Technically all three are completely different species. I know octopus and squid taste different. Not sure what cuttlefish tastes like.

Cuttlefish is really hard to come by outside of NY/NJ but I use Calamari and adjust the cook time. One of my very favorite dishes! Ciao!

I think next we need the tutorial on how you make and jar your sauce because I've been thinking about trying it myself. I always make SO much sauce and it goes to waste, or I need it and I don't have it. I would love to see how you do it/which equipment you use!! ❤️ Love your recipes and your personality. My wife is Chinese so i've had cuttle fish many times but I never knew the Italians ate it with red sauce.
Cuttlefish are hard to come by here but Squid are readily available. Would they be interchangeable?
yes, you can definitely use squid/calamari (or scungilli) as a substitute
