This was our favorite of all the carols. My baby sister and brother and myself had a yearly tradition on December 1st to sing Christmas carols when we went to bed. We had great joy in our young hearts every evening and toys were the furthest thing from our minds. My most brightest and enduring memories of Christmas’ past. At age sixty-nine I am the happiest possible in that the “day star” has risen in my heart with the fullness of grace promised by the advent of my blessed Lord. I daily delight myself in Him and He gives me the desire of my heart. What transcendent joy unspeakable! I am His and He is mine! PWG
