- Fleetwood Mac co-founder Mick Fleetwood has told Sky News he felt "helpless" as he watched flames destroy the town he has called home for more than 20 years.
The British star was in Los Angeles as he watched the disaster unfold.
Nearly 100 people died when wildfires destroyed Lahaina on the island of Maui.
Fleetwood owned a popular restaurant in the town but that was destroyed in the fire.

What a humble man he is, with his head screwed on and his heart plugged in. Wonderful.
Well put!
What a caring individual. Total respect. Prayers for all the victims of the fires.
I have alot of respect for Mick Fleetwood. He is really amazing.
Man gave an HONEST interview and talks about what is IMPORTANT. God Bless.
A genuinely good man with his eyes wide open to reality.👍
He sounds like a person that truly loves the community he has become a part of and wants to help. From how he speaks I don't doubt he'd help all his employees financially since they are all part of his "ohana". I've seen it happen where I live after hurricanes..then covid shut downs....Owners recognizing the value of the people that helped them be successful. And I'm glad he deflected the reporter's moronic statement about "climate change" causing the fire! What a stupid question to bring in while discussing what happened only days ago. Do reporters get paid extra each time they mention climate change now??
Mick will rally a mega concert with F Mac and all their friends. A TV-shown day across the globe sort of like "Live Aid" but for the community of Lahaina so that the local people can rebuild not only their homes but the town itself. It will happen. It will most likely be in LA or SF. Money will come pouring in through donations, tickets, charity and ad/ppw revenue. I can see it coming. It will be magnificent...

He was the very first thing I thought of when I heard of the fire, even though I have an uncle who lives on the island. He's fine.
i thought of Mick immediately the moment I heard about the fires, Sometimes prayers aren't enough.
Climate change?!?!? Seriously!?!?!
Oh goody, i was so worried about all the rich celebrities who lost a fraction of their wealth.
They lost nothing, it's insured. For that matter all the property should be insured.
@@philfortner1805Insurance is void for acts of God. The insurance companies will invoke this clause so they don't have to pay out.
I agree with your sarcasm. It's so important to mourn the loss of the millionaires business over the people that lost their lives.
Stevie! John! Uh.. LIndsey? HELP!
Global boiling.
