    I find that opening the box of soda and put it in a canning jar is the best way that I don’t have to struggle with the box tab and it makes it easier to spoon from then label it. Just thought you might like to know that. And I have found the process is a great thing to do to help your family.

    I find that vinegar is better. Baking soda is loaded with sodium and it soaks into the berries.

      You know pork has worms in it’s flesh? Do the sun and rum method I learned it from a Jamaican neighbor when I was a child. It’s disgusting. 😂 . The larvae hatched due decomposition. I couldn’t eat any pork until I was a teen after 🤢But I started back up with bacon. I figured if it’s cooked 💯 they’ll die. But they really don’t.

    Okay, those really look very good strawberries but that doesn't mean they're sweet in fact I would say they're probably not super sweet! There's two ways to tell if a strawberry is sweet One is to smell them in their little cartons smell the end of it and if you can smell the sweetness of strawberries it's going to be good The other thing is if you see strawberries and all the little top green part is curled up they're probably going to be super sweet!

    @sallykhan7372 Před rokem +1

    So why do they look so bruised after

    • @KennedyWord
      @KennedyWord  Před rokem +2

      The baking soda lifts the pesticide film-like barrier, causing the strawberry skin to break down, revealing the bruises. The pesticides are there to preserve the look of the fruit so it can be sold. Once you take it off, you see all the stuff you need to skin off.

      The parts that are cut off have been overly effected by pesticides. There is little to no nutritional value in those pieces. It’s like eating a bad apple. I mean you cannnn, but what is it doing for your body? I prefer preserving the freshest parts. ☺️
