Thanks Tyler b for contributing this month, guys please let us know if you enjoyed the video.
Thanks so much for having me on, Tyler! Was a ton of fun!
Wow
I don’t leave comments usually, just “consumes” the videos…I don’t know whether this vid is going to burst out or not, but Tyler B is cool. It is very nice to watch him , he has good voice, good articulation, it was really interesting to listen to him…the only question I am asking myself - why I don’t know anything about Tyler B yet.
Great video❤
wow, thank you so much for the kind words! Yeah I tend to keep a low profile and fly under the radar, but looking to possibly change that this year. Thanks again!
This reminds me of the ultimate study method video but it’s helping with breaking it down in more simple terms
I've done close to 200 master studies since last year, and those were more or less, direct copies, and it did help me improve but I'll definitely try this approach too. Sometimes I like the colors in a painting but the composition or the subject matter isn't interesting to me, so I could study the color from one painting and the composition from another...
This was the video I needed, thanks Tyler!
Really great advice ! Thank You !
This video is amazing genuine good art advice. Thank you to both Tylers!
That's the essence of creativity ! Great video 😄👍
Reckon the exercise idea is great. Thanks Tyler B
THanks! It's really cool and useful!
This was an awesome video! I do some of these techniques when working on concept pieces for TV and it was really refreshing to see someone elses take on it.
This was so helpful I thank you!
This is a great tip, thank you!!
Thanks TylerB for the hot tip! I think it's easy to forget that referencing isn't copying, especially when you're on a time crunch. This looks like a great exercise to try out our referencing muscle ✌️
Woaaa great idea thanks for sharing!! ❤
Thanks for the tips, super helpful! I also learned a new word, Verbatim :D
Yoooooo Tyler not Edlin is a very cool man! (and made a pretty smooth video) This exercise has a lot of value and I forgot about it cause life happens, thanks to both Tyler's for pulling this one up for the gang
Awesome video! Thank you
This was really informative! I like to do studies of people & environments using references, but I’ve never really copied directly from it. Thank you for sharing this tip! It’s really helpful ☺️
I forget to do this sometimes. Thanks! Another variation is to add something to your study that's unique to your life. Like a road sign with the name of a childhood pet, "Cocoa Road" or "Patches Avenue," or you could use the name of a loved one, or a real place you like. Or a little white cat in the grass if you had one, or a "WANTED" poster, but it's a picture of your brother or your best friend, or a cryptic remark written on a wall, like "Mind the chompers." Or a really really old soda ad poster, as though it's from a world gone by.
Interesting take on doing studies
oh thank this is so usefull, they alwzays tell youb to study but i never know how to tackle them
