meh. But by calling them "signature" you can charge more for them.
I have only three (3) meals at Disney that I loved
1) the Ham anbd halibut, Coral Sea Epcot
2) Prime Rib, Cinderella's Magic Kingdom
3) Pot Roast, Liberty Tree Tavern Magic Kingdom
The rest were meh, to bleeeck.
Remember the disproven wine snobs. Most if not all base it on the lable. Or to impress the on looker.
But heck I like a Turcky Leg, just think $11.xx is a bit over priced.
Is there anywhere else to get The Grey Stuff?
you can MAKE it at home, DFB has a Disney recipe food card on the website where you can make it and a number of other tasty Disney treats!
I wouldn’t go at the current price of $62 for adults and $37 per child. I’ve been a handful of times, one of my favorite times was snagging a late lunch qs reservation and watching them switch over for dinner. Also, going after Christmas for the holiday hangover with xmas decorations still being up. It was always empty in the late afternoons (last possible time to reserve) and I always felt like we had the place to ourselves. This for me is definitely a one and done-the food is lackluster compared to other meals I’ve had on property and the ballroom when full of people echos and sounds like a cafeteria. Personally-its more fun to walk through after eating qs than to have a full meal.
Whats the dress code?
can you order off the kids menu if you're an adult?
You may be charged as an adult.
The filet at be our guest was better than my filet at le cellier!
Disappointed about the change. We had reservations for lunch in June, but we postponed our trip for this Fall, but will not be eating there now. Too much money for my family of 5 for lunch.
Be Our Guest or Steakhouse 71 ? More specifically which one has better French Onion Soup ?
