+AKA-ART Nice guide ART, I mostly fly as the pilot in the attack chopper and always try to make my gunner get good angles. IMO the gunner represents the biggest threat in the attack heli in long distance fights.
you should tap fire , burst are way too excessive for taking out hostiles. Tap firing makes you exactly know where the enemy's health is at. This way you'll understand how many shots you would need to acquire until the target is down
i sometimes find the splash dmg to be somewhat unreliable as i may be shooting right next an enemy's feet and wont be dealing any splash dmg. i feel like bf3's gunner cannon was better by far (also bcuz you did not have to worry about wasting ammo as you would have unlimited rounds)
hammerhead definitely a good map for long range attack heli if you have decent jet (or if ennemy jet does not attack you from above like he sould). Reminds me of orbital flying in bf3. Zoom is a good choice for this map. Also dragon valley is really good. Lot of covers. Decent range between you and the AA (not like on caspian where a decent AA player will massacre a heli if jets are not helping)

This is my second day of using the attack heli and the first day I've had 2 great pilots and today none
