We are going for our first trip to DW ever! We are going to Orlando for 12 days so we are staying off property for this visit. We do plan to golf and do other parks and attractions. Some good tips here, you just reminded me to not forget the goggles!! I don't understand why people spend money on Disney clothes before they go? I guess it's personal preference? My sister in law got matching t shirts for their family, my husband said that's a hard no! Hahahaa I'm sure we will feel the magic when we are there!! I honestly just want to be comfortable and am in my I don't care what this mom looks like era ahahahaha

Going just 1 time and I want to avoid crowds, I want super low crowds. When would you recommend going? Also if only going 1 time, is a magic band necessary? Thanks.

You can use them to unlock your door and get into the theme parks but you can also use your phone or ticket card as well. I have both the regular Magic Band and MagicBand+ - if you want to get one but want to save money, just add a Magic Band on to your package arriving. (Typically $24.99 range per band.) The regular ones have all the functionality you need.
