Mr. Fleetwood is truly a class act. Wish that there were more like him.
He knew. Fly in generators.
Agree. Let's hope that more people are supporting the people of Maui and Hawaii in this tragic time and the rebuilding to come. There are local people there helping 24/7, but there could be anonymous donors out there that we don't know of. Please help if you can. Thank you.
Mick is an amazing human!
We were never allowed upstairs at his restaurant and downstairs by his drums they served the most watered down drinks I've ever been served. We always ended up at Cheeseburgers in Paradise and that was fine as the wait staff was always the best.
Read about his mismanagement of band money. He's a class act, uh, addict.
Mick is a great human.. he'll have helped countless numbers of people when this is all said and done.
Heck of a good dude. I only met him once
Mick Fleetwood showing himself to be a class act. Good on ya, Sir.
God bless you Mick for getting supplies to Maui and for your help in rebuilding it. ❤✝️
wot supplies? Pampers?
@@kristofthibaud8491 he was in LA when he heard about the fires. He bought a ton of water and food supplies for the people on Maui and chartered a plane to get it to them right away. He said he will send more supplies there and will do a benefit concert to raise money. What have You done to help those people?????!
He bald
I went to his restaurant and gallery on the bottom floor in April and was supposed to go back in November. I got married here and have been going to Maui since I was a child. My heart breaks for all the people of Maui and those who have lost loved ones. I am so sorry for your loss. Mick Fleetwood is a class act - thank you for all you are doing! I hope and pray that Lahaina comes back in the future stronger and better than ever. Praying for you Maui!
I’m glad you included Mick Fleetwood in this tragic loss, he would be the best person to do a huge fundraiser and will succeed and build Maui back. 🙏
Been to Fleetwoods twice. Most recently, I scattered my dad's ashes nearby under the banyan tree.
I'm speechless seeing the devastation.
So glad Mick is looking out for the locals who he clearly loves
I doubt the Hawaiian appreciate your ash dump, but it's all ash now.
@@kookietherapy9398 probably not, to be honest. And, true

Mick has been giving to this community for decades, truly a good man. I pray all his employees are alive and well and I pray the beautiful Hawaiian people recover from this travesty!
@@missshell1222 He didn't? You need to blast it on all his social media. He did an interview saying his 100 employees are his number 1 priority.
My wife and I just visited Fleetwoods and Maui in May. It was a beautiful restaurant and I pray for all those affected by the fire. Prayers for Maui and Lahaina.
Fat lot of good prayers are. Where was your made-up god thing before the fire?
Mick is an amazing man!!! Full of positivity!
I'll take him over Oprah, any day !!! His 💗 is in the right place.
Thanks Mick; sorry that fire got you, too. Your music has bought pleasure to many. You are showing the heart ❤ within it.
Fleetwood Mac is such a special ensemble.
It's amazing to learn of his compassion in the midst of these tragic events.
sure man not
it’s amazing, how is that? They just want your money which will never reach Maui.

We love you Mick, and we love Lahaina. Married 43 years, we spent many many wedding anniversaries on Maui. Renewed our vows there on our 25th with our entire family. So many memories. We are sending what we can to Red Cross for the Maui wildfires, and encourage everyone to do what they can to help people. Praying daily for those mourning loved ones and the loss of homes and businesses. Lahaina must not be lost. It must be rebuilt. It taught people around the world about Hawaiian history and culture. We pray it will be doing so again in the future. The loss of life is tragic, and we hope those left behind will be cared for and comforted.
I have no idea who this guy is but I'm glad that he's helping out his staff.
Never Heard of Fleetwood Mac from back in the 80's? One of the best Groups of Bands in the Music Industry. Great Music. 😊
Seronseron, I’m kinda old now! Fleetwood Mac was a band formed in the 1960’s with band members from England and America. My friends and loved their stuff, especially “Black Magic Woman”. They had many hits. You might want to check out their music.
My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to visit Lahaina year and we saw the Banyan tree and the surfers in the beautiful water. Went to Captain Jacks for lunch. Just a beautiful perfect day. So hard to believe it's gone. So sorry for all of the people that lost their homes, loved ones and pets. God bless you and praying he gets you through these tough times. 😢
Don't FORGET Puerto Rico is still struggling to recover. Another beautiful place out of sight, out of mind.
Let us Pray. God will hear us
@@lorettasanchez1790 maybe you should do something useful, like vote for people who enact real policy change instead of giving tax cuts to billionaires
Or maybe there’s not not enough billionaire people living in Puerto Rico for the hive mind to care

Enjoyed Easter on the rooftop of Fleetwood's on Front Street this year with my family. Great memories. My heart goes out to Lahaina.
Mick Fleetwood is a good man.
Such a terrible tragedy. I posted before and after pics on my channel and its so heartbreaking. Pray for Maui.
Nice attempt to get some views.
Trying to capitalize financially on others misery.
The people who are off to the side operating their business with no hoopla end up being the heroes of the day. Just as Fleetwood played in the background of Fleetwood Mac, but provided it's essential rhythm, he has successfully operated Fleetwood's on Front Street without fanfare and is now coming to the aid of his fellow neighbors. We need more good souls like him
Heartbroken. I live in Colorado but spent many a vacation on Maui. And always visited Fleetwoods on Front Street. Beautiful restaurant with beautiful views and beautiful people who worked there. My husband and I saw Mick Fleetwood play a concert there, and Stevie Nicks was in the audience. So many lovely memories. Praying for all that have lost their homes, businesses and Ohana (family).
Flew on a plane to Hawaii for the first time in 1977. A dude named Mick Fleetwood was on that plane. I barely knew who he was and I was surprised to see a British rocker on a plane from California to Hawaii. It wasn't until this video, decades later, that I learn he actually lives there. Wishing the best for him, his staff and all who've been impacted by this devastating fire.
I absolutely love Mick Fleetwood. I’m so sorry to all the people of Maui.
Mick is one of the last of a caring breed such a wonderful human being!
Have been to your restaurant and have beautiful memories of Lahaina and now it’s devastation. Thank you for your generosity and calling all people to help, no matter where we live. 😢❤
So well said Mick. What a horrific tragedy. 🙏 for all those affected for this long road ahead in recovery.
It was a planned event...don't believe what you see on TV
Mick Fleetwood has such a kind soul God Bless Everyone in Maui prayers
I’m sorry to hear it for him and everyone else who lost everything. Tragic for sure!
He's a millionaire, you think this sets him back? Id feel sorry for the regular people.
He didn’t lose everything. His bank account has more money in it than most Americans could earn in 10 lifetimes.
@@nofilter5623Regular people can’t afford to live in Hawaii. It’s mostly rich people that live there.

What a kind heart!
What a legendary guy
Mick has and always will be a legend and humble human being! and in great health for his age too.
After one their gigs at the Boston Garden in the late 1970's, Mick Fleetwood et. al. visited backstage at my dad's theater in the suburbs where one of their buds was playing. "Could we get a case of Heinekens?" he asked me as the band walked in. It was my pleasure - indeed!
I tip my hat to you Mick. Thank you for helping out at Lahaina. And thank you for co-founding the Music Group of the Century - FLEETWOOD MAC!!!!
I feel bad for everyone going through pain & loss, Hawaii is such a beautiful place and I’ve always wanted to live there, but unfortunately I’ve never even gotten there. Bless you all! 💜
Thank you, Mick, for what you do for this community.
He hasn't done anything for his employees except rescind insurance and earned PTO time but OK!
I just can't believe the devastation on the island. My prayers to all.
He’s one of the good ones. Thank you Mick.

Mick is just the man to put together a fundraiser! I'll probably never be able to afford to go to Hawaii but I've always loved and respected their beautiful land and culture. 🙏
A loss like this is on a scale of a decade or more to fully recover.
What a cruel twist that his restaurant's sign survived while the rest all went up in flames.

They'll rebuild it out of WOOD! People are BRILLIANT!
Hats off to you Mr. Fleetwood.

I Know It Won't Happen Overnight But I Pray That Everything Can Be Rebuilt And Improved Upon As Soon As Humanly Possible. 🙏🤟🌈
So sorry for the entire island! I lived through a major flood in 1977, and remember when the sun came up amidst all the devastation. I have doubled down on my prayers for everyone. Renewal does come, but so terribly slow in comparision.
I really respect Mick Fleetwood, he is a class act. He is really a special person. I pray for the people of Maui. They need so much help. I am sure it is hard living on a island, not like here where you can just get in your car and go to a safer place. It is such a tragedy. The people need time to heal, pay respects to all that was lost. I hope and pray the island of Maui and the town of Lahaina will survive. I hope the Hawaiian spirit will remain in Lahaina. I remember going to Lahaina many years ago and how special it really was. You could feel something that was really special. There are always rainbows on the islands of Hawaii, that is one thing I do remember. I hope the rainbows will give them hope. I hope the Banyan Tree will survive and it will give the people some home and the rainbows will give them peace.
Been there several times. One of the most beautiful places on Earth I have ever seen. Lot's of artists, craftsmen. cuisine. restaurants. I slept under the Banyan Tree one night. I woke up and said, "I have fulfilled a life long ambition, I'm a beach bum." Someday I'll tell you the story about the last time I saw Fleetwood Mac.
I met this man back in the 1990s. What a gentleman. God bless you sir!
Way to go, Mick Fleetwood.
He could sell online-only tickets, where you buy the ticket with a donation (you set the price) and get a passcode to watch the benefit concert online. I would definitely donate to that!
Don’t stop thinking about tomorrow - indeed! Love you Mick.
God Bless Mick!
At 1:51, we hear a snippet of "Rattlesnake Shake", a song Fleetwood Mac originallly recorded back in the 60's when they were a traditional blues and blues-rock band with 3 guitarists including the legendary Peter Green, long before Christine [nee' Perfect❤] McVie and later Stevie Nicks (😖) and Lindsey Buckingham joined the band. I love their blues-rock period, and I like the somewhat psychedelic period of records like "Mystery to Me" and "Bare Trees", but they probably should have hung it up after "Rumours". (I include the above information for the younger folks who might not know about the band's early history ---- For instance, did you know that Black Magic Woman was actually a Fleetwood Mac song and not written by Santana?). Anyway, I'm very sorry for the loss of life as well as the loss of homes and businesses, and hopefully Fleetwood and others with a little bit of money and clout can help the rebuilding and recovery process go faster.
I was fortunate enough to meet Mr. Fleetwood at the Coach House and got to hear some incredible performers. Mick, you told me and I think about this everyday, "Keep pursuing your dreams and never give up!" -I wish everyone on Maui the strength and courage to get through terrible tragedy! Sending Our Love from San Diego, CA ♥♥♥
Mick is the perfect example of someone moving to Hawaii and embracing the culture. So many people come to Hawaii and never do thus ruining the overall culture of the islands. Hawaii was once one of the most innovating and forward thinking countries in the world pre US occupation.
What country was it? Lol
@@arresthillary9502 By 1893 (before its illegal annexation), the Hawaiian Kingdom was not only a sovereign nation, but it maintained over 90 legations (embassies) and consulates throughout the world.
Becoming part of the united states was the best thing that could have happened to Hawaii
This is a blessing. If there’s one thing people need during a catastrophe besides food, water, and shelter, it’s 70s music.
I've read MIck's biography. Such a wonderful man and legendary drummer. He's survived divorces, band member breakups, bandmates battling mental illness and always soldiered on. It’s important to keep Lahaina as an important historic and cultural site and in the hands of Native Hawaiians.
I hope Mick will support Native Hawaiians in retaining their prime real estate in Lahaina. They need advocates who they feel authentically support them.
Investors and real estate people are already knocking on their door.
