Fun fact: I worked backstage with Ms. Cole a few times, and she would REFUSE to go on stage without that mic. That sparkly mic haunts my dreams.

Beautiful! Her father was an icon and she exemplifies all of his achievements and sings like an Angel! She is aging gracefully and still is a timeless beauty!
A beautiful Christmas carol announcing our Savior, Jesus Christ...Glory to the new born king!
I Miss Natalie Cole...that was smooth, understated & to the point...her second Soprano is rich, powerful,...but moreover her control over her voice is the real skill on display here....and her fashion was ALWAYS on POINT, ALWAYS!

Choir music always makes me cry, cause it's so beautiful!!!!!!
The song of the heart is a prayer unto me...If we have our own renditions of music, lets celebrate them not tare them down...we are all unique...and we all love music, which is a gift from God, I think He would love that we all enjoy our uniqueness and not our differences
She had such an inherited gift. We miss Nat.

Beautiful!!! Natalie Cole has such a beautiful voice!
With elegance, class and grace, Natalie Cole had a voice that embraced music from any genre. Her voice soars over any choir and stays true to the melody while coloring it with her usual flair. I miss her so much and my tears continue to shed. Merry Christmas everyone!!...(project 52)

BEAUTIFUL!!! Amen to verse 3!!!!!!!
ADD: She made it her own WITHOUT destroying the melody!!!
Too many singers are so busy using their OWN way of singing that it totally RUINS some songs!!!

Nothing wrong with artistry and self expression. But yes, it can be overdone.

True Christmas
Beleza
RIP
Glad that Ms. Cole sang the original lyrics of second verse not the “disoriented.” These things cannot be spoken against. PWG
It is good to see a black woman lead the Choir
She is the daughter of Nat King Cole. They both are good singers. They even did a duet.

Does anybody has a copy of this arrangement ? or know who published...

So painful to be reminded of how unfinished her work was when she left us...
a ja wale ja - pierdoli w mikrofon
She can barely sing a complete sentence without taking a breath in between. This is how pop music has destroyed cultured singing so people think this is good.
I believe at this time she was ill. Her heart and lungs. What a unkind thing to say about her.
It's not about her personally, it's about pop singing. Whitney Houston did the same thing...and many others. Taking a breath in the middle of the same word is artistically atrocious.
Don't be so grumpy... There is nothing wrong with pop music, only pop singers should not sing classical pieces. Same applies to opera singers who sing pop and musical theatre with their operatic wobbly voices. That sounds equally horrible. (Classical singer here)
re: opera singers singing pop - could not agree more!
She did a better job of it than I ever could.
Beautiful
RIP
