CARTMAN PUSHES HIS CHILI IN FRONT OF SCOTT. SCOTT IMMEDIATELY STARTS TO EAT IT.
SCOTT TENORMAN
Mmm, I don't know. Your chili is good Cartman, but I think mine is better. Try it.
CARTMAN
Alright...
CARTMAN PICKS UP A SPOON. EVERYONE WATCHES WITH ANTICIPATION.
SCOTT, MEANWHILE, CONTINUES TO EAT HIS CHILI.
CARTMAN FINALLY TAKES A BIG SCOOP OF THE CHILI, CHEWS IT, AND THEN SWALLOWS.
CARTMAN (CONT'D)
Hey... THIS IS GREAT!!!
STAN AND KYLE LOOK AT EACH OTHER AND COVER THEIR MOUTHS SO AS NOT TO LAUGH.

God this is REALLY good Scott!
SCOTT TENORMAN
I'm glad you like it so much... Because now that you're almost finished, I have something to tell you...
CARTMAN
What? You mean about how you put pubes in your chili?
SUDDENLY SCOTT LOOKS SLAPPED. HIS SMILE DROPS AND HE FALLS BACK INTO HIS CHAIR.
STAN, KYLE AND ALL THE OTHER SPECTATORS LOOK SURPRISED TOO.
CROWD
Huh?/What?/etc.
SCOTT TENORMAN
What?
CARTMAN
Yes, I'm afraid this isn't your chili, Scott, I switched it with Chef's.
CARTMAN POINTS TO SCOTT TENORMAN'S POT OF CHILI LYING ON THE GROUND.
CARTMAN (CONT'D)
It's delicious, Chef. I hadn't planned on that. What I DID plan on, however, was that my friends Stan and Kyle would betray me and warn you that the chili con carnival was a trap.
STAN AND KYLE LOOK AT EACH OTHER.
CARTMAN (CONT'D)
I assumed that they would tell you that I had trained Denkins' pony to bite off your wiener. What they DIDN'T TELL you was that Denkins is a crazy redneck who shoots trespassers on sight. Knowing that you would go and try to do something to the pony, I warned Mr. Denkins that violent pony killers were in the area. I also knew that you wouldn't go yourself for fear of having your wiener bitten off, you would most likely send your parents.
EXT. FARM - FENCED IN AREA - NIGHT
WE SEE SCOTT'S PARENTS WALK INTO THE FENCED IN AREA, AND WALK UP TO THE PONY.
CARTMAN (V.O.)
And I'm afraid that when Mr. Denkins spotted them on his property, he shot and killed them both.
SUDDENLY, THEY ARE RIDDLED FULL OF BULLETS.
EXT. CARTMAN'S HOUSE - CONTINUOUS
DENKINS IS IN THE CROWD.
DENKINS
They was trespassing and I was protecting myself! I have my rights!
SCOTT TENORMAN
My mom and dad are dead?
EXT. FARM - FENCED IN AREA - NIGHT
THE SAME FARM, BUT NOW POLICE TAPE, BARBRADY AND HIS CAR AND AN AMBULANCE ARE THERE. SO IS CARTMAN. SCOTT'S PARENTS LIE ON THE GROUND COVERED WITH WHITE SHEETS.
CARTMAN (V.O.)
I came just in time to see Mr. Denkins giving his report to Officer Barbrady... And of course, to steal the bodies...
AS DENKINS EXPLAINS HIMSELF TO BARBRADY, WE SEE CARTMAN DRAGGING THE BODIES OFF IN THE DISTANCE.
EXT. CARTMAN'S HOUSE - DAY
CARTMAN
After a night with a hacksaw, I was all ready to put on my chili con carnival, so that I could tell you personally about your parents demise. And of course, feed you your chili. Do you like it? Do you like it, Scott? I call it Mr. and Mrs. Tenorman chili.
SCOTT LOOKS AT THE BOWL IN HORROR. HE DROPS THE SPOON, REELS BACK AND SPITS OUT WHAT HE CAN.
SCOTT TENORMAN
OH MY GOD!!! OH MY GOD!!!
CARTMAN
Nya nya nya nya NYAAAA nya! I made you eat your par-ents! Nya nya nya nya NYAAAA nya!
STAN AND KYLE LOOK AT EACH OTHER IN DISBELIEF.
STAN

My mom and dad are dead?! No! Nooo!
IT IS AT THIS TERRIBLY INOPPORTUNE TIME THAT THE GUYS FROM RADIOHEAD WALK UP.

SCOTT TENORMAN
No wait! WAIT!!!!
BUT THE BAND IS GONE. NOW SCOTT TOTALLY BREAKS DOWN, CRYING UNCONTROLLABLY.
SCOTT TENORMAN (CONT'D)

CARTMAN

CARTMAN LICKS SCOTT TENORMAN'S TEARS OFF THE TABLE.
CARTMAN (CONT'D)
Oh, let me taste your tears, Scott! Mmmm, your tears are so yummy and sweet.

Cartman needs Kyle and Stan because they are his antithesis the very opposite of who he his. If South Park ever ends it’s going to end with Cartman and Kyle being best friends because deep down they need others craziness.
You noticed in later episodes cartman keeps saying under his breath "I'll feed you to your parents" I only noticed cause of having the subtitles on. Also when Kenny says certain things if you have the subtitles on it actually tells you what he's saying instead of just *muffled voices*

I watched this episode at college with my roommate Mike. I entered the college after five years at a community college, so I was five years older than my roommate. Unlike Mike, I was intimately familiar with classic South Park and knew how this episode ended.
When they arrived at the carnival, I asked him "Do you really not know how this ends?" His response was "Uh...He eats the chili with the pubes in it?" I then realized I was about to witness someone's first reaction to it.

I like how radiohead appears out of nowhere and makes fun of Scott.
While most praise is focused on Cartman's reveal at the end and how he even outplayed Kyle and Stan by incorporating their betrayal into his plan, I'd like to point a short, underrated moment at the beginning: I love how Cartman plays Scott by leaning into his failed pony plan. Remember that, according to eric himself, from the beginning of the day his plan was heading towards the chilli reveal, one way or another, so that means that when he's trying to urge Scott to "be near the pony when the special guest arrives" that's literally just an extra bit where Cartman wins either way: Scott either gets near the pony and possibly gets his weiner bit off, or he ignores it and the plan continues as it did in the video, but because everyone who knew was still under the impression that Cartman was going with the Pony scheme, Scott is obviously staying away from it just in case Cartman had somehow managed to teach the animal that one trick. With the pony out of the picture, everyone just thought that was just it. That's why I love seeing Cartman trying so hard to get Scott to the pony: He's literally having scott dive head first into his trap.
Y'know the scariest thing about this? No matter how this played out, Eric came out on top.
Either Scott's parents went and got shot, or Scott himself went and got shot.
Stan and Kyle don't warn Scott and he goes to the pony: Gets his wiener bitten off, humilated in front of the entire town and Radiohead.
Scott doesn't go to the chilii con carnival: Misses out on meeting his favourite band, which Cartman can humiliate him with it, oh, and his parents are still dead and Eric could still feed them to him at his doorstep (or eat them himself)
Stan and Kyle don't warn Scott and Scott doesn't go to the carnival: Misses out on meeting Radiohead. And don't think for a second that Cartman won't take advantage of Scott missing out on meeting his favourite Band
So it's a win-win for Cartman.

But Cartman is younger than 12, so he cannot be charged with anything 🤷😀
@@harrisonfnord5871 Of course he can. An 11 year old was charged for killing a 6 year old recently. Also, there's plenty more charges relevant here if we were to take this as a real life incident.
The Mexican guy from Tsst was his punishment for manslaughter
Imagine finding out that your parents were killed, then eating them, and then getting insulted by your favorite band.
No doubt it was the WORST day of Scott’s life not that he didn’t deserve at least some of it but still man it’s no wonder Scott ended up traumatized to the point of insanity after this.
@@Mario87456
Scott deserved ALL of it! You don't fuck with my favorite South Park character without paying the price TENFOLD!

No, Scott deserved EVERYTHING that he got.
@@AntasmaTheBatKing how do you act in real life? Just asking
There will never be, a more evil and entertaining act of revenge ever! And Cartman's response to his victory is on point
This episode is awesome knowing everybody is against you but you still manage to be 1 step ahead and win feels great
I'm impressed that he managed to make two humans into an appetizing chili without any help.
I'm more impressed that he managed to drag two grown adults away on his own
Youd be more impressed thata 4th graded managed to plan all this
Cartman's proven himself to be a great cook. Remember his ass burgers?
Almost makes you want to try some, doesn’t it?
It was delicious, David Jones. You hadn't planned on that
This will never not be satisfying, especially since everyone seriously underestimated Cartman.
Especially Cartman's so-called "friends", Stan and Kyle, who found Scott's ruthless and completely unprovoked torture of Cartman VERY funny, and, by even DARING to try and sabotage Cartman's revenge scheme, accidentally played a very crucial part in it.
@@AGPfan Cartman keeps Stan and Kyle cause they are sooo predictable lol
@@AGPfan
Accidentally or not, it still happened.
@@AntasmaTheBatKing Exactly.
@@AGPfan i mean they’re “friends”, but cartman resents their friendship and they find him annoying as shit, so theyre always at odds. Cartman had to be tricked into agreeing to give kyle his kidney so he wouldn’t die.
The depth of this episode is amazing, we see an already iconic character change forever, so goddamn seamlessly.
This was by far one of the funniest episodes and sadistic scenes Eric Cartman has done watching South Park. I laughed every time Cartman started licking his tears, I still love the old episodes of South Park since high school. 😂😂😂😂
One of the most memorable scenes in the whole series.
In TV history

The moment that Cartman became Eric Cartman. Where it all began. All of this could’ve been avoided if Scott gave him his money back.
This was where everyone learned that you do not f*ck with Eric Cartman. That he wasn’t just a spoiled brat, he’s a total psychopath with the tenacity and intelligence to carry out some of the most despicable and complicated plans for revenge that would make the Count of Monte Cristo raise an eyebrow.
I mean then again. Why would Cartman pay for pubic hair?
@@jalensworld7241 also then again Scott Tenronman admitted to Cartman that his parents gave 50 dollars a week for allowance and was just be mean to Cartman for fun.

Let this be a lesson NEVER. FUCK. WITH. ERIC. CARTMAN. EVER.
The fact that he explains his whole plan then ends it off with his iconic "Nyeh nyeh nyeh nyeh" is comedy gold

“It’s delicious Chef, I hadn’t planned on that”
That microscopic detail was something Cartman couldn’t predict but Kyle and Stan betraying him was easy to tell.

@@pandaduos871 His plan was literally foolproof.
Either Stan and Kyle don’t tell Scott and he gets his dick bitten off in front of Radiohead.
He goes to the pony himself and gets shot.
Or we see what happens here.
The best part is that if Kyle hadn't warned Scott for his own satisfaction and desire to make an idiot out of Cartman, perhaps Scott's parents would still be alive... at most Scott would have lost his wiener.
Well he could have just gotten a penis mouse and he'd have a shiny new penis.
“You killed your own father, and then you fed him to your half-BROTHER!!”
"In hindsight, Cartman got off easy at the end of the Post-covid Special"
- The understatement of the decade
Damn shame, man changed.
See that is where one must admit how amazing the writing is. This show can make a character kill a couple, ground up their remains, and cook it into a chili to feed to their orphaned child... and yet still have people feeling conflicted or even sympathetic to Cartman growing up to become a homeless alcoholic junkie.
