Railfanning Along the NSM| June 2024

6 months later I pay another visit to the NSM. I got to the Kane Lake Road crossing at McNair around 11:15 and waited for headlights to hopefully show up down the track. 20 minutes went by a headlight was displayed, but unfortunately it was just light power. Fortunately 20 minutes later a westbound empty went by with two ACes, this was the moment I was waiting for, and this would end up being the train of the trip as I would fall on major bad luck the next day.
June 10th, 2024. I got our way early and was posed up at Toimi at 0600 and waited for an eastbound. Unfortunately there was no morning eastbound loads on this day and instead only got a tie train going by around 0900. These are very frustrating times along the NSM, you really don’t know what you are going to get when attempt to railfan this line.
