Do you still count Cale as a touring pro? He's only going to play 4 DGPT events and Worlds. He's playing some MP40 tourneys.
Most people haven't actually putt on the MVP Black Hole Portal V2. It's not crazy new anymore but it's expensive and heavy and you don't see it around much if at all. More chains vs previous version and galvanized instead of stainless. Go back and watch OTB and tell me any basket catches that good. And look at the actual chain assembly specs vs other baskets. No other basket has that many chains and it catches better because of it.
DGA Mach 7 does have a band around the top however it's tucked behind the rest of the upper chain link assembly. We have the 7s on a local course around here & after putting on them for nearly 2 years they do about as good of a job, potentially better, than a new Innova Discatcher.
I don't think Holyn's inability to C2 putt was the reason why she was going OB. She was simply spraying her shots horribly. Her timing was way off. It's not like she was trying to be more aggreessive to get closer to the basket. Maybe you could say her inability to putt from C2 put more mental pressure on her drives to execute. But I would attribute this more to being just how Holyn gets sometimes in final rounds and in general, regardless of how she is putting that weekend. Sometimes her mind and body seem to be completely detached from each other. And I say this being a huge Holyn fan who roots for her and hopes she can figure it out because she has so much potential.
If Walmart and Target and lower prices so can the DGPT.
Normal size baskets better than small baskets. Logical conlusion: Make baskets bigger. Steve Dodge proposed this already years ago

True, although I think most people agree the USDGC course is goofy, but it gets a pass because of its great history. The OTB course is disliked by many and doesn’t have history backing it up.
