Daniel Minic CZcams is one of the most efficient ways to learn almost ANYTHING though. Tons of people who make videos that although they are very in depth, they are relatively short and straight to the point. While also having videos that are long and even more in depth.
Ads are really annoying though. And like you said, now if you don’t skip a ad, CZcams will play ANOTHER ad directly after.

Good explanations Adam I did like the hold the line between the 2 cones on the apex then let the car drift to the outside line, that is good instructions people often think you just kiss the apex but then they have to take 2 stabs at the corner and the line is compromised, I also noticed that the instructors explain that you can take an alternative line but it is a trade off.

that's awesome they are giving you the extra time and attention and how well you are accepting it, driving fundamentals with improve you behind any wheel. I don't recommend you getting on a motorcycle but breaking before you turn and finding the line to the end of the turn is something that's picked up quicker than in a car, backing up the turn! you want to be on the gas going thru the apex when most people are trying to slow up until that point. find an exhaust with the option to have a quieter tone when you need it so youre not driving within the sound limits.

Tbh lots of the techniques the instructors were mentioning you can learn just through watching F1. Using all of the track going all the way to the white lines, not turning while under braking causing understeer, braking in a straight line, trying to find the straightest line through corners, keeping your eyes deep into the foreground and not directly on whats in front of you. etc... ChainBearF1 has a good channel on youtube explaining driving techniques as well and why F1 drivers choose to do things certain ways as well as other interesting matters. Another good thing to watch is F1 drivers doing virtual laps while explaining what they are trying to do to set good times. anyways great content as always

Always loved driving this track in Forza. And I've seen some racing laps on CZcams, looks like such a simple & fun track. Great drivingg Adam. I definitely want to drive here, Nurburgring, and Road Atlanta one day .. maybe Laguna Seca. Love that these instructors seem very smart and friendly. Sometimes instructors are very aggressive and strict which is annoying, and sometimes they don't even sound that smart lol. That guy Mike seems very nice, I like his walk-through of the Mustang in the beginning. 🙂 11:12 Such a great tip , about the braking with steering, and finding the right balance.
13:16 Omg the sounddd of the GT3 RS full throttle. 14:30 It was awesomee .. but loudd. 😂 I'm sure that made their day hearing this thing rip. Wish I was there to hear it. 😂 Happy they let you drive it on track, very kind of them. They are real ones for that. You did great at controlling the Porsche on this track too. Of course you weren't going 10/10 to push the limits, but still pretty fast speeds. I see videos of this car being pushed at the Nurburgring and people sometimes struggle keeping the balance of the car since the rear engine .. I've definitely seen sketchy situations, the Cayman GT4 seems easier to rip. GT3 RS seems like one beast tho. Very good. 🙂

First off, LRP is one of my favorite tracks for the atmosphere alone, and it's pretty close to me (I'm from JimmyO's town so like 45m-1hr). Second, that damn decibel limit... they used to allow RSD & LCD to drift there about 5 years ago, the sound ordinance put a stop to that right quick. And no racing on Sundays, period. Lime Rock has been an established track since 1956, but people still make a stink about it. Imagine trying to pull that same stunt living next to an airport and see how far you get.
Also, you should totally track down the fire orange Lime Rock Park Edition M3 from a couple years back in the early 2010s; they look sharp af.
Edit: Well It looks like they made 200 of them for 2013. They were a 10k add-on package with special Fire Orange paint, tons of carbon fiber, Competition Package as standard, and a bunch of other stuff. They're definitely worth a look.

The part at 11:00 where he is explaining the braking and turning at the same time, an easier way to explain it is like this:
Almost any type of racing is all about managing your available traction. Your tires only have a limited amount of traction, and for maximum efficiency and speed, you want to be using as much of the available traction as possible without breaking the limit, at all times. Braking, turning, and acceleration all require individual amounts traction, so you don't want to do them at the same time, otherwise you will have to be going slower in order to not break traction.
But, you can't just instantly release the brakes and immediately go into full angle steering (on most vehicles) because the sudden weight transfer/body roll of the car would for a short time bounce to the outside tires and require additional traction forcing you to have to go slower (unless you are trying to do a scandinavian flick to start out a sick drift).
A key part of racing and what he is explaining is that you need to have balanced transitions between each stage of braking/turning/accel in order to manage the load transfer from each tire to the next as you pass through the corner--- like was shown with the rope on the wheel. Making sure the transitions between each stage of braking/turning/accelerating are smooth and linear is critical to make sure you don't overlap any of the stages too much, and put too much weight on one or two of the tires, which requires more traction than spreading the weight out, causing understeer/oversteer.
The most efficient way to corner is to brake in a straight line at the limit of the tires causing the weight to shift to the front, then turning in to the corner slowly as you release the brakes at the same pace so that the weight of the car smoothly transitions from the front tires to the outside tires, and finally reapplying throttle moving the weight from the outside tires to the rear tires in a smooth and linear fashion (relative to the angle of the corner) allowing you to maintain maximum traction efficiency without bouncing the weight around upsetting the suspension and breaking traction. The amount you are using the brakes or throttle should be relative to the amount of angle in the steering wheel---- which is why that rope thing is an absolutely stellar learning tool for teaching the transitions between braking/turning/accelerating.
And while those generation of mustangs, with those particular tires are extremely boring for that type of track, it is a fantastic learning tool because they do have a pretty significant amount of body roll going on in the corners which is a very clear indicator of weight transfer that you can see/feel, as well as the tires are going to squeal very loudly as the reach and break the limit of traction letting you know when you are overcooking it.
On say like a fully built time-attack gt350, slammed with sticky tires, it would be much much more difficult to teach these concepts because the weight transfer and traction limits would be much more difficult to feel and hear all the way up until you have already passed them and are in the grass heading for a tire wall--- even if the car is much much more adequately designed to handle a road coarse due to limited body roll and high traction limits that you have to be going very fast to reach.
Thanks for sharing this vid, even though it wasn't too in depth still enjoyed it.

Lotsa noise is cool and stuff, but being able to properly drive your car is way cooler man. I'd add some more muffling to the low-noise mode if I were you
