I find that opening the box of soda and put it in a canning jar is the best way that I don’t have to struggle with the box tab and it makes it easier to spoon from then label it. Just thought you might like to know that. And I have found the process is a great thing to do to help your family.
Definitely will be using baking soda to clean my fruits 🍓🍒🍇
I find that vinegar is better. Baking soda is loaded with sodium and it soaks into the berries.
🤯 this is insane! Thanks for spreading the knowledge!
FACCCTS, you’re welcome ❤️
Final product looks delicious ☺️
Arm & Hammer baking soda has aluminum in it. I use Bob's baking soda with no aluminum.
I never knew that, thanks for the tip!
@@KennedyWord is it in the ingredients list?
@@foxworthall1 I’m not sure actually. Aha
I doesn’t contain aluminum, it’s pure sodium bicarbonate.
@@beraiyahbenyah6648
yes it does, go buy Bob's Redmill baking soda and do a taste comparison.
This is why I only eat bacon. I don’t have these problems
🤣
You know pork has worms in it’s flesh? Do the sun and rum method I learned it from a Jamaican neighbor when I was a child. It’s disgusting. 😂 . The larvae hatched due decomposition. I couldn’t eat any pork until I was a teen after 🤢But I started back up with bacon. I figured if it’s cooked 💯 they’ll die. But they really don’t.
That boi said bacon is his go tofor lesser problems 😮😅😂😂😂
I can't 🤣🤣
Hilarious 😂lol I miss bacon and meat.
Strawberry "seeds" are actually ovaries. Hope that helps.
How much water and baking soda per OZ?
Yes, i always see this. Do you use cold water on yours or hot or warm on yours ? 😊
More room temperature. Not too hot, not too cold.
Why does it turn black?
I only see the seeds in the water...NO giant worms.
Did u let it sit outside the refrigerator or did u put in while the baking soda settles ?
yep, I just put it on the counter or in the sink until time is up.
All fruits stays 10-15 minutes in backind soda?
Yes, veggies tend to be alittle longer ♥️
What white stuff is your baking soda..
What do you mean?
Okay, those really look very good strawberries but that doesn't mean they're sweet in fact I would say they're probably not super sweet! There's two ways to tell if a strawberry is sweet One is to smell them in their little cartons smell the end of it and if you can smell the sweetness of strawberries it's going to be good The other thing is if you see strawberries and all the little top green part is curled up they're probably going to be super sweet!
Спасибо!!!
How long do you soak it in the baking soda?
15 minutes 😌
First off you should cut the top green parts to begin.
So why do they look so bruised after
The baking soda lifts the pesticide film-like barrier, causing the strawberry skin to break down, revealing the bruises. The pesticides are there to preserve the look of the fruit so it can be sold. Once you take it off, you see all the stuff you need to skin off.
@@KennedyWord brilliant thanks
Are the bruises still good to eat
yes
The parts that are cut off have been overly effected by pesticides. There is little to no nutritional value in those pieces. It’s like eating a bad apple. I mean you cannnn, but what is it doing for your body? I prefer preserving the freshest parts. ☺️
What temperature water
Either way. I use hot.
Your strawberries sounded delicious
Thank you!
Why use a glass to put the berries in the water. Just drop them in with ur hand.
To measure out my serving sizes in the bowl before I put them in the baking sode water.
Can you just use natron too?
Not from my knowledge. I looked it up and I would say no, I wouldn’t equivocate them
@@KennedyWord isnt natron the same as baking powder?
Pesticides repel bugs from eating crops
Grrat for bugs, bad for us
@@KennedyWord bad for both bugs and us lol
They’re red on the outside but white on the inside. The inside should be red as well. 😮
Yeah add whole packet 😮, just 2 table spoon for 2-3 lt water .. u ruined all the fruit😅
Could you add a LONGER video? Geesh!
More fruit?
I'd be 100 years old if I follow this procedure before I can eat strawberries 😱✌
It literally takes 3 extra minutes. Chill! 😂
@@KennedyWord sorry for being impatient😂
Eat organic foods, 😋
I find that organics food have pesticides too, just not as much 😌
how to turn a 2minute video to 9 minutes
I want to see your face when YOU EAT ONE -- directly out of the bowl -- NO EDITS!!
Pesticides are in the fruit as well! Toxic!
Oh wow, do you only buy from certain stores?
