Semla | Swedish Cream Buns | Food Channel L Recipes

I’m in love with cream buns! Semla is traditional Swedish cream bun which has a nice cardamom aroma, walnut paste and of course a lot of whipped cream on top.

Ingredients for 14 buns:
For the dough:
500 g all-purpose flour
1 egg
1 egg yolk
2 tsp dry yeast
1 tsp cardamom
250 ml lukewarm milk
50 g melted butter
3 tbsp cream
50 g sugar
1 pinch salt
For the almond paste:
100 g raw almonds
120 g powdered sugar
1 tsp amaretto
1 egg white
For the garnish:
350 g whipping cream
40 g powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

The problem with making 14 buns is I'm guaranteed to eat them all! They look so good! Will this recipe work for 7 if I halve the ingredients?
