Thanks for your support - great to know an LGBT youngster today could dream of becoming a firefighter. In the past, you could have lost their potential talent because they refused to apply since they didn't think they would fit in. If only today's attitude was in the 70s when I was growing up and cancelling out career opportunities because of being gay.
