Delaware-Lackawanna: Chasing PO-75 Westbound

  • On a couldy spring afternoon, we catch the DL's "PO-75" job as it works around Mount Pocono, PA. We then follow the train westbound to Scranton. Power for the train is four ALCO products, M630 3000, M420W 2045, C425 2457, and M630 3007. The engines put on a good show as they pass by the camera at Pocono Summit. The rest of the way into Scranton is all downhill. We'll then leave the train after they pass the former Lackwanna Railroad's Mattes Street Tower in downtown Scranton.

    Looks like Canadian steam is again alive at Steamtown, no wait nevermind it’s just the ALCo’s and MLWs
