Thrudd believes everything Loki told her she just doesn't believe that Odin orchestrated it all lol. It was cool how when they were closing the portal and Atreus fell and Kratos picked him up he said "Off your back!" This is a nod to Kratos homeland training. A spartan must never be on his back
27:28 don't feel bad, bro. It hit me in the feels as well. My pops and I were estranged until my high school graduation. I hadn't seen him since I was a kid. I was certain that I loathed him with all my heart and half of someone else's. I was %100 sure I didn't want him to come. He never showed up before when he said he would, so I didn't exorbitant him to come. Also didn't want to hear/ deal with any criticism bcz I was 17 with a 2 y/o son and another on the way. I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth after eating. Come back out...Pop and my stepmother were now sitting on the couch like magic. I was pissed, fortunately he was too caught up in the moment to the point he didn't even notice it as he was walking over to me to give me a hug. When he did, the realization that it had been 7 years, going on 8, since he last gave me a hug. I gave him a quick hug, in return. But when I let go, he hadn't. Head laying on my left shoulder, he says, "My 10 y/o son is a grown man now. And I missed all of it. I'm sorry, son. I was wrong. But I won't miss anything else.".....I put my arms back around him & gahddammit all, enter: the water works. Lmao. 2 yrs before this G.O.W. came out, he passed away. So when I came across this part of the game, the memories of the day I graduated high school and the grief combined, hit me in the feels something fierce. Lbvs. So I completely get you shedding a tear or two as well. It's a beautiful moment to see
Kratos is becoming such a good dad. The kid screwed up, and he tells him as much, but when everyone was piling on Atreus, he stepped in, and now they're going to fix it together.
Half of us cried on this game many moments will come like this when atreus and kratos hugged its ok. All people cry men and women there is nothing wrong about it.
Odin didn't anticipate the wolf being released. He did plan for Thrudd and Atreus to go together tho. If you notice Heimdall tells Odin that he completed his mission, that's why he leaves the kids immediately open arriving to helheim. That's all I will say about that lol.
Hey is only getting better as we go, I love you guys, and shout out to all the fathers out there and also we who are sons let's honor our father and mother while we still have them and remember the time with those who we no longer have ❤
It’s okay to cry man, we’ve all had plenty of moments in this game where you just can’t hold back the tears. The growth between Kratos and Atreus is phenomenal compared to the first game! Not going into detail here but it kinda makes me wish that my own father had the same strenght as Kratos to be able to change for the betterment of his kids. Kratos is far from a perfect father (if such a thing even exists) but he has definitely come a long way!
I don’t think a lot of people realize just What kind of a special bond that a father and son share. It’s something that can’t really be put into a definition. It’s something unbreakable No matter how old you become in this short fleeting life. A boy will always need his father. After my own father passed away I understood Just how much my father meant to me. That is why when Atreus and Kratos said their goodbyes I just broke down and cried.
I'm not sure if you caught it but when Odin was talking to atreus in his bedroom Odin said Hudin will be waiting at his "OLD" home they never said anything about their "NEW" home.
To everyone in Asgard, Odin is like an icon, he is the all father, this all knowing protector. So to Thrudd and everyone else there he can basically do no wrong because of how idolized he is, come in Atreus whos telling her all of these supposedly horrifying things about Odin and of course shes just not gonna believe it, because how could her grandfather be like that? But there are cracks i think even she sees through And you are both kinda correct, Odin is manipulating everyone, but its all for various purposes, he definitely wouldn't setup Atreus to fail though since he wants the mask completed more than anything, obsessively so
Actually in god of war 2 Kratos was loved by his people enough that when Zeus attacked Greece they called and prayed upon him but he was busy escaping from the underworld after he was killed by Zeus. His last soldier told him that when Kratos returned to the surface world so Odin can eat a fat one lol yes Kratos was praised all gods no matter how evil are praised by someone
Kratos really needed to talk with Atreus about Greece and Sparta. If Atreus knew how severe childhood could really be he would understand Kratos being protective and strict. Especially when it comes to dealing with prophecy and gods.
The funny thing about when Odin was talking trash to Kratos about being worshipped is that Kratos knows all about being loved. When he was the GoW his warriors loved him
It is amazing to get to see kratos, KRATOS!!! Being a father and having a softer, kinder side, in the originals he was so deadly and violent, and yh he still is... but seeing him being a father is pretty damn great, just like his romance with laufey (faye) is just great to see
There is so much going on durring this they forget about the mask, and the fact that it took them right to the dog that can travel to diffent lands and when he is free the mask stops glowing.
This whole section of the playthrough with Atreus and Thrúd was funny, but getting here at 12:22, when i heard something snoring, i was like "Oh naw, what was that?" And i was agreeing with Thrúd that it did not sound like nothing. When the wolf got free, i was like, "That's going bite Atreus in the ass later." I pissed at Heimdall because how the fuck was Atreus supposed what the wolf does. Here at 23:50 where you guys are thinking Heimdall was plotting something he literally said that he had something to do for odin. i forgot what it was, but that will come into play "Later." 28:03 "GARM?! GREAT BLEEDING FREAK LAD YOU FREED GARM?!" Man, when everyone started ganging up on Atreus, i had to pause the game for a bit cause i was laughing it was like,"OK OK, OK, hold on, people. Ok, yeah, this was a bigger whoops on Atreus's end," but again, how's he supposed to know Garm does? He didn't even know who Garm was until he saw him. And i applaud Kratos for saying that, "Atreus has made a mistake, one that we will fix together."
@@TNTGamingonline Ghost of Tsushima, red dead redemption 2 and then 1(that’s the order of the story), Uncharted 1,2,3 and 4, or the Witcher 1,2 and 3. Just a list for you guys to choose from. All great games and story btw.

Tee u completely justified in them tears man. There was always that hard lessons but he knows he made a mistake.so he is going to the only olace he knows he'll be held accountable and have help to fix it.... that manipulation is deep too cause Odin is, it's OK you're allowed to mess up and Kratos' ALWAYS "do not be sorry...." is what he is fighting in his head.
To me, I think the reason for Atreus to be with Heimdal in helheim is to bind with him he did bond with thor, and Thurdd is already friends with Atreus. So if Ofin get to thrust every Aseir, he will at least have connects with them like Odin did to Freya.
Atreus let’s Garm free, Atreus does his “thing” that was hinted at in the beginning of the game, and garm’s realm shift ability is never touched on again in the story….why bring it up at all if there will be no payoff? There are so many motivations, at least from Odin, that are unknown. And I get it Odin doesn’t let people know his next moves….but some context would be nice. A third Norse game and an origin-style game within the Norse mythos would be so nice to have had, but SM studios is moving on to the next pantheon.

"Off your back!" Like he told Deimos back when Aries and Athena took him.
Only time a Spartan may be on his back, is when he returns up on his shield.
@@RazielTheUnborn yes lol either come back carrying your shield or upon it
"Garm!? Great bleedin' fuck, lad. You freed Garm?"

Atreus didn't make a mistake. He did exactly what he was supposed to do. The mask was leading him to the dog. He just doesn't know it yet
The entire Spartan Army prayed to Kratos even when he was just their General
Don’t worry Tee, this game got me in several spots.
23:00 how he tossed shows how odin truly is.
